Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.) Solms) is a prolific free floating aquatic macrohpyte found in tropical and subtropical parts of the earth. The effects of pollutants from textile wastewater on the anatomy of the plant were studied. Water hyacinth exhibits hydrophytic adaptations which include reduced epidermis cells lacking cuticle in most cases, presence of large air spaces (7～50 μm), reduced vascular tissue and absorbing structures. Textile waste significantly affected the size of root cells.The presence of raphide crystals was noted in parenchyma cells of various organs in treated plants.  相似文献

Objective: Detecting the expression and mutation of human telomeric repeat binding factor (hTRF1) in 10 malignant hematopoietic cell line cells on the base of determining its genomic structure and its four pseudogenes to clarify if hTRF1 mutation is one of the factors of the activation of telomerase. Methods: hTRF1cDNA sequences were obtained from GenBank, its genome structure and pseudogenes were forecasted by BLAST and other biology information programs and then testified by sequencing. Real-time RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of hTRF1mRNA in 10 cell line cells, including myelogenous leukemia cell lines K562, HL-60, U-937, NB4, THP-1, HEL and Dami; lymphoblastic leukemia cell lines 6T-CEM, Jurkat and Raji. Telomerase activities of cells were detected by using telomeric repeat amplification (TRAP)-ELISA protocol. PCR and sequencing were used to detect mutation of each exon of hTRF1 in 10 cell line cells. Results: hTRF1 gene, mapped to 8q13, was divided into 10 exons and spans 38.6 kb. Four processed pseudogenes of hTRF1 located on chromosome 13, 18, 21 and X respectively, was named as ψhTRF1-13, ψhTRF1-18, ψhTRF1-21 and ψhTRF1-X respectively. All cell line cells showed positive telomerase activity. The expression of hTRF1 was significantly lower in malignant hematopoietic cell lines cells (0.0338, 0.0108:_0.0749) than in normal mononuclear cells (0.0493, 0.0369:_0.128) (P=0.004). But no significant mutation was found in all exons of hTRF1 in 10 cell line cells. Four variants were found in part of intron 1, 2 and 8 of hTRF1. Their infection on gene function is unknown and needs further studies. Conclusion: hTRF1 mutation is probably not one of the main factors for telomerase activation in malignant hematopoietic disease. Embryogenic calli were induced from the seeds of creeping bentgrass (Agrostis palustris Huds.) cv. Regent and colonial bentgrass (Agrostis Tenuis Sibth. Fl. Oxen.) cv. Tiger. The embryogenic calli were precultured on fresh medium for 4–7 days and then co-cultivated withAgrobacterium tumefaciens, LBA4404. which contains plasmid vector-pSBGM harboring bar coding region, synthetic green fluorescent protein (sGFP) coding region and matrix attachment region (MAR). After 3 days of co-cultivation, the calli were washed thoroughly and transferred to MS medium containing 2 mg/L of 2, 4-D, 12–15 mg/L phosphinothricin (PPT) and 250 mg/L of cefotaxime. After 2–3 months of selection, the actively growing calli of ‘Regent’ and ‘Tiger’ were transferred to MS medium with 12–15 mg/L PPT and 250 mg/L cefotazime for regeneration. The putative transformants were maintained on MS medium with 3 mg/L PPT for long period but control died within 1 month. After establishing in greenhouse, the transformants also showed strong resistance to 0.4% of herbicide Basta but control plants died within 2 weeks. Under confocal microscope, both young leaves and roots showed significant GFP expression. PCR analysis revealed the presence of a DNA fragment of GFP gene at the expected size (380 bp) in the transformants and its absence in a randomly selected control plant.  相似文献

β-glucanase was purified from a solid-state culture ofTrichoderma reesei on wheat bran in three steps which comprised ammonium sulfate precipitation, Sephadex G-100 chromatography, and DEAE-Sephadex A-50 chromatography. The molecular mass was determined to be 35.21 kilodaltons by sodium dodecyl sulfate-12.5% polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The β-glucanase at low pHs was more stable than that at high pHs, and optimum pH was 5.0. The optimum temperature was 60°C, and β-glucanase was relatively stable at below 40°C for 60 min. TheK m of the enzyme on β-glucan was 10.86 mg/ml, and theV max on β-glucan was 14286 μmol of glucose equivalents per mg of the pure enzyme per min. The β-glucanase activity was significantly inhibited by Fe3+ ions, and was reduced in the presence of Cu2+ ions, Mn2+ ions and Mg2+ ions at 5 mmol/L and 10 mmol/L, respectively. The β-glucanase activity was stimulated by Co2+ ions, Ca2+ ions, Zn2+ ions, and Fe2+ ions at 1 mmol/L and 5 mmol/L, respectively. A simple and convenient procedure for stercoselective synthesis of （Z）-allyl selenides has been developed by a one-pot reaction of diselenides with Baylis-Hillman adducts in the presence of samarium metal-trimethylsilyl chloride under mild conditions. Presumably, the diselenides are cleaved by Sm/TMSCI system to form selemde anions, which then undergo SN2＇ substitution of Baylis-Hillman adducts to produce the （Z）-allyl selenides.  相似文献

