| The practice of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics over the last 30 years has shown that, by making publication decision based on recommendations of the editorial board members, academic quality of the journal is guaranteed. The recommendation system usually makes more precise judgment to the scientific value of submitted manuscripts and their appropriateness to the journal. It effectively speeds up the editorial process leading to reduced publication retardation. The editorial recommendation system is also advantageous in encouraging young scientists and promoting disciplinary advances. |
