赵元任不但是中国现代著名的语言学家,也是中国最早、当时最有影响的综合性民间科学团体———中国科学社的主要发起人之一。1914年,他在康奈尔大学留学期间,与几位中国留学生一起创立中国科学社,创办《科学》月刊。作为社团领导者之一,他克服资金不足等困难,长期积极参与中国科学社的社务,是中国科学社多项活动的积极推动者和国际学术活动中科学社的主要代言人。作为《科学》早期主要的撰稿人之一,他在《科学》上的作品涉及科学、音乐、语言学、哲学等领域,为以自然科学为主的《科学》月刊增添了许多人文色彩。在赵元任等人的积极推动下,中国科学社在中国现代科学贫瘠的土地上播下了希望的种子,与中国数学、物理、化学、天文、生物、农学、工程等学科的建立和发展均有不可分割的联系;它的活动使科学学术交流机制日趋形成,中国科学日益走向国际学界。  相似文献

近代以来,自然科学在各个领域获得的巨大成功使其本身成为"科学标准"的裁量者。人文社会学科研究中自身的科学性是按照自然科学的标准由自然科学赋予和认可的。进入19世纪末20世纪初,社会危机和自然科学的新发现使得自然学科自身的"科学性"面临挑战。本质主义、理性主义受到质疑,人的能动性、非理性主义、相对主义受到追捧。这为人文社会学科研究摆脱对自然科学的依附,建立自己的科学性提供了契机。  相似文献

以《中国学生发展核心素养》中的六大核心素养及其分解出的18个基本要点为依据,对我国教科版及美国Science Fusion小学科学教材低年级生物单元进行了内容分析和比较。结果发现:中美两版教材均体现了六大核心素养,教科版教材比Science Fusion教材更侧重于体现“学会学习”“责任担当”素养,Science Fusion教材比教科版教材更侧重于体现“科学精神”“实践创新”“人文底蕴”“健康生活”素养。在每一项核心素养中,中美两版教材在3个基本要点上的分布有所差异,且选取的内容各有特色。基于此,对我国教科版教材的改进提出了建议。  相似文献

This study aims to analyse, based on common characteristics of the Nature of Science, how first year university Physics textbooks present the introduction of the concept and theories of magnetic field. It shows that despite the increasing number of studies into the Nature of Science in Science Education, Physics textbooks fail to adopt the results of this research. It is proposed that it would be plausible for textbooks to illustrate the characteristics of the Nature of Science by focusing on problems and changes in the development of the theory of magnetic field.  相似文献

考试试题质量是指测验人员所选样本对测试对象属性的测量程度,具体表现为教师编制试题的难易度、信效度以及区分度。本研究随机抽取河西学院2007-2008学年第二学期8个系的16门考试课程为研究样本,对考试结果进行统计分析。结果表明:(1)期末成绩和总评成绩分布大部分呈正态分布,部分考试成绩分布呈现出不对称和尖峰态;(2)期末考试成绩等级上,理科在优秀和良好的比例高于文科在同一等级上的比例,同时,理科在不及格上的比例高于文科。总评考试成绩等级上,理科在优秀和良好的比例高于文科在同一等级上的比例,但是,理科在不及格等级上的比例低于文科,反映出平时成绩对总评成绩的随意性影响;(3)期末试题的难度系数高,试题难度较小,并且文理科和难度系数等级之间的卡方检验无显著的统计学意义;(4)期末试题区分度偏低,并且文理科和区分度系数等级之间的卡方检验无显著的统计学意义。  相似文献

The present study was an exploratory study of Hong Kong secondary school Integrated Science teachers' perceptions of environmental education. Both questionnaire survey and interviews were used. Teachers were classified according to their scores of attitudes, perceived barriers, and current emphasis on teaching environmental education. This study found that Integrated Science teachers' attitudes toward environmental education, skills of teaching environmental education, beliefs in the relevance of Integrated Science to environmental education, and intentions of teaching environmental education in Integrated Science classes were associated with their actual ways of teaching of environmental education. Teachers tended to teach more environmental education if they held more favorable attitudes toward environmental education, had more skills of teaching environmental education, believed more in the relevance of Integrated Science to environmental education, and would actually want to teach more environmental education in Integrated Science classes if there were fewer constraints. Moreover, variations in the teaching of environmental education were reflected by teachers' emphasis on teaching environmental education, and their use of a variety of teaching methods and their regular practices of extracurricular activities on environmental education.  相似文献

