一、奥林匹克主义的涵义
对于奥林匹克主义，有着狭义、广义两种理解。狭义的奥林匹克主义指奥林匹克哲学指导思想，即作为奥林匹克哲学原则的奥林匹克主义。广义的奥林匹克主义则是指整个奥林匹克文化体系，包括奥林匹克思想理论体系和奥林匹克运动的结合和统一。奥林匹克主义的内涵非常丰富：其一，奥林匹克主义是超越竞技运动的，是一种人生哲学、生活哲学；其二，主张以体育运动为载体，通过体育运动对青少年进行身体、心智和精神的教育，培养全面发展和完善的人；其三，通过体育与文化教育的结合，使体育运动为人类和谐发展服务，因此，它的对象不只是那些参加体育运动的人，还包括人民大众。它强调体育的人文价值，目的是将竞技体育运动置于为人的和谐发展服务的位置，以期建成一个和平的、维护人的尊严的社会。如果仅从体育运动的角度，奥林匹克主义的重点在于：以公平竞争为前提，在激烈的竞争中，竭尽全力拼搏奋斗，极大地发挥人的体能、技能知识、智慧，以促进身体、心理和思想品德的和谐而又全面的发展，以推动人类的和平、友好、进步事业。奥林匹克主义的含义有着深远的外延：（1）强调入的全面发展，包括身体、意志、精神的和谐发展，是关于人的全面发展，人类的完善和社会发展的思想、理论和运动；（2）不是单纯就体育论体育而是以体育运动为载体，把体育和文化、教育结合起来，通过体育运动的社会学校对青年进行身体、心智和精神的教育，以培养全面发展的人为目标的世界性的社会活动；是一个改造、完善人类和社会的世界性的宏伟计划，它依靠体育与教育的结合来改造人，实现社会的理想变革； 相似文献
