Some theories of family psychotherapy and adolescent development are reviewed. The suitability of family and couples techniques for brief psychotherapy with college students is discussed. Four cases are described in which family psychotherapy techniques were used with college students. In each, these techniques were used in conjunction with ongoing individual psychotherapy. The participants in conjoint sessions were either family members or close friends. Determination of participants in conjoint sessions, benefits of family psychotherapy techniques, and the use of dreams are discussed. Suggestions are offered on when to use family psychotherapy techniques with college students. 相似文献

Visualization techniques involving the analysis of pictorial information (e.g., photographs, paintings, and geometric forms) are used to guide students' understanding of the composing process. For the first exploratory study sets of papers written by students enrolled in an introductory level composition course incorporating these techniques were compared with sets of papers written by students in another section of the same course to determine the effectiveness of visualization for understanding the process of revision. Students in a second study completed a questionnaire designed to assess students' memory for visualization techniques as well as their tendency to apply these techniques to new situations. The results suggest that visualization techniques were effective in guiding the revision process (Study 1). Further, results show that students remembered both specific details about the pictorial information used to guide the composing process (outlining, analyzing, revising) and the underlying principles informing these techniques (Study 2). Visualization techniques are discussed in terms of their potential usefulness in reducing the cognitive demands implicit in the composing process. 相似文献

Cinematic techniques are used to induce biased interpretations of historical videos. Therefore, awareness of these techniques is necessary when working with videos as historical sources. Two studies investigated the effects of training and cueing on the analysis of propaganda. Whereas training benefitted the identification and interpretation of cinematic techniques in propaganda, cueing cinematic techniques on a category level (e.g., camera angle) resulted in less specific analyses with regard to identifying the techniques and hardly affected the interpretation of the techniques' effects. In contrast, more specific manifestation cues (e.g., low angle shot) resulted in more specific analyses and positively affected giving correct interpretations of the cinematic techniques' effects. Interestingly, the effects of cueing were not just observed for practice clips, which included cues, but transferred to test clips, which did not include cues. Overall, these studies constitute a starting point for investigating the effects of cueing on the analysis of propaganda. 相似文献

数据移动技术是分布式数据库中非常重要的技术之一。本归纳总结了分布式数据库中的数据移动技术，从本质上将现有的数据移动技术分为在线、同步、复制三类技术。在线技术系统可以达到绝对的一致性，但该技术对网络要求很高，且在节点较少时才比较有效。同步技术可以支持大量节点，异构和级联环境，要求有效的网络连接，存在一定的一致性延时。复制技术比较灵活，支持大量节点，异构和级联环境；可以在较好的网络环境，也可以在无直接或网络环境恶劣的情况下使用；存在一定的一致性延时，也可达到准实时的一致性。这三类数据移动技术的应用和选择，主要取决于业务需求和可用的技术架构以及系统对一致性和延时的要求。 相似文献