The line persistence of a graph G, Pt （ G ） is the minimum number of lines which must be removed to increase the diameter of G. In Ref. [7] （J. Shanghai Univ., 2003,7（4）：352-357）, we gave a characterization of graphs of diameter five with ρ1 （ G ）≥2. In this paper we will show that each of the 8 special graphs Xi （ i = 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8） listed in condition （2） of Theorem 1 in Ref. [7] can not be deleted. Therefore the results we obtained in Ref. This article reports first-principles band structure calculations forRMn6Sn6 (R=Tb, Dy). The calculation uses the linear muffin-tin orbitals (LMTO) method in the atomic-sphere-approximation (ASA), and yields results showing that both TbMn6Sn6 and DyMn6Sn6 are ferrimagnetic compounds with antiparallel aligned moments ofR and Mn atoms. In this research the 4f states ofR atoms are treated as localized states, i.e., the hybridization of 4f states with other valence electrons is neglected. The moments of Mn in both compounds were determined to be 2.43 μB and 2.38 μB, respectively. The considerably small additional moments for Mn from the spin-orbit coupling indicates that the spin-orbital coupling is not dominated for Mn atoms. The total moments of Tb and Dy atoms are 10.28 μB and 11.20 μB. All the calculation findings accorded well with experimental results. The optimization of cultural conditions for β-glucanase production byBacillus subtilis ZJF-1A5 was investigated in flask trials. Temperature had great effect on β-glucanase production which maximized at optimal temperature of 37°C and decreased significantly when temperature was over 37°C. Charge quantity affected β-glucanase production significantly. Adding oxygen vector N-dodecane or acetic ether benefited β-glucanase production, but it depended on the concentration and charge quantity. The results of fractional factorial design showed that age and size of inoculum and shaking speed were the key factors affecting β-glucanase production and the cultivation time span to reach the highest β-glucanase activity. The optimal cultural conditions for β-glucanase production obtained with CCD were as follows: inoculum age and size (16 h, 3.82% (v/v)), shaking speed 210 r/min, charge quantity of 30 mL in 250 mL flask and initial pH 7.0, cultured at 37°C for 50 h. Repeated experimental results accorded with those predicted by a second-order polynomial model. The amount of β-glucanase, α-amylase and neutral protease produced byB subtilis ZJF-1A5 was associated partially with cell growth. Those three enzymes' activities increased following the cell growth and increased significantly when cells entered the stationary phase. The construction of multirate rearrangeable network has long been an interesting problem. Of many results published, all were achieved on 3-stage Clos network. The monotone routing algorithm proposed by Huet al. (2001) was also first applied to 3-stage Clos network. In this work, we adopt this algorithm and apply it to log d (N,m,p) networks. We first analyze the properties of log d (N,m,p) networks. Then we use monotone algorithm in log d (N,0,p) network. Furthermore we extend the result to construct multirate rearrangeable networks based on log d (N,m,p) network (1≤m≤n−1). Lipophilic tea polyphenols (LTP) were prepared by catalytic esterification of green tea polyphenols (GTP) with hexadecanoyl chloride. A novel long-chain acyl-derivative of epigallocatechin-3-o-gallate (EGCG) was first isolated from purification of LTP by high-speed countercurrent chromatography (HSCCC) using a solvent system composed of n-hexane-ethyl acetate-methanol-water (1∶1∶1∶1, v/v). The molecular structure of the acyl-derivative, Epigallocatechin-3-O-gallate-4′-O-hexadecanate, was elucidated by means of elemental analysis, IR,1H-NMR and MS spectra. 本文比较分析了滇池两种水葫芦的形态特征和生物量分配。结果表明,紫根水葫芦和普通水葫芦在根长、叶柄长、叶片长和叶片宽以及根冠比等的差异均达到极显著(p0.01)。紫根水葫芦的各个部分的干重都比普通水葫芦低,其中全株、叶柄、叶片干重的差异达到极显著水平(p0.01),根的干重差异达到了显著水平(p0.05)。紫根水葫芦和普通水葫芦在生物量分配上存在显著差异。两种水葫芦叶柄/全株和叶/全株差异达到显著水平(p0.05),根/全株、叶柄/根、叶/根、叶柄/叶表现出极显著差异(p0.01)。研究结果表明诱变育种措施显著地改变了水葫芦的生物量分配,较大的根系生物量分配应该是紫根水葫芦净化富营养化水体的生物学基础。  相似文献

