This paper investigates the robustness, uniqueness, sufficient condition and the necessary condition for the minimum error entropy (MEE) estimation. For the robustness aspect, we show that the MEE estimator for a Gaussian nominal model is robust with respect to a relative entropy mismodeling criterion as well as the minimum mean-square error (MMSE) estimations. For the uniqueness aspect, we demonstrate by means of examples that for the singular case, the optimum solution of the MEE estimation will be nonunique. For the sufficient and the necessary condition, the former is established by the independence condition, and the later by score orthogonality condition. A specific example illustrates that the score orthogonality condition is just a necessary condition and not a sufficient one, because if an estimator satisfies the score orthogonality condition, it may be a local minimum or even a local maximum of the error entropy in a certain direction. 相似文献

This paper is concerned with the stabilization problem of singular fractional order systems with order α?∈?(0, 2). In addition to the sufficient and necessary condition for observer based control, a sufficient and necessary condition for output feedback control is proposed by adopting matrix variable decoupling technique. The developed results are more general and efficient than the existing works, especially for the output feedback case. The special case when a polynomial in that class can be factored into a finite product of single variable polynomials is investigated. This paper studies the leader–follower consensus problem of second-order multi-agent dynamical systems with fixed and stochastic switching topologies in a sampled-data setting. A distributed linear consensus protocol is designed to track an active leader, where the current position information of neighbor agents and self-velocity data are utilized. A necessary and sufficient condition is established under fixed and directed topology for reaching consensus, which depends on the sampling period and control gain parameters. A sufficient condition is obtained under the Markov switching topology case. Finally, some numerical simulations are provided to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical results. 相似文献

It is shown that in the case of charged beams of finite dimensions and/or finite electromagnetic wave-guiding structures, the condition v&c/n is a necessary but not a sufficient condition for generation of Cerenkov radiation. Depending upon the modulation, size and geometry of the beams, and dimensions of the wave-guiding structures, selected lines can be eliminated from the radiation spectrum. Since the lines in the spectrum are size and geometry dependent it is suggested that the analysis of the Cerenkov radiation spectrum may be utilized in the determination of sizes and shapes of charged particles. 相似文献
