The Czech Technical University in Prague is one of the oldest establishments of higher technical education in central Europe. This university is divided into six faculties, among them the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FEE). 陈杰院士从人工智能与学科建设的角度,就人工智能发展缘起、对高校学科建设的影响、高校具体推进案例等方面提出了诸多有价值的建议。他指出:当今的人工智能已经超出信息科学本身的研究边界,将赋能传统学科、加速不同学科间的交叉融合,进一步开放各学科的边界,衍生出新的学科增长点,推动交叉学科知识创新发展,形成多学科深度交叉、协同发展的局面。他关注人工智能人才培养,就高校纷纷建立人工智能学院、研究院,开设人工智能专业,建议要结合人工智能的特点,针对人工智能人才需求,加强人工智能基础前沿研究,强调人工智能学科对其他学科的赋能。借鉴美国等发达国家的经验,结合同济大学人工智能学科建设给出了初步的“人工智能+”学科建设的实践路径。  相似文献

The roles of chemical engineers and environmental engineers in the post-socialist society are discussed. Details of the environmental education system at Tallinn Technical University and within its Chemical Engineering Faculty are presented. The importance of teaching the basics of ecology and environmental technology, as well as cleaner technology for chemical engineers are emphasized. The list of specialized courses for chemical engineers interested in environmental problems for undergraduate and postgraduate studies is given and the content of some more important courses characterized. The possible changes to the study plan in connection with transferring to a 4-year BSc curriculum are discussed. The importance of continuing environmental education and cooperation between different universities in the field of environmental education is emphasized.  相似文献

Engineering education has more than 200 years of tradition in Hungary. Chemical engineers are trained at the Technical University of Budapest (TUB) and at the University of Veszprém. The curriculum of the TUB chemical engineering education is given. Undergraduate environmental engineering education is offered at the University of Miskolc, at the Janus Pannonius University in Pécs and at the University of Veszprém. Curricula of the latter two are given. The TUB has several environmental specialization opportunities for engineering students, but at present no separate undergraduate environmental engineering education is offered. Such a curriculum is now under preparation and will be introduced in 1998. Several technical colleges also offer environmental engineering education, where the duration of the training is 3 years. Postgraduate education is a very suitable form to add environmental knowledge to the existing engineering knowledge of graduate engineers. The TUB and the universities in Miskolc and Veszprém are all very active in this field.  相似文献

人工智能正在引领新一轮工业革命,我国该如何培养人工智能本科人才是目前需要面对的迫切问题。文章通过分析麻省理工学院、斯坦福大学和卡内基梅隆大学的人才培养目标、师资与教学资源、课程体系后发现,这3所世界一流大学分别采取了不同的人工智能本科人才培养模式:麻省理工学院的通用型人才,斯坦福大学的通专融合型人才以及卡内基梅隆大学的专业型人才。通过对这三种人工智能本科人才培养模式的比较分析,该研究将为我国人工智能本科人才培养提供重要启示。  相似文献

The programmes offered by both institutions are geared to the application of current technology. All the University of Derby programmes, including the BSc(Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the Higher Technical Institute Diploma in Electrical Engineering, are accredited in the UK at Incorporated Engineer level by the Institution of Incorporated Engineers. Both academic institutions have adopted outcomes-based assessment and this paper examines how this influences the assessment of student learning, and considers the experience gained from quite different approaches used to deliver a similar learning experience.  相似文献