This note deals with the weighted Turán type inequalities with the weights having inner singularities underL p norm for 0<p≤∞. Our results essentially extend the result of Wang and Zhou (2002), and the method used in this paper is simpler and more direct than that of Wang and Zhou (2002). This study examined the effects of dietary α-tocopheryl acetate supplementation on antioxidant enzyme activities and fillet quality in commercial-size Sparus macrocephalus. Three hundred fish [main initial weight （350±12） g] were divided into three groups （E250, E500 and El000） and reared in 9 cages. The fish were fed for 8 weeks with three diets containing different levels of dietary α-tocopheryl acetate （289, 553, 1069 mg/kg）. Over the experimental period, fish were fed to satiation and reached a final mean weight of （465±28） g without significant body weight difference and proximate composition difference. Fillet α-tocopherol was significantly （P〈0.05） different between groups, reaching levels of 14.2, 22.1, 30.9 pg/mg fillet for groups E250, E500 and El000, respectively. Total serum superoxide dismutase （SOD） activity increased significantly （P〈0.05） in fish fed the diets high in α-tocopheryl acetate, but serum glutathione peroxidase （GPX） activity was unaffected. In storage on ice, fillets of fish fed the diets high in α-tocopheryl acetate exhibited significantly lower （P〈0.05） levels of oxidation. These results suggested that increased dietary α-tocopheryl acetate could increase its flesh deposition, increase the activity of SOD and prevent lipid peroxidation ofSparus macrocephalus fillets in retail storage on ice.  相似文献

This paper draws on the philosophical works of Emmanuel Levinas — namely, his notion of “useless suffering” — in order to open up questions of learning and community beyond typical configurations that structure (and sometimes limit) social attachments according to a requisite degree of commonality. It is argued that while discourses of knowledge and emotion enable a sense of understanding and feeling with others, they nonetheless cast differences in a universalized discourse of enlightenment, wherein the other is reduced to a version of the same. Turning to the Levinasian notion of “useless suffering,” I consider instead the conditions of possibility opened up paradoxically because the other cannot be rendered in pre-given terms. In so doing, I hope to contribute to on-going discussions in the context of feminism and education interested in theorizing the conditions of possibility for coming together across differences, neither consuming the other as an object of information, nor reducing her or his experience to a version of the self. My argument is structured around Lourdes Portillo’s (2001) most recent film,Missing Young Women, which documents the disappearance, rape, and murder of over 200 women working in Juarez, Mexico. One scene in particular is referenced as a way to underscore how the Levinasian notion of “uselessness” might orient a mode of attentiveness that renders one responsible before understanding, concerned before feeling. Constituted asa prior responsibility for the other, it is suggested that “useless suffering” shifts the dominant terms of education and feminism away from the formation of common bonds (in knowledge and emotion) to underscore the conditions of possibility that might lie beyond meaning and being itself.  相似文献

A genetic linkage map comprised of 131 loci was constructed with an F2 population derived from an inter-subspecific cross betweenBrassica campestris L. ssp.chinensis cv. ‘aijiaohuang’ and ssp.rapifera cv. ‘qisihai’. The genetic map included 93 RAPD loci, 36 AFLP loci and 2 morphological loci organized into 10 main linkage groups (LGs) and 2 small groups, covering 1810.9cM with average distance between adjacent markers being approximately 13.8cM. The map is suitable for identification of molecular markers linked to important agronomic traits, QTL analysis, and even for marker-assisted selection in breeding programs of Chinese cabbage and turnip. Aquilaria agallocha can produce fragrant agarwood used for incense, traditional medicine and other products. An efficient plant regeneration system was established via organogenesis from shoots developed from seedlings ofAquilaria agallocha. Shoots generated many buds on MS medium supplemented with 1.3 μmol/L BA (6-benzylaminopurine) in the first 7 weeks, and the buds elongated on MS medium with 1.3 μmol/L BA+0.5 μmol/L NAA (naphthaleneacetic acid) in another 7 weeks, 2.3 shoots 2 cm in length per explant were obtained within 14 weeks. Plantlets were rooted on 1/2 MS medium after being immersed in 5 μmol/L NAA for 48 h, 96.7% of the roots grew up two weeks later. All plantlets that survived acclimatization grew well in the pots. This paper presents ak-ε-k p multi-fluid model for simulating confined swirling gas-solid two phase jet comprised of particle-laden flow from a center tube and a swirling air stream entering the test section from the coaxial annular. A series of numerical simulations of the two-phase flow of 30 μm, 45 μm, 60 μm diameter particles respectively yielded results fitting well with published experimental data. 《宝剑记》主要取材于我国古典小说《水浒传》中"林冲落草"这段故事。相较来看,《宝剑记》继承了《水浒传》的很多方面,包括主要人物设置,故事情节内容,"忠奸"主题思想。除此,《宝剑记》在人物形象、情节脉络、中心矛盾、起因结局等方面又有所创新。《宝剑记》对《水浒传》的改编凸显出明中叶反封建专制统治的社会思潮和人的自我意识的觉醒,也是作者李开先个人心灵世界的直接映现,具有明显的进步性与现实意义。  相似文献