基于中国知网,定量分析了《西安文理学院学报》(自然科学版)2005--2007年12月31日的网络传播情况,以为进一步发展提供理论依据.2005--2007年《西安文理学院学报》(自然科学版)访问量逐年递增,累计总访问量达到110954次;访问用户主要来自中国,其中又以国内的高等院校用户为主;自然科学类文献的访问量增长更为显著,社会科学类文献增长相对较慢,占比也同时下降.结果显示网络传播已成为《西安文理学院学报》(自然科学版)的主要传播形式.  相似文献

《孙子兵法》构建了一个精美恢弘的兵学体系。唐代李筌认为《孙子》十三篇的排列顺序即表明它本身有着完整的体系,南宋张预、郑友贤也认识到了《孙子》兵学体系的存在。日本江户时代的山鹿素行从知彼知己、知天知地的角度概括了《孙子》的全部内容,并进而分析了其兵学体系。20世纪40年代以后,萧天石、郭化若等用现代军事学的观点来框定《孙子》兵学体系,吴如嵩、刘庆、赵海军等从范畴出发探索《孙子》兵学体系。  相似文献

Background: There is a growing interest in investigating attitudes towards science and views of Nature of Science among elementary grade students in terms of gender, cultural backgrounds, and grade level variables.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the attitudes toward science and views of Nature of Science among Spanish students, Spanish students of gypsy ethnicity and second-generation Spanish students with east-European heritage, and to determine if their attitudes are related to their views of Nature of Science.

Sample: Data for this study was gathered from seven elementary schools in Spain, forming a convenience sample of 149 students enrolled from 2nd to 5th grade.

Design and Methods: The Nature of Science Instrument (NOSI) and an adaptation of the Test of Science Related Attitudes scale (TOSRA) were used. Follow-up structured interviews were performed with 15 participants.

Results: Regarding gender, boys had better attitudes toward Science than girls but more naïve views of the empirical Nature of Science. In relation to cultural background, second generation Spanish students with east-European heritage reported significantly better attitudes toward Science than Spanish students and Spanish students of gypsy ethnicity. No differences in Nature of Science views were found. Concerning grade level, third graders had more positive attitudes toward Science than fifth and sixth graders and more informed views of the tentative Nature of Science. Finally, no relation between Nature of Science views and attitudes towards Science were identified.

Conclusion: This study stress the need to address the steady decline in positive attitude toward Science and to improve students’ views of Nature of Science from early elementary grades, and to use gender and culturally inclusive science teaching strategies.  相似文献

Basic Science and Technology is a subject that is based on the broad field curriculum which is the foundation for science education in Nigeria at the basic level of education. Pupils learning outcomes is usually limited to the assessment of their achievement in paper pencil test. Pupils’ skills in carrying out scientific investigation and the investigation they carry out is usually not assessed neither is the score part of pupils score in Basic Science and Technology. In this paper, we determined the effect of the integration of assessment of science practicals on basic four pupils’ achievement and problem solving in Basic Science and Technology (basic science, basic technology, and information and communication technology). Participant 303 basic four pupils (primary four) in Odeda local government of Ogun. The result indicated that pupils in the treatment group were better problem solvers in two out of the three themes in Basic Science and Technology (basic science and basic technology). Also pupils in the treatment group had a significantly higher achievement in information and communication technology theme of Basic Science and Technology.  相似文献

本文对目前国内高校电子科学与技术专业开设物理及材料科学类课程的情况进行了调查,结果表明:96%的高校开设了物理及材料科学类的课程,作为必修课的高校占64%,使用通用教材的高校占78%,认为开设此类课程有必要性的高校占95%,认为对学生就业和继续深造有作用的高校为100%。调查结果为电子科学与技术专业教学指导分委员会制定专业规范和发展战略提供了数据依据。  相似文献

课程难度是衡量教科书质量的一个重要数据指标,也定量地呈现了教材内容的难易程度。论文选择大陆《科学》(浙教版)与美国主流教材《科学探究者》,以地球、宇宙与空间科学内容中的"地球、月球和太阳"主题为例,对其课程难度进行定量分析与比较。通过对课程广度、课程深度、课程时间与课程难度系数的定量计算与比较,提出浙教版《科学》教材在该部分的难度相对较适宜,略低于《科学探索者》,这与科学课程实验区认为"地球、宇宙与空间科学"部分内容较难的反馈意见有出落。在课程广度、课程深度的比较与分析中发现,《科学探究者》较之浙教版《科学》具更多知识点,更关注于学生探究活动的设计,切实贯彻了"探究"的理念。  相似文献
