网络教学平台是实施网络教学的技术基础。本文通过对现有主要网络教学平台软件的调查分析和相关文献调研,并结合自身的研究与实践,阐述了网络教学平台的发展与分类,详细讨论了辅助课程讲授的网络教学平台和面向协作活动的研究型教学平台的结构与功能,说明了网络教学平台的功能分析指标,讨论了网络教学平台设计与开发中需要考虑的三个主要问题,即:系统功能模块、系统架构和用户界面。文章最后提出了网络教学平台的发展趋势与研究热点。  相似文献

网络教学平台在教学信息化中发挥着基础性的支撑作用,笔者以所在学校使用的网络教学平台为例,主要从教师授课情况、网络教学平台作用、网络教学平台使用制约因素等方面进行了问卷调查.调查显示,教师在课程教学中应用多媒体手段已经普及化,但网络化、信息化程度有待加强,大多教师认同网络教学平台的功能和作用,学校需在政策激励措施、教师引导作用、优质资源建设、平台功能完善等方面促进网络教学平台的使用.  相似文献

本文借助用户体验模型,对高校教师网络教学平台用户体验行为进行实证研究,界定教师网络教学平台用户体验行为由教学管理、资源管理、学生管理、师生交互和教学创新功能使用五个结构性特征构成,并分析了不同群体教师的用户体验行为特征;从教师个体特征、教育技术理念与基础、群体态度倾向、院校制度支持和技术帮助支持五个方面分析了影响教师用户体验行为的主要因素;最后根据相关研究结论提出相应政策改进建议。  相似文献

近十多年来网络教学平台飞速发展,各种平台大量涌现。用户面对众多的平台,因缺乏合适评价指标而无从选择。如何帮助用户根据自身需求选择和分析网络教学平台?笔者在广泛调研国内外网络教学平台发展现状、分析现有评价指标体系的优缺点的基础上,提出从用户体验和教学可用性出发构建网络教学平台的选择和分析模型(SAM)。本研究通过文献调研、理论研究、平台分析与比较以及用户调研确定了该模型9个一级维度、38个二级维度,通过共性指标构建、个性指标构建和最终指标形成三个阶段,确定了272项具体指标,最后构建了五类平台的参考模型。  相似文献

Learning Management Systems (LMS) have become the principal resource for the distribution of educational material and collaboration among lecturers and students in Higher Education. The potential of these platforms does not limit to a simple manager of contents, but they also offer a wide range of tools that support the development of different methodologies according to the learning modality, namely on-campus, blended or online. This work analyzes the use of LMS and the interactions with their different tools from the lecturers’ point of view, in order to detect possible incidents, check the tools’ utility and evaluate their complexity. All these metrics represent valuable information to the Degree Coordinators, if they are presented in a suitable manner, to detect and resolve deficiencies in the methodology. For the analysis of the teaching activity two methods are employed: (1) surveys, to measure the subjective perception of lecturers when using LMS tools; and (2) visual analysis of the real lecturer’s activity through OnlineData, a graphical analytic tool developed as part of our work to monitor LMS tools metrics. Open educational resources (OER) are digitised material freely available to the students and self learners. Many institutions had initiated in incorporating these OERs in their higher educational system, to improve the quality of teaching and learning. These resources promotes individualised study, collaborative learning. If they are coupled with Learning Objects of Learning Management System (LMS), they can lead to opportunities for further pedagogical innovation. It has become increasingly important for educational institutions to support these resources, in a planned and systematic manner. Adapt, assemble and conceptualise existing OERs to respond to diverse learning needs of students and support a variety of learning approaches for a given learning goal is a challenge. In this work, convergence of OERs with Learning Objects is done through metadata using classification techniques. Localisation of these high quality learning materials with the learning content of LMS, delivered as a single instructional unit may help in greater knowledge delivery and this can satisfy the learning needs of diverse student.  相似文献

