丝绸是我国古代海外贸易的大宗货品。宋元时期，由于政府大力扶持丝织业，并以空前开明的态度鼓励海外贸易，广东丝绸贸易出现了前所未有的兴盛。广东地区的蚕桑业虽然并不发达，但其丝绸贸易有坚实的货源后盾，而得天独厚的地理位置又使其易于与海外各国进行丝绸贸易，成为声名显赫的丝绸吞吐中心。 相似文献
