【目的】基于核心期刊外审过程中的真实数据展开量化分析,为社科期刊完善审稿制度、提升办刊质量提供启示与借鉴。【方法】基于国内核心社科期刊外审工作的实践,分析当前专家外审制度具体执行过程中存在的主要问题、内在原因和破解思路。【结果】专家外审制度的主要问题在于审稿周期较长、审稿意见质量不高、作者与专家对话机制不完善。之所以存在这些问题,是因为专家的劳动价值与报酬不匹配、稿件送审不够精准、期刊与专家联系不够、期刊制度完善动力不足。【结论】要破解上述难题,需要建立更完善的审稿专家数据库,鼓励编辑与专家加强线下交流,强化对专家的评价与激励,同时加强期刊间合作,从而形成互助共享的发展格局。  相似文献

【目的】了解医学期刊中专家拒审稿件的发生情况,剖析其原因和规律,以期为减少拒审率寻找有效对策。【方法】选取《中华微生物学和免疫学杂志》2013—2014年两年内的收录稿件为研究对象,统计并分析所有送审稿件中被专家拒审稿件的频次,总结其主要原因,分析医学类期刊审稿专家的审稿习惯并统计拒审发生的周期。【结果】数据分析表明,50%以上的编辑送审行为均存在被拒审的情况;排在前3位的拒审理由为专业不符、判断不明和工作繁忙,超过三分之一的稿件拒审行为集中发生在每年的6~8月份;近半数审稿专家的个人信息填写不完整,给编辑的送审工作带来了不少困难。【结论】医学期刊中审稿专家拒审情况普遍存在。编辑部应面对外审专家不同的拒审原因,提出合理可行的解决方案,采取有效措施促进医学期刊的长远发展。  相似文献

【目的】通过对审稿专家的评价进而提出优化审稿专家的措施。【方法】 选取《中华微生物学和免疫学杂志》2011—2015年267位审稿专家7756条审稿记录,统计267位专家的审稿数量、审稿时滞及审稿结论。【结果】 通过统计和分析,5年间审稿篇次>31篇的66位专家是期刊的核心审稿专家,其中,审稿时滞在3周以内的专家占92.5%;审稿时滞上,就所有专家而言,74.2%的能在3周内审回稿件;审稿结论上,拒审占5.0%,无具体审稿意见或审稿意见过简无针对性的占10.5%。【结论】 要保证期刊的核心专家队伍,必须从专家和编辑两个层面进行改进。对专家适当取舍,保证核心审稿专家的数量;同时编辑应做好服务工作,重视专家的知识回报。  相似文献

【目的】为科技期刊激励外审专家措施提供系统理论支撑。【方法】 依据扎根理论的思想,选择16名科技期刊外审专家进行访谈,对访谈数据进行整理分析和对比,找到影响科技期刊外审专家审稿意愿的因素,进行归类和关系确定后,构建科技期刊外审专家审稿意愿模型。【结果】 外审专家的审稿意愿受到效价性因素和成本性因素的双重影响,效价越高审稿意愿越强,而成本越高审稿意愿越低;效价性因素包括学术地位、学术水平、掌控感、启发思维、情感体验和社会贡献,而成本性因素包括时间成本和精力成本。【结论】 科技期刊应提高掌控感、启发思维等审稿效价并降低审稿的时间和精力成本。  相似文献

目的】提出一种切实可行的外审专家信息更新方法,解决稿件送审困难的问题。【方法】 通过分析编委对期刊提出的意见,确定外审专家信息缺失是影响编委送审的主要问题,得出外审专家信息维护的必要性。通过对获取编委信息渠道的讨论及对微软办公软件的研究,提出外审专家信息更新维护的方法。将提出方法用到2013-2014年为IJAC审理过稿件的外审专家数据库上。【结果】为了评估提出方法的性能,定义了信息缺失率和期刊退回率。数据表明,通过提出的信息更新方法,外审专家的信息缺失率为9.14%,即90.86% 的外审专家信息不缺失。IJAC为这90.86% 的外审专家寄送样刊,期刊的退回率仅为0.99%。可以看出,提出的外审专家信息更新方法可以极大地提高外审专家信息的全面性和准确性。【结论】 面对外审专家信息缺失的难题,提出的方法可以有效地解决由于信息缺失导致的稿件送审难题,进而促进期刊稿件质量的提升和编辑部的长远发展。  相似文献

