Some laboratory diffusion tests were conducted with diffusion device to determine the diffusion coefficient of Cr(Ⅵ) ion passing through Dalian red clay samples. The concentrations of Cr(Ⅵ) at different places of the samples were then measured spectrophotometrically after a standing time of 1 000 d. A one-dimensional solute transport equation was used to simulate the transport of Cr(Ⅵ) through clay samples. Back-calculation of diffusion coefficient of Cr(Ⅵ) was made with finite difference method. Parametric analysis was conducted to simulate variations in soil dry density, temperature, pH and standing time. The results show that the method used in this paper is simple and effective. The diffusion coefficient of Cr(Ⅵ) in Dalian red clay varies from 1.50×10-7 cm2/s to 2.08×10-7 cm2/s. After 1 000 d diffusion, the concentration of the source solution drops down to 1.27 mg/L from 62.5 mg/L, and the diffusion distance is only 3.5 cm. Under the assumption that diffusion coefficient is constant, the diffusion effect becomes more obvious with lower density, lower temperature, higher pH value, and much more time.  相似文献

Cr(Ⅵ) and phenol are toxic contaminants that need to be treated,and different methods have been researched to simultaneously remove these two contaminants from industrial wastewater.In this study,Cr(Ⅵ) was used as a novel Fenton-like catalyst in phenol degradation by H_2O_2.In the pH range of 3.0-11.0,the degradation efficiency of phenol decreased with elevated pH.At pH=3.0,100 mg/L phenol was effectively degraded by 2 mmol/L Cr(Ⅵ) and 20 mmol/L H_2O_2.At pH=7.0 and the same conditions as those of pH=3.0,79%of 100 mg/L phenol was removed within 6 h,which was an improvement in pH limitation compared with the Fe(Ⅱ)-mediated Fenton reaction.Quenching experiments indicated that'OH generated from the catalysis of H_2O_2 by Cr(Ⅴ) instead of Cr(Ⅵ) was the primary oxidant that degraded phenol.When pyrophosphate was added in the Cr(Ⅵ)/H_2O_2 system,complexes with the Cr(Ⅴ) intermediate rapidly formed and inhibited H_2O_2 decomposition,implying that the decomposition of H_2O_2 to'OH was catalyzed by Cr(Ⅴ) instead of Cr(Ⅵ).The presence of anions such as chloride and sulfate had insignificant effect on the degradation of phenol.TOC and UV analyses suggest that phenol could not be completely oxidized to CO_2 and H_2O,and the intermediates identified by high performance liquid chromatography further indicates that maleic acid and benzoquinone were intermediates which may be further degraded into short chain acids,primarily maleic,formic,acetic,and oxalic acids,and eventually into CO_2 and H_2O.Considering that more than 50%Cr(Ⅵ) can also be removed during this process,the Cr(Ⅵ)/H_2O_2 system is more appropriate for the simultaneous removal of Cr(Ⅵ) and phenol contaminants from industrial wastewater.  相似文献

The effect of fly ash (FA) and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) on chloride migration through concrete subjected to repeated loading was examined. Portland cement was replaced by three percentages (20%, 30%, and 40%) of mineral admixtures. Five repeated loadings were applied to concrete specimens using a WHY series fully automatic testing machine. The maximum loadings were 40% and 80% of the axial cylinder compressive strength (f′c). Chloride migration through concretes was evaluated using the rapid chloride migration test and the chloride concentration in the anode chamber was measured. The results showed that the replacement percentages of mineral admixtures, the curing time and repeated loading had a significant effect on chloride migration through concrete. The transport number of chloride through concrete cured for 28 d increased with increasing FA replacement and markedly decreased with extension of the curing time. 20% and 30% GGBFS replacement decreased the transport number of chloride through concrete, but 40% GGBFS replacement increased the transport number. Five repeated loadings at 40% or 80% f′c increased the transport number of chloride for all mixes.  相似文献

A new,facile,and efficient way to prepare alkalinized g-C_3N_4 is presented.We calcined a mixture of KCl and melamine to obtain g-C_3N_4,whose in-plane structure was K~+ doped so that alkalinized samples could be obtained by treatment with different concentrations of KOH.The different samples were used to oxidize As(Ⅲ) in both visible light and natural light.The sample treated with 10 mol/L KOH showed the highest efficiency,converting all As(Ⅲ) into As(Ⅴ) within 120 min in both visible light and natural light,as the oxidative capacity of the As(Ⅲ) in the alkalinized samples was significantly higher than that of the original samples.K~+ doping improved the electron transport capacity of the samples,while the alkalinized samples could destroy their edge structures,so as to improve the separation efficiency of the photogenerated carrier.The experiment confirmed that alkalinized g-C_3N_4 significantly improves the oxidation ability of As(Ⅲ) and plays an important role in the photocatalytic treatment of refractory nonmetallic ions.  相似文献

