This paper proposes novel conditions based on linear matrix inequalities (LMI) for stability analysis of arbitrarily-fast time-varying delays systems. The time-varying delay interval is divided into smaller pieces in order to obtain an equivalent switched model with multiple time-varying delays of smaller interval, which differently from other existing approaches, the maximum switching frequency is not required for stability analysis. Thus, by the use of augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals and the Finsler’s lemma, together with some relationships among state variables intentionally defined, the inherent conservatism can be progressively reduced by refining more and more the delay partition. The superiority of the proposed method is illustrated through two benchmark examples.  相似文献

This paper investigates the positivity and stability of discrete-time coupled homogeneous systems with time-varying delays. First, an explicit criterion is given for the positivity of discrete-time coupled homogeneous delay systems. Then, by using the properties of homogeneous functions, a sufficient condition is presented for ensuring the stability of the considered systems. Moreover, the obtained result is applied to study the stability of positive singular systems with time-varying delay. It should be noted that it is the first time that the stability result is given for discrete-time coupled homogeneous positive systems with time-varying delays. Two numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the derived results.  相似文献

This paper proposes Discrete Legendre Polynomial(DLP)-based inequality by solving the best weighted approximation of a given time series. The proposed inequality could significantly reduce the conservativeness in stability analysis of systems with constant or interval time-varying delays. Also former well-known integral inequities, such as discrete Jensen inequality, discrete Wirtinger-based inequality, are both included in the proposed DLP-based inequality as special cases with lower-order approximation. Stability criterion with less conservatism is then developed for both constant and time-varying delayed systems. Several numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and benefit of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of global exponential stability for neutral systems with interval time varying delays and nonlinear perturbations. It is assumed that the state delay belongs to a given interval, which means that both the lower and upper bounds of the time-varying delay are available. The uncertainties under consideration are norm-bounded. Based on the Lyapunov–Krasovskii stability theory, delay-partitioning technique and lower bounds lemma, less conservative delay-dependent exponential stability criteria are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) with fewer decision variables than the existing ones. Numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this work, impulsive stabilization problems of discrete-time switched linear systems with time-varying delays are studied. The sequence of impulsive instants is nearly-periodic, i.e., it is close to a periodic impulse and the distance between them is an uncertain bounded term. A time-varying Lyapunov function is introduced to characterize the information of delays, switching signals and impulses, and a stability criterion LMI-based is obtained without any restrictions on the stability of the subsystems. Several design schemes of reduced-order/full-order impulsive controllers with or without time-varying delays are developed. Finally, three numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the established results.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with robust stability analysis of second-order linear time-varying (SLTV) systems with time-varying uncertainties (perturbations). With the specific Lyapunov functions, a simple and neat algebraic criterion for testing uniformly asymptotic stability of SLTV systems are derived. Without transformation to a system of first-order equations, the new conditions are imposed directly on the time-varying coefficient matrices of the system. The main feature of the proposed algebraic criterion is that the uncertain coefficient matrices are time-varying and not necessarily symmetric. Finally, the proposed stability conditions are used to design the extending space structures system of the spacecraft. Simulation results are provided to illustrate the convenience and effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This note focuses on the robust stabilization of discrete-time fuzzy uncertain systems with time-varying delays under a delayed nonparallel distributed compensation scheme. The key idea is twofold: first, the linear matrix inequalities (LMI) proposed here are shown to generalize some previous similar results available in recent literature, and second, the design of control parameters is decoupled from the proposed fuzzy-basis dependent Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (FBDLKF) by means of Finsler?s lemma. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of this method.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of stability analysis for linear systems with time-varying delays is considered. By the consideration of new augmented Lyapunov functionals, improved delay-dependent stability criteria for asymptotic stability of the system are proposed for two cases of conditions on time-varying delays with the framework of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be solved easily by various efficient convex optimization algorithms. The enhancement of the feasible region of the proposed criteria is shown via three numerical examples by the comparison of maximum delay bounds.  相似文献

This paper deals with the exponential boundary stabilization for a class of Markov jump reaction-diffusion neural networks (MJRDNNs) with mixed time-varying delays, which is described by T-S fuzzy model. It is assumed that observed modes in boundary controller are not synchronized with the system modes. Based on a hidden Markov model (HMM), a novel asynchronous boundary control law is developed by using observed modes. Compared with the existing control strategies for distributed parameter systems, the asynchronous boundary control scheme can not only save the cost of the controller installation, but also bring less conservativeness. A delay-dependent sufficient condition to guarantee the exponentially mean square stability is established for T-S fuzzy MJRDNNs with mixed time-varying delays by constructing a Lyapunov functional and utilizing the vector-value Wirtinger-type inequality. Meanwhile, in order to get the designing scheme of the boundary controller, an equivalent LMI-based sufficient criterion is established. In the end, the effectiveness of the proposed results is illustrated by simulation examples.  相似文献

This paper proposes new inequality-based functions to be Lyapunov functionals for the stability analysis of time-varying delay systems. The novel Lyapunov functionals are developed using a slack-matrices-based integral inequality for the first time. This is unlike most inequality-based functions that have been used as Lyapunov functionals which consist of single-matrices in their integral terms. Based on the new Lyapunov functionals, a new stability criterion is derived in the form of a matrix-valued quadratic function, which is proven to be negative definite using a geometry-based negativeness lemma. Two numerical examples showcase the effectiveness of our presented method.  相似文献

