| Through examples, the author analyzes the issues of non-standardization in documenting books in the bibliographic references. The results show that this is caused mainly by the diversity of titles, subtitles, edition of the referenced books, authors' attitude, and editors' working attitude. To standardize the documentation of books in the bibliographic references, the authors suggest that the design of book front matter should be standardized based on the Books Cataloguing Data in Publication, and this should be editors' responsibility. |
