高校群体间存在冲突是一种客观现实。这些冲突具体体现为:由行政与学术二元权力并存产生的行政群体和教师群体间的冲突;由于学科分层导致的不同学科教师群体之间的冲突;由教育角色不同导致的教育者与受教育者之间的冲突。这些冲突既可能成为高校内部的破坏性力量,也有可能演化为高校内部的建设性力量。我们必须正视这些冲突,促进高校的和谐发展。 相似文献

Recent studies indicate particularly high incidence rates of bulimia nervosa among college students. In this paper the special need to services to identity, treat and prevent bulimia nervosa on college campuses is discussed. Eight general principles about the nature of bulimia, its prevalence in society, and sociocultural factors which promote the disorder are presented to help guide the development of effective services. Potential resources available on campus that can provide needed services are identified along with target groups toward which the services should be directed. Included among the resources are the faculty, residence hall personnal, and medical and mental health professionals on the staff. The need for educational, referral, and support services as well as treatment services is emphasized. The benefits of a campus committee to oversee the development and coordination of campus services are also discussed. 相似文献

A national study of 128 deaf and hard-of-hearing adults aged 18 to 70 years found that they are willing to pay as much as $15 per month for new telephone-based information services, in part because they are frustrated with what they regard as inadequate access to the nation's telecommunications network. The services they most want are "enhanced 911," fire, police, and other life and safety services. A majority wants the telecommunications network equipped with speech recognition capabilities as soon as the state-of-the-art permits, so that they can gain full access to network-based services. These findings suggest that changes in the national telecommunications policy might enhance the lives of deaf and hard-of-hearing adults. Policy changes might also permit them, as well as younger deaf Americans, to benefit more from the recently enacted Americans with Disabilities Act and to benefit more from other rights and services promoting access to work, education, and independent living. 相似文献

Recent research has suggested that psychologists could reframe counseling services as coaching in order to increase the use of psychological services by the general public. This study explored the differential impact of the terminology suggested by replacing the term counseling with the term coaching when assessing college students' expectations about and intentions to seek psychological services. Results indicated that students in general had similar expectations for directiveness, motivation, outcome, or intentions to seek psychological services regardless of terminology used to describe the services. 相似文献

A survey was conducted among special education administrators in 1,450 local education agencies (LEAs) nationwide, to determine the availability of vocational programs and transition-oriented services for handicapped youth. Results showed that most LEAs offer at least some vocational programs; transition-oriented services as not as frequently available, particularly in smaller LEAs. In addition to size of LEA, community employment opportunities and the availability of adult services were related to whether an LEA offered any transition-related services. 相似文献

为了促使公共服务持续、稳定发展,保障公民在公共服务中的权益,完善我国公共服务救济制度显得尤为重要。我国目前公共服务救济制度存在诸多问题,而西方国家经过多年发展积累了丰富经验,对我国有重要启示意义。为此迫切需要借鉴西方经验完善我国的公共服务救济制度,主要思路有:全面扩大公共服务救济范围、强化公共服务侵权救济力度以及探索新的便捷、高效救济途径。 相似文献