In recent years the British Open University has been providing increasing ICT support to distance learners carrying out projects within the Faculty of Technology and elsewhere in the University. This paper reports three generic support tools: (1) a CD-ROM providing general guidance on planning, carrying out and writing up a final-year undergraduate technology project; (2) the electronic Information Search Guide , designed as a user-friendly front end to a variety of web sites, bibliographic databases, electronic journals and other information sources; and (3) ROUTES (Resources for Open University Teachers and Students), a library service providing access to selected, quality-assessed, Internet resources for Open University courses, searchable by course or keyword. By means of such tools, distance learners can enjoy resources for project work similar (or, in some aspects, even superior) to those of their face-to-face counterparts, including online access to the full text of many journals. This paper reports the current state of (1) and (3), and work in progress on (2). The CD-ROM was designed initially for the comparatively small numbers of students (up to 100 per year) carrying out a final-year, 600-h undergraduate project. It is now offered to many other students taking projects, and is also being developed - as is the Information Search Guide - in support of a new, 300-h project course planned to attract over 1000 students per year. ROUTES currently provides course-specific World Wide Web links for over 100 courses throughout the University, and is expanding rapidly.  相似文献

We will present a case study result from a cross-disciplinary education called Medialogy, which is taught in the Technical and Science Faculty at Aalborg University. The aim of Medialogy is to facilitate creativity within technical solutions. The intention of this paper is to answer the following: how do the Medialogy teachers perceive creativity and how do they facilitate it? Many of the answers point to the pedagogical approach used in problem-based learning, which are perceived as an important element for the creative process. In this paper we will also argue the importance of including the social context (both at a macro and at a micro level) in the definition and use of creativity in engineering education.  相似文献

A system has been developed for measuring the performance of faculty members at Middle East Technical University (METU) in 1998. This system has been designed to provide feedback for improving the quality of academic work. It involves a separate set of criteria and measures for each college within the university. The criteria used for the College of Engineering include publications, editorial work and translation, professional and other research activities, educational activities, memberships and awards, and other activities. Faculty members are recruited based on these criteria. They report their activities and works annually as required by this system, and they can access their measurement results through the university Intranet. These results play a significant role in promotion of the faculty members. Awards are given to faculty members who demonstrate superior performance. This system has also been utilised to measure the efficiency of engineering departments, and guide and support departments in improving their efficiency. Since the beginning of implementation of this system, significant changes have been observed in preferences and activities of faculty members, and their performance. The paper discusses impact of this system on performance of the Engineering College.  相似文献

预应力混凝土变截面连续箱梁是城市景观桥梁建设中较多采用的结构形式。某跨径布置为19m+30m+19m的变截面连续箱梁,两幅布置,中间镂空。上部采用无悬臂单箱七室箱梁,下部采用薄壁式桥台、花瓶墩、钻孔灌注桩基础。桥墩和箱梁外立面施作清水混凝土浇筑的装饰板。装饰板内布置钢筋网,和主梁结构伸出的预埋钢筋相连接。结构验算表明,主梁结构的正截面抗弯承载力、斜截面抗剪承载力、抗裂验算和挠度验算均满足规范要求。变截面连续箱梁景观桥设计时,主体结构按照常规变截面连续梁设计,外立面施工装饰板,既能简化设计过程,又能达到良好的景观效果。  相似文献

Several methodological approaches to improve the understanding and motivation of students in Hydraulic Engineering courses have been adopted in the Agricultural Engineering School at Technical University of Madrid. During three years student's progress and satisfaction have been assessed by continuous monitoring and the use of ‘online’ and web tools in two undergraduate courses. Results from their application to encourage learning and communication skills in Hydraulic Engineering subjects are analysed and compared to the initial situation. Student's academic performance has improved since their application, but surveys made among students showed that not all the methodological proposals were perceived as beneficial. Their participation in the ‘online’, classroom and reading activities was low although they were well assessed.  相似文献

研究采用问卷调查方式,利用SPSS专业数据分析软件,以国防科学技术大学航天科学与工程学院本科高年级、硕士生、博士生为调查对象,从公共基础课、航空航天专业课、必/选修课配置等方面了解学生对本专业本科阶段课程设置的观点。结果表明:学生认为本科阶段修课学时多,选修课较少,人文类和理工类公共基础课程尚不能满足发展需求,专业课实验教学环节仍有待加强,考核评价方式有待改革。  相似文献
