1语言的任意性对语言学有深远影响的索绪尔是现代语言学的创始人。有人把他称作是语言学之父。他最早提出所指和能指的概念。能指(signifiant,signifier)有人把它译为施指,并提出任意性是语言学的第一原则。索绪尔的跟随者们认为任意性是语言系统建构的基础。这种观点已经为人们所普遍接受,但是现在以王寅为首的越来越多的语言学家对此进行了挑战。 相似文献

＂语言符号＂和其＂所指意义＂之间是否具有理据性,语言学界对此一直存在争论。当前象似性和任意性的分歧就是这一争论的延续,两派分歧的实质是语言符号能指和所指之间是否具有非任意性以及非任意性是否应该处于支配性地位的问题。索绪尔在强调任意性为语言符号的＂第一原则＂的同时,不否定非任意性的存在。象似派认为能指和所指的关系主要是象似性。由于任意性和象似性两种理论所强调的层面不同,以及它们所具有的动态性特征,我们应该以辩证的态度去回答＂哪一方该处于支配性地位＂的问题。 相似文献

自索绪尔提出语言符号的任意性属性,并将其确立为第一原则以来,语言学界从未停止过对该原则的思考、批判甚至否定。本文通过探讨索绪尔语言符号任意性原则的本质属性,指出任意性原则的理解必须弄清索绪尔界定的语言符号的能指和所指以及语言符号本身和符号与符号之间所处的不同层次的关系,从而说明索绪尔对任意性原则的强调,并不等于对符号可论证性的忽略,非任意性的存在并不能构成对任意性的否定。 相似文献

一、简介
隐喻和语言象似性（iconidty）是认知语言学研究的热点。象似性是指语言的能指和所指之间，也即语言的形式和内容之间有一种必然联系，即两者之间的关系是可以论证的，是有理据的（motivated）（赵艳芳2004）。而根据索绪尔的观点，语言的形式和内容之间是任意的（除了个别拟声词外），任意性（arbitrariness）是人类语言与动物声音相区别的一个重要特征（design eature）。那么，语言的能指和所指之间，即语言的形式和内容之间到底是有必然联系的，还是任意的？本文通过对2008年北京奥运会吉祥物福娃的隐喻分析，证明语言的形式与内容之间存在联系。希望这一发现，对其他研究语言学的人有启发作用，并对语言学的发展有所贡献。 相似文献

在索绪尔的语言学中,任意性原则占有十分重要的地位。然而,仔细推敲其对任意性的论述过程,不难发现很多缺陷,如能指和所指之间虽然没有内在联系,但不应理解为没有任何联系的任意性;多种语言对同一所指表现出的多样性不是任意性的表现。而偶然性却能够很好地解释这些,是索绪尔的论述应该得出的结论i、而且偶然性与象似性可以兼容,因此,偶然性可以很好地解决任意性与象似性之争。 相似文献
