By Chinese Standards Services Network (CSSN), CNKI standard database and the standard information database of National Science Library, collecting laser standard information of every country, and then establishing a database of standard information analysis. The paper takes technology standards of Germany, France, American and China as objects and studies their standard quantity, standard kinds, the equivalent adoption, standard techniques, standard product, developing courses of standard system through some methods, such as bibliometric, literature investigation, clustering analysis and so on. It showed that American has more quantity of standard techniques and standard products of emerging laser fields, while China has advantages in traditional laser field and has the largest number of standard, reflecting the sustainable development of China's laser industry. So it is suggested that China further plan the laser industry to ensure the sound development of the laser industry.
