A parallel system with two active components and a cold standby unit is studied in this paper. The two simultaneously working components are dependent and the copula function is used to model their dependence. Both Mark Twain and Lu Xun were the most well-known writers in the world literature. They were famous for biting style of writing and the way of using humor and irony,which won high praise of public. Although they lived in different countries and even different times,they shared certain similarities. This thesis will compare the likeness in their writing styles,especially their employment of sharp contrast. As for language,they were all the leaders in literature. It seemed that their works were just for fun. Actually there was light of thoughts in them that were used to satirize,to disclose,to laugh and eventually to cure people’s soul. Therefore,after reading their works,people would laugh with tears and come to examine themselves. This paper is to unfold the repression and inner struggle of the two typical spinster images in the novel Winesburg Ohio, the masculine small town, which entraps women with the conventional codes. They achieve economic independence in their earlier years which is their first attempt to overthrow the yoke of man-dominated world. There are two different types of oils—high-wax oil and normal oil—found in the Damintun Depression of Liaohe Oilfield after several years of exploration and development, but their distributions and origins had confused the explorers in the oilfield. The introduction of petroleum-system concept shifts the view of geoscientists from geology and geophysics to oil, gas and their related source rocks. After detailed study, two petroleum systems have been identified in the Damintun Depression: (1) the ES42-Ar buried hill petroleum system (called the high-wax oil petroleum system) and (2) the ES41 ES34-ES4 and ES3 petroleum system (called the normal oil petroleum system). Based on the detailed analysis of the basic components, and all the geological processes required to create these elements of the two petroleum systems, it is put forward that targets for future exploration should include the area near Dongshenpu-Xinglongpu and the area near the Anfutun Sag. This provides scientific basis and has theoretical and practical meaning for the exploration and development. 相似文献

In American literary history,two ocean novels,Herman Melville’s Moby Dick and Ernest Hemingway’s The Old Man and the Sea,have always been comparatively studied.Much research focuses on the two protagonists,Ahab in Moby Dick and Santiago in The Old Manand the Sea,to praise their heroic spirit,which is shared with other commonly acknowledged heroes.However,unique heroic characteristics of Ahab and Santiago which are tinged with the time flavor are commonly neglected.Enlightenment,which took on different facets in the 19th and 20th centuries,and American social development in different stages contributed a lot to the forming of the two heroic styles.In conclusion,Ahab and Santiago,in the sense of the affirmation of one’s value and the defence of their dignity,are heroes,and meanwhile,their heroic behaviors are adapted to the whole atmosphere of a specific time stage. 相似文献

Looking the progress of cyber based information system in railways, air ways, commercial institutions, industries, medical institutions etc. a pertinent questions is raised that why not in agriculture？ It is however, realized that due to short supply of extension workers, their lower educational level and least per capita extension expenditure, the demand based extension services are not been provided to different kinds of clients. Due to diversification of agriculture, the needs are varying from farmer to farmer and area to area. Farmers need different calculated feasible, viable and economical practices to follow for better output and income. The socio-economic and agro-climatic situation of farmers in the same village is also different. Therefore, demand based extension services cannot be possible through our conventional system of extension with the available human and financial resources. So far, extension agents give the information what ever they know and not that what the farmers need. It is therefore suggested to develop cyber based extension system in our country, which provides all required information about all possible questions of the farmers. Keeping this point in view, an effort was made to develop an Expert System of Extension at Division of Agricultural Extension, Indian Agricultural Research Institute New Dlehi-12. The system was built in two phases. In the first phase the agricultural information of the selected crops have been collected from the authentic sources and stored in the form of a database. In the second phase, the decision rules were formulated and coded in the expert system. Both these phases are finally combined to form cyber-based expert system, which is hosted on the Internet for the use of the farmers and general public. A new electrochemical oscillatory system of bromate in alkaline solution is reported.In Pt-Bromate-Alkaline solution system,two different types of electrochemical oscillations(Type Ⅰ and Type Ⅱ) can be observed.Type Ⅰ appears before hydrogen evolution and Type Ⅱ involves periodic hydrogen evolution.Type Ⅰ relates to the adsorption/desorption of the hydrogen on platinum electrode,and Type Ⅱ with periodic oscillation stems from the coupling of electrochemical reactions(the reduction of bromate and evolution hydrogen reaction) with mass transfer(diffusion and convection).More over,under the right conditions,the two types appear in different oscillatory modes,for example,simple periodical mode and mixed one,etc..Crossed cycle in the cyclic voltammograms,which is the basic characteristics for electrochemical oscillatory systems,has also been observed as expected. 相似文献