We investigated migration of pollutant at the base of the Suzhou landfill after it had been operated for 13 years. The investigation was carried out by performing chemical analyses on the soil samples taken from the silty clay deposit. Concentrations of chloride, chemical oxygen demand (COD) and the heavy metals in the soil samples were determined using the standard methods. The experimental data showed that the maximum migration depth of chloride was more than 10 m, while the maximum migration depth of COD varied between 1 and 3.5 m. It is believed that the difference is attributed to the variation in diffusion rate and leachate-soil interaction. The chloride profiles also indicated that adveetion may be the dominant contaminant transport mechanism at this site. The total contents ofCu, Pb and Cr are very close to the background levels and the concentration values of these metals mainly are lower than the threshold values specified by the Chinese soil quality standard and the European one. The water-extractable concentrations of COD in the surface of the silty clay generally exceed the limit value specified by the Chinese standard. The concentrations of copper and chromium in pore water are 1-2 orders of magnitude less than the total concentrations of these heavy metals within the soils, implying that heavy metals are mainly adsorbed by the soil particles. Finally, remediation methods were suggested for this landfill site.  相似文献

The effectiveness of vitamin C in treating Cr(Ⅵ)-contaminated water is being evaluated. Cr(Ⅵ) is an identified pollutant of some soils and groundwater. Vitamin C, an important biological reductant in humans and animals, can be used to transform Cr(Ⅵ) to essentially nontoxic Cr(Ⅲ). The removal efficiency was 89% when the mass concentration of vitamin C was 80 mg/L in 60 min, and nearly 100% Cr(Ⅵ) was removed when the mass concentration was 100 mg/L. Our data demonstrated that the removal efficiency was affected by vitamin C concentration, the reaction temperature and the dissolved oxygen concentration.The reaction mechanism of Cr(Ⅵ) by vitamin C was presented. Our study opens the way to use vitamin C to remediate Cr(Ⅵ)-contaminated soils and groundwater.  相似文献

Interfacing and compatibility are the most challenging issues that affect the performance of polymer modified asphalt. Mechanisms of interfacial enhancement among four base asphalt components(asphaltenes, resins, aromatics, and saturate), styrene-butadiene-styrene(SBS), and carbon nanotubes(CNTs) were investigated by molecular dynamics simulation, with the aim of understanding the key parameters that control the compatibility of CNTs and interphase behavior on the molecular scale. The compatibility of SBS-modified asphalt(SBSMA) was simulated based on self-assembly theory using indexes of binding energy, mean square displacement, diffusion coefficient, and relative concentration distribution. The interphase behavior and microstructure were observed by fluorescence microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. In addition, a rutting experiment was used to verify the molecular dynamics simulation based on macroscopic performance. The results showed that after adding CNTs, the binding energy of the SBS and aromatics increased from 301.8343 to 327.1102 kcal/mol. The diffusion coefficient of the SBS and asphaltenes decreased more than 3.2×10-11 m2/s, and the correlation coefficients between the diffusion coefficient and the molecular weight, surface area and volume were all lower than 0.3. Relative concentration distribution curves indicated that CNTs promote the ability of SBS to swell. Microscopic observations demonstrated that the swelling ability of SBS was increased by CNTs. Overall, the interphase of SBSMA was improved by the additional reinforcement, swelling, and diffusion provided by CNTs. Finally, the rutting experiment found that no matter what the temperature, the rutting factor of CNT/SBSMA is higher than that of SBSMA, which corroborates the findings from the molecular dynamics simulations.  相似文献

The purpose of this research is to investigate the potential of pre-treatment with phosphoric acid(PA) and monobasic calcium phosphate(MCP) for the stabilization of heavy metals in sludge and its bottom ash.The tannery sludge samples were collected in Wenzhou,China and heavily contaminated with heavy metals,such as Pb,Cr and so on.The samples were pre-treated with PA or MCP.Then XRD and TCLP tests were adopted as the evaluating methods to characterize the Pb,Cr,Cu,Zn and Cd immobilization in the pre-treated sludge and its bottom ash.The results showed that this treatment effectively immobilized Pb and Cd in the sludge,lightly stabilized the metal Cu,and adversely,enhanced the leachability of Zn.After incineration at 900℃,Pb and Cr in the bottom ash of pre-treated sludge were significantly stabilized due to the formation of their highly thermostable phosphates and pyromorphite-like minerals during the incineration process.However,an increase of Cu and Zn solubility was observed which might be attributable to the acidification of sludge due to the addition of PA or MCP.  相似文献

