<正>"Ode to the West Wind" written by Percy Bysshe Shelley is an excellent romantic poem in the 19th century and the best lyric of the poet. In the poem Shelley expresses his great love for nature, praises the West Wind for its spirit of destroying old things and being pregnant with new things. By evoking the great force of the West Wind, he expresses his determination to fight against dying things and disseminate new ideas with his Poetry. Jane Austen’s posthumously published novel Persuasion has been regarded as a foreshadowing of Romanticism, especially in its autumnal tone that has inherent intimacy with John Keats’s To Autumn and Percy Bysshe Shelley’s Ode to the West Wind. Blending the stylistic disparities in the two Romanticist poems, Persuasion ’s autumnal sensation changes its colors from being tinged with Keats’s melancholy to the touch of Shelley’s animation. "Beauty is truth, truth beauty"-the famous line in English romantic poet John Keats’Ode on a Grecian Urn-has triggered wide discussion and numerous interpretations. From the point of"negative capability", a phrase first coined by Keats himself, this paper is attempting to display the consistency between that poetic line and the poet’s creation and life attitude on the whole. For this purpose, this paper will mainly introduce and interpret five of Keats’famous odes in the order of their display of his"rising acceptance of life": Ode to a Nightingale, Ode on a Grecian Urn, Ode to Autumn, Ode on Melancholy and Ode on Indolence. This paper would like to show in the first three Keats’s positive quest in different aspects and on certain levels, the fourth the underlying tone of life’s polyphonous song, and the final the"negative capability"that constitutes his healthy attitude toward creation and life. From the case study of Evening Bell Ringing at Nanping Hill,one of the West Lake Cultural Landscapes in Hangzhou,China,we investigated the soundscape of a scenic area with a profound cultural background.First,we conducted the soundscape physical index of the area in both winter and spring seasons to analyze its objective graphical expression.Second,we focused on people’s reactions to the soundscape in order to obtain a subjective evaluation of each component in the soundscape and integrated environment.Then,the relationship between the objective data and the subjective evaluation was analyzed.Finally,the impacts of the natural environment,history,and cultural factors on the evaluation of the Jingci Temple soundscape were studied.It was found that natural sounds,cultural sounds,and historic sounds were widely acclaimed in people’s subjective feelings,which indicated the close relationships among historical and cultural background,soundscape,and natural environment.Thus,the conclusion was made that soundscape should be consistent with the local natural environment and the historical and cultural background. 相似文献