First musicians using polyphony and homophony in their compositions can be seen during the 19th century in Turkey. These talented amateur composers, who worked in simple forms, such as marches or educational music, were not actually professional composers but either orchestral or choral directors. Later, during the Republic period （after 1923）, ＂Turkish Five＂ emerged. ＂Turkish Five＂ consisted of professional composers who were educated in Europe and learned western musical forms. These musicians, according to their birth years, are Cemal Resit Rey （1904-1985）, Hasan Ferit Alnar （1906-1978）, Ulvi Cemal Erkin （1906-1972）, Ahmet Adnan Saygun （1907-1991） and Necil Kazan Akses （1908-1999）. ＂Turkish Five＂ achieved important accomplishments and did significant contributions to Turkish contemporary music in 30-40 years with their efforts. While doing this, they used over 500-year old musical legacy of the West. At the beginning, these musicians used Turkish folk tunes and their rhythmic and modal system, however, later, they began to use ＂impressionism＂, ＂neo-classicism＂ and finally ＂atonalism＂ in their music. In the current study, the contributions of ＂Turkish Five＂ to contemporary Turkish piano music and their approaches to piano education were examined via literature review. After an extensive research with the literature on the topic, the researcher has interviewed with six piano teachers from different music institutions in Turkey （including two schools of time arts, two conservatories and two music teacher training schools）. During these interviews, the contributions of the ＂Turkish Five＂ were examined based on ＂relativity＂ and ＂local to global＂ principles in education, and the researcher has searched for the ways to use more of their music in piano education through the interviews. This paper describes the differences between the Chinese and American higher education system, and different issues behind these differences along with history and contemporary complexities, and analyzes the reason of its emergence, then how to solve these issues. I studied at Iowa Wesleyan College in America for two and a half years. The rapid development of ICT （information technology and communication） in the last two decades has changed society substantially as a whole. For higher education institutions, the external environment pressure to incorporate ICT in their educational and administrative processes has forced them to invest in resources for infrastructure and training. In addition, teachers have found that they can use technology in their teaching, but lack of full knowledge of how to use it effectively from a pedagogical point of view. The incorporation of new education modalities depends largely on the contextual variables prevailing in the institution and teachers. In UABC （Autonomous University of Baja California）, the early days of online education go hack to 1996, so the study period was from 1996 to 2009. An online survey was designed to fmd out the teachers＇ backgrounds and involvement in online education, their experience as online teachers, and the tools and practices used. Of 97 teachers who were identified with some experience in online teaching, 70% responded to the Survey （68）. It was found that the highest percentage （33%） of teachers who responded the survey started teaching online between 2003 and 2006. 56% of teachers have been teaching between one and five online courses. On the other hand, most teachers recognized that 30%-79% of the content of their courses were online based. The most popular learning management system used is moodle followed by blackboard in teachers＇ preference. In general, teachers expressed using the three main communication tools of online education： forums, chat and e-mail, favoring the use of e-mail. The communication slrategies teachers often use in their courses promoted student-student and student-teacher interaction. In their evaluation strategies, most said that they used self-assessment, rubrics and to a lesser extent online exams and co-evaluation.