【目的】了解《预防医学》杂志同行评议专家审稿行为,为学术期刊提高同行评议管控能力提供依据。【方法】 通过《预防医学》杂志稿件远程处理系统导出实际完成时间为2015年1月1日—12月31日的同行评议记录,对审稿数量、审稿时间、超时审回和拒绝审稿数量等资料进行分析;并采用多因素Logistic回归模型分析评审专家超时审稿的影响因素。【结果】 2015年送审稿件1000篇,涉及评审专家137人,评审专家审稿最少1篇,最多48篇,中位数5篇。审稿数量不同的评审专家审稿时间比较,差异无统计学意义(H=1.444,P>0.05);不同稿件质量的审稿时间比较,差异有统计学意义(H=18.713,P<0.05)。多因素Logistic回归分析结果显示,审稿超时与审稿数量、稿件质量存在统计关联(P<0.05)。【结论】 学术期刊应保持一定数量的评审专家人数,控制好稿件送审数量和节奏;编辑部应加强初审把关、及时更新评审专家信息。  相似文献

【目的】 根据待审稿件的学科方向与内容,为其选择匹配度较高的审稿专家。【方法】 从文献数据库中选择与待审稿件学科方向相同的文献,优选其中合适的作者作为审稿专家,并依次通过采编系统的审稿专家库、国家和国家各部委基金项目数据库、专家所在单位官方网站验证审稿专家的各项信息。【结果】 选择与待审稿件学科方向相同的文献作者作为审稿专家,审稿结果更为科学合理,审稿效率得到很大提高。【结论】 选择审稿专家不能仅仅依据其一级学科方向从审稿专家库中简单选择,还需要从文献数据库、基金项目数据库和专家所在单位官方网站三个维度验证专家所在研究方向与待审稿件学科方向的匹配度,满足条件才能作为审稿专家。  相似文献

【目的】 为期刊编辑及时、准确地处理Meta分析类稿件提供参考依据,以期提高期刊编辑的工作效率和期刊来稿质量。【方法】 调查2011年11月1日—2017年11月1日《中国卫生统计杂志》在线投稿系统中Meta分析类稿件,深入分析119篇样本稿件的审理过程,归纳退稿原因并总结审稿策略。【结果】 119篇稿件中,仅33篇稿件已发表,20篇稿件仍在审理过程中,66篇稿件被退稿。退稿原因包括选题创新性差、文献检索不当、文献纳入与排除标准不严谨、流程图不规范、异质性分析不当、发表偏倚分析不当、讨论欠佳等。【结论】 编辑审读Meta分析类稿件时,应加强主题选取和相关文献的搜集、纳入文献的筛选方法及质量评价、数据的统计学处理和结果解释4个方面的审查,减少不合格文献的数量。  相似文献

【目的】揭示专家审稿意见在科技期刊论文中合理呈现的价值、形式和基本要求,为其深度开发利用提供借鉴。【方法】从科技期刊中充分搜集呈现专家审稿意见的例文,并参考相关研究成果,分析对比,总结归纳。【结果】发现纸质期刊随文刊载专家审稿意见并不普遍;主要分布于脚注和文后注释中,正文中较为罕见;形式上多为笼统致谢,具体描述专家审稿意见及本人处理情况的不多。【结论】专家审稿意见的合理呈现具有可行性和必要性,对其普及和推行有利于形成新的学术规范,加强审稿规范化,完善审稿机制,提高科技期刊利益各方的学术水平,推动学术繁荣。  相似文献

【目的】 通过科学的办刊措施,预防互联网时代频发的伪审稿事件。【方法】 确立期刊的稿件评价标准,明确符合评价稿件的同行专家资格,在互联网投审稿平台系统各个环节中执行稿件的评价标准。【结果】 期刊疏于管理将引起伪审稿事件;为了淘汰低劣稿件,期刊编辑既要博学,又要善于管理和使用网络平台系统及各种先进的防伪工具;为了公平公正的评阅稿件,编辑必须以稿件评价标准严格初审稿件,充分权衡同行评审意见的有效性和合理性。 【结论】 同行评审是学术期刊出版的基石。预防伪审稿必须严格执行期刊的稿件评价标准,杜绝第三方代投、代评和代写稿件。  相似文献

