In this paper, a product model in conceptual design, Domain Structure Template, is proposed, which combines the functional domain and the physical domain with the behaviour domain. Seven types of primary mappings units connecting functions, behaviours and carriers during conceptual design process are identified according to the characteristics of the conceptual design of mechanical products.Based on these seven primary mappings, a hierarchical functional reasoning framework characterizing the process of conceptual design is presented. A case study for the conceptual design of industry sewing machines with chain-stitch is described to demonstrate the product modelling and the scheme generation based on the presented model.  相似文献

This article presents a set of recommendations for the design and learning uses of conceptual models. A conceptual model is a kind of learning object specifically designed to serve conceptual learning. The author discusses a particular conceptual model and its design and application in learning in the context of school geography fieldwork. The recommendations that follow were developed through engagement with teachers and students involved in designing and using the conceptual model. These recommendations include designs for observation, analytical use, experimentation, thinking, and reuse. These should prove especially useful for designers of educational multimedia and teachers involved in the planning of learning tasks where conceptual models are utilized.  相似文献

This paper discusses a set of recommendations for the presentation design of “conceptual model” learning objects. A conceptual model is a learning object designed to support conceptual learning. Often, it is interactive and multimodal and allows a learner to examine and interrogate displayed content. Presentation design is concerned primarily with the arrangement of content and screen design features that are optimized for educational purpose. The paper presents the following set of recommendations for presentation design: present information visually, design for interaction, design a holistic scenario, design for a single screen, design for small space, use audio and video only if they are the only option, use color in moderation, avoid unnecessary decorative elements, design with a single font, and use frames to logically divide the screen area. The recommendations were explicated from a study that involved a review of a collection of conceptual models by a team of five independent reviewers. These recommendations should prove useful to designers of educational multimedia resources.  相似文献

Axiomatic design (AD) and theory of inventive problem solving (TRIZ) are widely used in conceptual design. Both of them have limitations, however. We presented an integrated model of these two methods to increase the efficiency and quality of the problem solving process for conceptual design. AD is used for systematically defining and structuring a problem into a hierarchy. Sometimes, the design matrix is coupled in AD which indicates the functional requirements are coupled. TRIZ separation principles can be used to separate non-independent design parameters, which provide innovative solutions at each hierarchical level. We applied the integrated model to the heating and drying equipment of bitumen reproduction device. The result verifies that the integrated model can work very well in conceptual design.  相似文献

为提升用户对植保无人机的满意度,基于Kano?AHP 模型提出一种农用植保无人机的创新设计方案。系统集成卡诺模型(Kano)和层次分析法(AHP)的优势,明确了无人机各个模块的需求及其重要程度,在Kano 模型中对需求权重进行功能分析和排序,得到各评价指标。最后对产品方案收集到的数据构建判断矩阵,完成检验与评估,确定了最佳设计方案。结果表明:Kano-AHP 模型能够有效地映射从需求分析到功能设计的有效反馈,这在一定程度上弥补了传统产品设计依赖主观经验进行设计的不足,使产品设计更具科学性与有效性。  相似文献

Conceptual conflict has long been recognized as a factor that could facilitate student learning. Due, however, to the lack of a convincing explanation of why it occurs, and how it can be resolved, it has seldom been used in instructional design. Its potential use in instruction is particularly relevant in the light of the recent, well-documented finding that students' existing conceptions frequently constitute a barrier to effective learning. This article examines conceptual conflict in the light of an epistemological model of learning as conceptual change. This analysis shows that the conceptual change model provides an explanation of conceptual conflict which is sufficiently detailed to allow it to be used in the design of instruction. The results of two studies, the first of which addressed the concepts of mass, volume, and density, and the second, the concept of speed, show that instruction, designed in this way, is effective in changing students' existing conceptions.  相似文献

This study explores the effect of a conceptual change text on students?? awareness of common misconceptions on the particle model of matter. The conceptual change text was designed based on principles of text comprehensibility, of conceptual change instruction and of instructional approaches how to introduce the particle model. It was evaluated in an empirical study with 214 students. Students?? learning was measured with a pre?Cpost-test design. Item response theory was used for analysing students?? answers. We found that reading the criteria-based text fostered students?? awareness of common misconceptions about the particle model and yielded overall improved results as compared to reading a traditional text.  相似文献

Workplace motivation historically has been an HR function, with ID as a training function. This division produces a split between motivation and training, leaving them isolated from one another. Intervention design needs to include motivation throughout its phases, to maximize motivating opportunities for performance improvement. The current models included in instructional design texts and resources are important, but tend to lack some characteristics that would make them more useful and productive for designers. The purpose of this paper is to present a theoretical and conceptual framework for the devel‐opment of a new model of motivation for intervention design that is current, comprehensive, integrative, and flex‐ible. To that end, we (1) review the key points of the call for such a model; (2) present a framework for such a model; (3) offer a conceptual prototype for a model to meet designer's needs and include perspectives from experts in instructional design and performance technology, including how it fills out an integrative theoretical base of motivation for the field; and (4) present future development implications for the field.  相似文献
