Using the sample of 585 questionnaires from 151 R D teams, the study revealed that individual human capital and social ties had significantly positive influence on knowledge sharing and creativity, and knowledge sharing had a mediating effect between individual human capital, social ties and creativity. The study also found that team learning from mistakes moderated the relationship between human capital, social ties and creativity, and moderated the relationship between speci?c human capital, instrumental ties and knowledge sharing. However the results didn’t show that team learning from mistakes moderated the relationship between general human capital, expressive ties and knowledge sharing.