Aresearch group led by Prof. ZHAI Qiwei from the Institute for Nutritional Sciences under the CAS Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences has discovered that even relatively low doses of resveratrol--a chemical found in the skins of red grapes and in red wine--can improve the sensitivity of mice to the hormone insulin, according to a report in the October,2007 issue of Cell Metabolism. As insulin resistance is often characterized as the most critical factor contributing to the development of Type 2 diabetes, the findings“provide a potential new therapeutic approach for preventing or treating” both conditions, the researchers said.  相似文献

This study examined how students who had no prior experience with videoconferencing would react to the use of videoconferencing as an instructional medium. Students enrolled in seven different courses completed a questionnaire at the beginning of the semester and again at the end of the semester. Students at the origination and remote sites did not differ in their reactions toward videoconferencing but there was a significant difference for gender. Women reacted less favorably to videoconferencing. Compared to the beginning of the semester, students reported significantly less positive attitudes toward taking a course through videoconferencing at the end of the semester. There were no significant differences in students' attitudes toward videoconferencing across courses at the beginning of the semester but there were significant differences across the courses at the end of the semester. The results suggest the need for better preparation for both students and instructors.  相似文献

Ajoint study by Prof. ZHANG Zhibin from the CAS Institute of Zoology and his co-workers from Norway, US and Swiss have indicated that historical outbreaks of migratory locusts in China were associated with cold spells, suggesting that China's projected climate warming could decrease the pest's numbers. A computer-mediated group is a complex entity whose members exchange many types of information via multiple means of communication in pursuit of goals specific to their environment. Over time, they coordinate technical features of media with locally enacted use to achieve a viable working arrangement. To explore this complex interaction, a case study is presented of the social networks of interactions and media use among members of a class of computer-supported distance learners. Results show how group structures associated with project teams dominated who communicated with whom, about what, and via which media over the term, and how media came to occupy their own communication niches: Webboard for diffuse class-wide communication; Internet Relay Chat more to named others but still for general communication across the class; and e-mail primarily for intrateam communication. Face-to-face interaction, occurring only during a short on-campus session, appears to have had a catalytic effect on social and emotional exchanges. Results suggest the need to structure exchanges to balance class-wide sharing of ideas with subgroup interactions that facilitate project completion, and to provide media that support these two modes of interaction.  相似文献

Electronic data interchange (EDI) provides means for interorganizational communication, creates network externalities, requires an advanced information technology (IT) infrastructure, and relies on standards. In the diffusion of such innovations, institutional involvement is imperative. Such institutions contain governmental agencies, national and global standardization organizations, local government, and nonprofit private organizations like industry associations. The last type of organizations we call intermediating institutions. They intermediate or coordinate ("inscribe") the activities of a group of would-be adopters. Unfortunately, little is known of how these organizations shape the EDI diffusion trajectory. In this article we examine one specific type of intermediating organizations?industry associations?and how they advanced the EDI diffusion process in the grocery sectors of Hong Kong, Denmark and Finland. We identify six institutional measures, placed into a matrix formed by the mode of involvement (influence vs. regulation) and the type of diffusion force (supply push vs. demand pull), that can be mobilized to further the EDI diffusion. Industry associations were found to be active users of all these measures to varying degrees. Their role was critical especially in knowledge building, knowledge deployment, and standard setting. Furthermore, institutional involvement varied due to policy and cultural contingencies and power dependencies.  相似文献

This essay focuses on universal service and the Internet as means to support social and political participation. The emphasis on access to telecommunications systems in conventional approaches to universal service is contrasted with access to content. A model of the information environment is described that accounts for the roles of content and conduit, both of which are necessary conditions to achieve true access. The increasing prospects of digital piracy has prompted the perceived need by electronic publishers to adopt technical systems of protection, and governments to reform their copyright laws. This article is a preliminary study of the management of intellectual property by electronic publishers, defined as those involved in the production of online databases, and CD-ROMs. It focuses on three main issues: (1) how electronic publishers view the increasing threat of piracy; (2) the methods of protection employed to protect intellectual property in digital format; and (3) the importance of technological protection of intellectual property in electronic publications. The analysis is based on a sample of 23 UK electronic publishers. The interviews revealed an interesting assortment of protection methods and did not show that technological protection was a preferred way. Instead, the means of protection, in addition to copyright law, comprised niche markets, pricing, trust, bad publicity, and nontechnical and technical means.  相似文献