The primary goal of this paper is to examine the finite-time stability and finite-time contractive stability of the linear systems in fractional domain with time-varying delays. We develop some sufficient criteria for finite-time contractive stability and finite-time stability utilizing fractional-order Lyapunov-Razumikhin technique. To validate the proposed conditions, two different types of dynamical systems are taken into account, one is general time-delay fractional-order system and another one is fractional-order linear time-varying time-delay system, furthermore the efficacy of the stability conditions is demonstrated numerically.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the stability analysis of linear systems with time-varying delays. First, by introducing the quadratic terms of time-varying delays and some integral vectors, a more suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) is constructed. Second, two new delay-dependent estimation methods are developed in the stability analysis of linear system with time-varying delays, which include a reciprocally convex matrix inequality and an integral inequality. More information about time-varying delays and more free matrices are introduced into the two estimation approaches, which play a key role for obtaining an accurate upper bound of the integral terms in time derivative of LKFs. Third, based on the novel LKFs and new estimation approaches, some less conservative criteria are derived in the form of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Finally, three numerical examples are applied to verify the advantages and effectiveness of the newly proposed methods.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of delay-dependent stability analysis for neural networks with time-varying delays. First, by constructing an augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and utilizing a generalized free-weighting matrix integral inequality, an improved stability criterion for the concerned network is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Second, by considering a marginal augmented vector and modifying a Lyapunov–Krasovsii functional, a further enhanced stability criterion is presented. Third, a less conservative stability condition in which a relaxed inequality related to activation functions is added is introduced. Finally, three numerical examples are included to illustrate the advantage and validity of the proposed criteria.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of non-fragile sampled-data stabilization analysis for a class of linear systems with probabilistic time-varying delays via new double integral inequality approach. Based on the auxiliary function-based integral inequality (AFBII) and with the help of some mathematical approaches, a new double integral inequality (NDII) is developed. Then, to demonstrate the merits of the proposed inequality, an appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF) is constructed with some augmented delay-dependent terms. By employing integral inequalities, an enhanced stability criterion for the concerned system model is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, three benchmark illustrative examples are given to validate the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed results.  相似文献

This paper investigates the adaptive resilient containment control for nonlinear multiagent systems (MASs) with time-varying delay, unmodeled dynamics and sensor faults. To solve the coupling problem of unknown state delays and sensor faults in a nonlower triangular structure, we develop an effective method by using a new lemma and the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. Then, to reduce the negative impact of unknown sensor faults, a novel adaptive resilient containment control method is designed based on a distributed sliding-mode estimator, which can effectively improve the transient performance of the MASs. Moreover, by using a dynamic signal, the problem of unmodeled dynamics is solved. The proposed control scheme can not only drive all followers suffering from sensor faults to converge to the convex hull formed by the leaders but also relatively reduce the undesired chattering phenomenon. Finally, a comparative simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.  相似文献

In this paper, the global robust exponential stability problem for a class of uncertain inertial-type BAM neural networks with both time-varying delays is focused through Lagrange sense. The existence of time-varying delays in discrete and distributed terms is explored with the availability of lower and upper bounds of time-varying delays. Firstly, we transform the proposed inertial BAM neural networks to usual one. Secondly, by the aid of LKF, stability theory, integral inequality, some novel sufficient conditions for the global robust exponential stability of the addressed neural networks are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which can be easily tested in practice by utilizing LMI control toolbox in MATLAB software. Furthermore, many comparisons of proposed work are listed with some existing literatures to get less conservatism. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the advantages and superiority of our theoretical outcomes.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the stability analysis of systems with two additive time-varying delay components in an improved delay interconnection Lyapunov–Krasovskii framework. At first, an augmented vector and some integral terms considering the additive delays information in a new way are introduced to the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF), in which the information of the two upper bounds and the relationship between the two upper bounds and the upper bound of the total delay are both fully considered. Then, the obtained stability criterion shows advantage over the existing ones since not only an improved delay interconnection LKF is constructed but also some advanced techniques such as the free-matrix-based integral inequality and extended reciprocally convex matrix inequality are used to estimate the upper bound of the derivative of the proposed LKF. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness and to show the superiority of the proposed method over existing results.  相似文献

This work investigates the improved stability conditions for linear systems with time-varying delays via various augmented approaches. Some augmented approaches are augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals, augmented zero equalities, and the augmented zero equality approach. At first, by constructing augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals including the state vectors which were not considered in the previous works and augmented zero equalities, a stability criterion is proposed in the forms of linear matrix inequalities. Through the proposed Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals and an additional functional derived from the integral inequality, a slightly improved result is derived. The proposed results do not consider the increase in the computational complexity to achieve a larger delay bound. So, by applying the augmented zero equality approach, which is a method of grafting the proposed augmented zero equality proposed in Finsler Lemma, to the proposed result, an enhanced stability result was derived. Also, the computational complexity is reduced by appropriately adjusting any vector of the integral inequality utilized in the proposed criteria. By applying some numerical examples to the proposed conditions, the effectiveness and superiority of the results are confirmed.  相似文献