Groundwater remediation by nanoparticles has收稿日期increasing interest in recent years. This report presents a thorough evaluation of hexavalent chromium removal in aqueous solutions using iron (Fe0) nanoparticles. Cr(Ⅵ) is a major pollutant of groundwater. Zero-valent iron, an important natural reductant of Cr(Ⅵ), is an option in the remediation of contaminated sites, transforming Cr(Ⅵ) to essentially nontoxic Cr(Ⅲ). At a dose of 0.4 g/L, 100% of Cr(Ⅵ) (20 mg/L) was degraded. The Cr(Ⅵ) removal efficiency decreased significantly with increasing initial pH. Different Fe0 type was compared in the same conditions. The reactivity was in the order starch-stabilized Fe0 nanoparticles>Fe0 nanoparticles>Fe0 powder>Fe0 filings. Electrochemical analysis of the reaction process led to the conclusion that Cr(OH)3 should be the final product of Cr(Ⅵ). Iron nanoparticles are good choice for the remediation of heavy metals in groundwater.  相似文献

Pathological Voice Classification Based on Features Dimension Opti mization   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The classification of pathological voice from healthy voice was studied based upon 27 acoustic features derived from a single sound signal of vowel /a:/. First, the feature space was transferred to reduce the data dimension by principle component analysis (PCA). Then the voice samples were classified according to the reduced PCA parameters by support vector machine (SVM) using radial basis function (RBF) as a kernel function. Meanwhile, by changing the ratio of opposite class samples, the accuracy under different features combinations was tested. Experimental data were provided by the voice database of Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (MEEI) in which 216 vowel /a:/ samples were collected from subjects of healthy and pathological cases, and tested with 5 fold cross-validation method. The result shows the positive rate of pathological voices was improved from 92% to 98% through the PCA method. STD, Fatr, Tasm, NHR, SEG, and PER are pathology sensitive features in illness detection. Using these sensitive features the accuracy of detection of pathological voice from healthy voice can reach 97%.  相似文献

Date pits for feed preparation or oil extraction are soaked in water to soften before milling or extrusion. Knowledge of water absorption by the date pits helps in better managing the soaking duration. In this research, the process of water absorption by date pits was modeled and analyzed using Fick's second law of diffusion, finite element approach, and Peleg model. The moisture content of the pits reached to its saturation level of 41.5% (wet basis) after 10 d. The estimated coefficient of diffusion was 9.89×10-12 m2/s. The finite element model with a proposed ellipsoid geometry for a single date pit and the analytical model fitted better to the experimental data with R2 of 0.98. The former model slightly overestimated the moisture content of the pits during the initial stages of the soaking and the latter model generally underestimated this variable through the entire stages of soaking process.  相似文献

A 3D ultrasound thermal model with a 3D finite element representation for modeling the thermal diffusion effects for hepatic ablation induced by spherical-section ultrasound phased array was developed. The model was first validated against available published measured data in rat liver. Using the validated model,effects of blood perfusion and heating schemes on lesion formation were studied for both single focus and split-focus intensity patterns. It was shown that for single focus sonication pattern the short-duration(~2 s) and high-intensity(~1250 W/cm2) heating scheme can completely reduce the cooling effect of the blood perfusion. The lesion shape and size were significantly altered by perfusion for split-focus pattern even with a rapid heating scheme when the focus spacing was larger than 2.4 mm. Underdosed areas might be present between two foci. Prolonging ex-posure time or shortening focus spacing can reduce the cool region between two foci. In addition,the influences of thermal and acoustic parameters were also studied. When the therapy depth is short(<5 cm) ,the lesion size monotonically increases with increasing attenuation coefficient that ranges from 5.4 to 11 Np/(m?MHz) .  相似文献

In this work, semi-analytical methods were used to solve the problem of 1-D consolidation of non-homogeneous soft clay with spatially varying coefficients of permeability and compressibility. The semi-analytical solution was programmed and then verified by comparison with the obtained analytical solution of a special case. Based on the results of some computations and comparisons with the 1 -D homogeneous consolidation (by Terzaghi) and the 1 -D non-linear consolidation theory (by Davis et al.) of soft clay, some diagrams were prepared and the relevant consolidation behavior of non-homogeneous soils is discussed. It was shown that the result obtained differs greatly from Terzaghi's theory and that of the non-linear consolidation theory when the coefficients of permeability and compressibility vary greatly.  相似文献

To study the influence of slenderness on the axial compressive performance of autoclaved fly ash solid brick masonry columns, compression experiments were conducted on 12 samples of autoclaved fly ash solid brick masonry column and 4 samples of fired clay brick masonry column. The damage patterns and compressive performance were compared and analyzed. The experimental results indicate that the compressive bearing capacity decreases as slenderness increases from 3 to 18, and the compressive bearing capacity of the autoclaved fly ash solid brick masonry columns is lower than that of the fired clay brick masonry columns. The formulae for the axial compressive bearing capacity of autoclaved fly ash solid brick masonry columns were derived based on the experiments. The nonlinear FEA program ANSYS was adopted to simulate the behaviors of masonry columns. By comparing the simulation results and experimental results, it is shown that the simulation results agree well with the experimental ones. The rationality and applicability of the simulation results were verified.  相似文献