There are many ICT tools that teachers can use to support teaching and learning. In recent years, Learning Management Systems (LMSs) have been present in most higher education institutions. However, the availability of LMSs in K-12 is more recent. Furthermore, we believe that LMSs are promising even for K-12 teachers in face-to-face learning contexts because they have many educational features that can support learning with students. The goal of this study is 1) to identify the factors that influence the acceptability of the LMS by teachers, 2) to see if teachers’ ICT use influences their intention to use the LMS, and finally 3) to see if teachers’ ICT use influences their perception of the affordances of LMS educational features. The LMS in our study was introduced in a school board of more than 35,000 students and approximately 2400 teachers. To study the acceptability of the LMS, we used the Technology Acceptance Model. The results obtained from the show that the perception of usefulness is a good predictor of the intent to use the LMS. As for ICT use and the affordances of LMS educational features, the results show that they are not a good predictor of the intention to use.  相似文献

In this paper, our aim is to explore the predictors of adoption by students of a Learning Management System (LMS) based on a Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment as well as the influence of active student participation and the interactive usage of an LMS on the achievements of students in a blended learning environment. Our study was conducted on 169 students, who are using an LMS for the first time in their studies, from the largest university from Serbia. Our findings indicate that students' active participation in class has a stronger positive effect on students' achievement than does students' interactive usage of the LMS. A stepwise linear regression analysis revealed that a student's interactive usage of the LMS and his/her active participation in class accounted for 47% of the variation in a student's achievement. A student's interactive usage of the LMS is only affected by his/her perceived easy usage of the LMS.  相似文献

Most universities use Information Systems (IS) to perform their daily administrative activities (student enrollment, data files, accountancy, etc.), and an integrated Learning Management System (LMS) to support teaching and learning. However, although a lot of effort has been put into deploying these computerized systems, the data that they provide are not fully exploited from an educational perspective. In this paper we describe a case in which these data have been used to identify relevant relations between the general use of the LMS, the existence of teaching innovation programs and the quality of education. The method used can be easily generalized and employed in other different contexts, to derive meaningful information on the impact that some variables may have over others.  相似文献

Problem-based learning (PBL) is a student-centered instructional strategy in which students solve problems and reflect on their experiences. Different domains need different approaches in the design of PBL systems. Therefore, we present one case study in this article: A Java Programming PBL. The application is developed as an additional module for the Learning Management System (LMS). 开放与远程教育将来自不同国家或地区的学习者联系起来,通过Internet和学习管理系统(Learning Management System,简称LMS)的支持,学习者可以方便地进行网上交互和学习.学习者网上交互是学习者对所学知识的理解和深化的过程,因此交互成为提高学习质量的重要方式.然而,学习者网上交互受到多个因素的影响.本文以上海电视大学(Shanghai TV University,简称SHTVU)和马来西亚宏愿大学(Wawasan Open University,简称WOU)的学习者为研究对象,并对他们的网上交互进行了比较研究.研究发现了两国学习者网上交互行为的差异,并从国家文化差异、LMS的支持作用和教学模式的设计三个方面分析了差异产生的原因.针对这些原因,我们给出一些建议以帮助提高学习者网上学习的质量.  相似文献

The contemporary era provides several challenges which extend from the reconstitution of an innovative knowledge domain and curricula to candidate learning platforms that support online course delivery methods. Educators and scholars on these demands have recently started to rethink alternative ways for the assimilation of the experiential knowledge in three-dimensional (3D) technologically advanced environments, like 3D multi-user virtual worlds. In spite the widespread dissemination and proliferation of novel educational implications by utilizing 3D multi-user virtual worlds combined with the 2D interface of LMS (Learning Management Systems) and the assessment of the effectiveness based on the online course delivery method in a long-term usability is still absent from the international academic literature. This study presents interoperability issues focused on the utilization of the virtual world Open Simulator (Open Sim) in conjunction with Sloodle (Simulation Linked Object Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) as a free plug-in module. The evaluation of this online learning process according to an empirical research method became possible with the assistance of ninety-five (95) students by two different academic sectors that participated in this project and measured the capabilities and instructional affordances of this platform. The evaluation process was focused on four multi-dimensional parameters (psychological-pedagogical, technical-operational, organizational-financial, and socio-cultural). The study findings based on students’ experiences revealed that both platforms could be sufficiently connected as a unique platform which can increase the users’ learning abilities. This “hybrid” platform can adequately convert the ordinary multi-user virtual world of Open Sim and Sloodle in a common “incubator” of knowledge for online courses at university level. At the end, the instructional affordances and implications for future-driven directions are also discussed.  相似文献
