数字图书馆服务质量的好坏对于图书馆建设以及用户使用效果的提升,具有重要的应用意义,因此结合层次分析法(AHP)和支持向量机(SVM)对数字图书馆服务质量评价进行研究.采用支持向量机建立数字图书馆服务信息分类模型,获取符合数字图书馆服务质量评价标准的服务信息集,依据这些服务信息集,采用层次分析法确定数字图书馆服务质量评价目标,构建评价指标体系模型,通过层次分析法中几何平均法计算指标权重、构建判断矩阵,通过评价人员对评价指标进行打分,得出的分数再乘以权重,获取服务质量评价的最终得分.结果表明,AHP-SVM的数字图书馆服务信息分类准确率较高,达到了95%,服务质量评价准确度为98%,用户满意度较高,数字图书馆服务质量评价效果佳.  相似文献

在总结以往数字图书馆绩效评价指标体系的基础上,结合数字图书馆评价指标体系的特点,提出运用层次分析法和模糊数学方法进行评价是最为简单易行而且科学的方法,建立了一个关于数字图书馆绩效的评价模型,并给出了用层次分析法确定指标权重和模糊综合评价方法的实施步骤,对数字图书馆的绩效评价研究具有实用性和可操作性。  相似文献

[目的/意义]旨在为数字图书馆的发展提供参考。[方法/过程]通过分析数字图书馆馆藏资源共享评价体系构建的必要性,提出了评价体系构建原则;依次按总体设计、结构模型、递阶层次结构建立、判断矩阵构建及一致性检验、合成权重及层次总排序确定数字图书馆馆藏资源共享评价指标,利用神经网络评价方法对确定的指标进行评价,以完成整个数字图书馆馆藏资源共享评价体系的构建。[结果/结论]构建了数字图书馆馆藏资源共享评价体系,为数字图书馆共建共享活动提供基础和保证,促使资源共享扩大,推动了图书馆资源共享事业的发展。  相似文献

以ISI的Web of Science数据库为数据来源,采用共词方法分析数字图书馆领域的研究主题和研究进展及趋势.分析结果表明,数字图书馆领域的研究主题主要为数字图书馆信息组织和描述标准研究、数字图书馆技术研究两个部分.目前,在信息组织和描述标准方面,元数据和本体依然是研究的热点;而在技术方面,除了信息检索这个贯穿数字图书馆领域的研究内容,用户界面和用户研究成为近两年来的热点.此外,对学习对象和数字仓储的研究、数字图书馆教育和评价研究也成为近两年来研究者关注的热点.  相似文献

首先简要分析云计算平台的基本特征、技术优势及其在数字图书馆中的应用。之后,基于"面向全国的广播电视大学数字图书馆建设项目"的研究成果,结合云计算平台、SOA、VPN等技术,提出一种新型的分布式数字图书馆构架模型。本文详细介绍该架构模型的主要组成部分、层次结构、关键技术及其与现有数字图书馆系统的融合等内容,并将其应用到全国广播电视大学数字图书馆的建设中进行验证。该系统能够通过服务注册和开放API机制,动态整合地理位置分布的图书馆资源和服务,以满足不同层次和规模的用户需求。  相似文献

中国生态文明综合评价及环境、经济与社会协调发展研究   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
以生态文明理论为核心,以系统间耦合协调发展为导向,运用层次分析法和主成分分析法,研究建立了环境保护、经济发展与社会进步三大子系统,12个要素,64个指标因子的生态文明综合评价体系,并以此为依据进行系统间协调发展度的研究,从全国和省域两个尺度分析中国生态文明建设和协调发展的时空演化规律。运用1990-2010年全国尺度的时序数据进行分析,表明21年间中国生态文明建设水平持续提高,环境与经济、社会之间的协调发展能力不断加强。以中国省域为对象,定量研究其生态文明建设水平和协调发展度的空间分布规律,评价结果显示各省份存在着显著的区域差异,协调发展度基本呈现东部地区高于中西部地区的格局,但生态文明指数的空间分布状况并不完全符合东高西低的特征,并依据评价结果将中国31个省份划分为5个不同的发展类型,提出了有针对性的政策建议。  相似文献