Experiments were conducted using cohesionless sand particles with median diameter of 0.48 mm to investigate the time variation of sediment transport rate under the influence of local downward seepage.The experimental results show that the bedload transport rate in terms of volumetric sediment transport rate per unit width increased rapidly with time in the presence of suction,eventually reaching a peak beyond which it started to decrease.The trend of reduction was significantly reduced beyond 8 400 s after the test started.The analytical expression was derived in terms of dimensionless sediment transport rate and dimensionless time.The hypothesized relationships were compared with the experimental data,indicating a good agreement with each other.  相似文献

A specialised electrochemical measurement cell was plugged into a pilot water distribution system to simulate the pipe inner-wall corrosion. The linear polarisation resistance(LPR) technique and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) were measured in real time to study the variation of the corrosion rate(CR) and scale of cast iron. Three corrosion stages were observed according to the LPR analysis: an initial stage with significantly fluctuating CR, a developmental stage with slowly decreasing CR, and a stable stage with a low CR of approximately 0.157 5 mm·a~(-1). The EIS revealed that the scales with a compact outer layer and a porous inner layer finally formed in the stable stage, and the polarisation resistance was approximately 2 175 ?·cm~2. A physicochemical analysis of the scales showed that ferric oxides, oxyhydroxides and calcite made the outer layer compact and effectively limited the diffusion of oxygen through the scales, which resulted in a low CR.  相似文献

There exists a critical cyclic stress ratio when sand or clay is subjected to cyclic loading. It is an index distinguishing stable state or failure state. The soil static and dynamic universal triaxial and torsional shear apparatus developed by Dalian University of Technology in China was employed to perform different types of tests on saturated soft marine clay in the Yangtze estuary. Undisturbed samples were subjected to undrained cyclic vertical and torsional coupling shear and cyclic torsional shear after three-directional anisotropic consolidation with different initial consolidation parameters. The effects of initial orientation angle of major principal stress, initial ratio of deviatoric stress, initial coefficient of intermediate principal stress and stress mode of cyclic shear on the critical cyclic stress ratio were investigated. It is found that the critical cyclic stress ratio decreases significantly with increasing initial orientation angle of major principal stress and initial ratio of deviatoric stress. Compared with the effects of the initial orientation angle of major principal stress and initial ratio of deviatoric stress, the effect of initial coefficient of intermediate principal stress is less evident. Under the same consolidation condition, the critical cyclic stress ratio from the cyclic coupling shear test is lower than that from the cyclic torsional shear test, indicating that the stress mode of cyclic shear has an obvious effect on the critical cyclic stress ratio. The main reason is that the continuous rotation in principal stress directions during cyclic coupling shear damages the original structure of soil more than the cyclic torsional shear does.  相似文献

In order to satisfy the demand of land use, reclamation engineering has been undertaken in coastal cities for a long time. To study the contaminant transport in the reclamation districts, robust and accurate estimation of dispersion coefficient is essential. In this study, the continuous sodium chloride (NaC1) solution with constant concentration was introduced into the column filled with the dredger fill to get the breakthrough curves (BTCs). Inverse error function method (IEFM) and CXTFIT program were used for estimating dispersion coefficient. Results showed that the difference between the dispersion coefficients estimated by IEFM and CXTFIT program was slight. The main reason was that the BTC was not strictly linear. IEFM performed poorly in the nonlinear area, while the CXTFIT performed well over the entire BTCs. Moreover, the dispersion coefficient of dredger fill was small. The dispersion property of dredger fill would result in the slow migration of contaminants in the dredger fill.  相似文献

An equivalent visco-elastic model of saturated soft clay was studied under unconsolidated undrained (UU) condition, which can be used to evaluate the stability of ocean foundation. Cyclic triaxial compression and extension tests were conducted to study the parameters of the model. Results showed that the relationships of the damping ratio and the octahedral shear modulus with the octahedral cyclic shear strain were nearly unique, when the initial octahedral shear stress ratios of specimens were equal to 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7. The relationships of the damping ratio and the octahedral shear modulus with the octahedral cyclic shear strain determined from the cyclic triaxial compression tests were basically the same as those determined from the cyclic triaxial extension tests. Furthermore, the relationships were not related to the initial stress condition, the test stress state and the octahedral cyclic shear stress ratio. The relationships determined from the cyclic triaxial tests under no deviatoric stress were basically the same as those determined from the cyclic triaxial tests under deviatoric stress. The change of the octahedral cyclic accumulative strain with the number of cycles was unique under different tests stress states. An equivalent visco-elastic constitutive model of saturated soft clay under UU condition was initially established.  相似文献