This study aims to explore the relationships between user interaction and digital libraries (DLs) evaluation. User interaction is a multi-dimensional construct and recognized as three dimensions in this study, as user interaction with: information resource; interface; and, tasks. DL evaluation is considered from the user's perspective and defined as users’ perception of DL performance from different perspectives, including the support of DL's interaction design to user interaction (labeled as interaction-design-based (IDB) evaluation), the support of task completion (labeled as task-based evaluation), and a DL's overall performance (labeled as overall evaluation). An experiment with 48 participants was conducted using the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI (http://cnki.net/), the most widely used digital library in China). Participants searched for four simulated work tasks and one real work task during the experiment, subsequently evaluating their interaction with information resource, interface, and tasks, and DL performance from different perspectives before or after the search. Correlation analysis and stepwise regression analysis were conducted to examine the relationships. The results indicate that a list of factors related to different dimensions of user interaction can significantly predict or be correlated to users’ evaluation of DL performance from different perspectives, including appropriateness, rich and valid links, reasonable page layout, salience of topics, search task difficulty, well-organized web site, easy to learn, accessibility, usefulness, familiarity with task procedure, etc. These factors surface as the most critical criteria for DL evaluation. Based on the results, an integrated DL evaluation framework is developed. The study adds new knowledge about how tasks affect DL evaluation. It has implications for improving the efficiency of DL evaluation and helping DL developers design DLs to better support users’ interaction, task completion, and their overall experience with DLs.  相似文献

Personalization can be addressed by adaptability and adaptivity, which have different advantages and disadvantages. This study investigates how digital library (DL) users react to these two techniques. More specifically, we develop a personalized DL to suit the needs of different cognitive styles based on the findings of our previous work [Frias-Martinez, E., Chen, S. Y., & Liu, X. (2008) Investigation of behavior and perception of digital library users: A cognitive style perspective. International Journal of Information Management]. The personalized DL includes two versions: adaptive version and adaptable version. The results showed that users not only performed better in the adaptive version, but also they perceived more positively to the adaptive version. In addition, cognitive styles have great effects on users’ responses to adaptability and adaptivity. These results provide guidance for designers to select suitable techniques to develop personalized DLs.  相似文献

In this article, we elaborate on the meaning of quality in digital libraries (DLs) by proposing a model that is deeply grounded in a formal framework for digital libraries: 5S (Streams, Structures, Spaces, Scenarios, and Societies). For each major DL concept in the framework we formally define a number of dimensions of quality and propose a set of numerical indicators for those quality dimensions. In particular, we consider key concepts of a minimal DL: catalog, collection, digital object, metadata specification, repository, and services. Regarding quality dimensions, we consider: accessibility, accuracy, completeness, composability, conformance, consistency, effectiveness, efficiency, extensibility, pertinence, preservability, relevance, reliability, reusability, significance, similarity, and timeliness. Regarding measurement, we consider characteristics like: response time (with regard to efficiency), cost of migration (with respect to preservability), and number of service failures (to assess reliability). For some key DL concepts, the (quality dimension, numerical indicator) pairs are illustrated through their application to a number of “real-world” digital libraries. We also discuss connections between the proposed dimensions of DL quality and an expanded version of a workshop’s consensus view of the life cycle of information in digital libraries. Such connections can be used to determine when and where quality issues can be measured, assessed, and improved – as well as how possible quality problems can be prevented, detected, and eliminated.  相似文献

Awareness has been extensively studied in human computer interaction (HCI) and computer supported cooperative work (CSCW). The success of many collaborative systems hinges on effectively supporting awareness of different collaborators, their actions, and the process of creating shared work products. As digital libraries are increasingly becoming more than just repositories for information search and retrieval – essentially fostering collaboration among its community of users – awareness remains an unexplored research area in this domain. We are investigating awareness mechanisms in CiteSeer, a scholarly digital library for the computer and information science domain. CiteSeer users can be notified of new publication events (e.g., publication of a paper that cites one of their papers) using feeds as notification systems. We present three cumulative user studies – requirements elicitation, prototype evaluation, and naturalistic study – in the context of supporting CiteSeer feeds. Our results indicate that users prefer feeds that place target items in query-relevant contexts, and that preferred context varies with type of publication event. We found that users integrated feeds as part of their broader, everyday activities and used them as planning tools to collaborate with others.  相似文献
