This paper is concerned with the problem of delay-dependent stability for a class of singular time-delay systems. By representing the singular system as a neutral form, using an augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and the Wirtinger-based integral inequality method, we obtain a new stability criterion in terms of a linear matrix inequality (LMI). The criterion is applicable for the stability test of both singular time-delay systems and neutral systems with constant time delays. Illustrative examples show the effectiveness and merits of the method.  相似文献

This paper investigates the finite-time stability (FTS) and finite-time stabilization for a class of nonlinear singular time-delay Hamiltonian systems, and proposes a number of new results on these issues. Firstly, an equivalent form is obtained for the nonlinear singular time-delay Hamiltonian systems by the singular matrix decomposition method, based on which some delay-independent and delay-dependent conditions on the FTS are derived for the systems by constructing a kind of novel Lyapunov function. Secondly, we use the equivalent form as well as the energy shaping plus damping injection technique to investigate the finite-time stabilization problem for a class of nonlinear singular port-controlled Hamiltonian (PCH) systems with time delay, and present a specific control design procedure for the systems. Finally, we give several illustrative examples to show the effectiveness of the results obtained in this paper.  相似文献

This paper studies uniqueness and stability of the equilibrium points of nonlinear time-delay systems with leakage delay by using the appropriate model transformation that shifts the considered systems into the neutral-type time-delay systems. Delay-independent sufficient conditions for uniqueness and delay-dependent sufficient conditions for stability are derived, respectively, by using contraction mapping theorem and suitable degenerate Lyapuniv-Krasvovskii functional together with some differential inequalities and LMI technique.  相似文献

This paper investigates stability of linear systems with multiple/single time-delays. Firstly, a three-level cascade augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii (L-K) functional is introduced, in which interconnect information among delayed state vectors is fully taken into account. Based on a newly integral inequality and the cascade L-K functional, a novel stability criterion is derived for linear systems with multiple time-delays. Secondly, it is found that the proposed L-K functional is also suitable for linear systems with single time-delay if the delay-partitioning method is employed. This motivates us to obtain a less conservative stability condition for linear systems with single time-delay. Finally, Numerical examples are given to confirm the advantages of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, new results are established for the delay-independent and delay-dependent problems of dissipative analysis and state-feedback synthesis for a class of nonlinear systems with time-varying delays with polytopic uncertainties. This class consists of linear time-delay systems subject to nonlinear cone-bounded perturbations. Both delay-independent and delay-dependent dissipativity criteria are established as linear matrix inequality-based feasibility tests. The developed results in this paper for the nominal system encompass available results on H approach, passivity and positive realness for time-delay systems as special cases. All the sufficient stability conditions are cast. Robust dissipativity as well as dissipative state-feedback synthesis results are also derived. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the theoretical developments.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the design of dissipative state observers for a family of time-delay nonlinear systems. The Dissipativity method, proposed by one of the authors for delay-free nonlinear systems, is extended here to a class of time-delay nonlinear systems. The design method consists in decomposing the time-delay estimation error dynamics into a time-delay linear subsystem and a time-varying memoryless nonlinearity, connected in a negative feedback loop. By using some storage functionals, both delay-independent and delay-dependent dissipativity criteria are derived in order to guarantee the exponential convergence property of the observer. The exponential stability of the estimation error is then ensured, assuming that the nonlinearity is dissipative with respect to a quadratic supply rate and the linear part is designed, through the observer gains, to be dissipative with respect to a complementary supply rate. The design conditions are formulated in terms of tractable bilinear (BMI’s) or linear matrix inequalities (LMI’s). An interesting advantage is that the proposed dissipative design extends and generalizes under a unified framework several methods available in the literature, since a wide diversity of nonlinearities can be considered. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

Variable fractional-order (VFO) differential equations are a beneficial tool for describing the nonlinear behavior of complex dynamical phenomena. In comparison with the constant FO derivatives, it describes the memory properties of such systems that can vary in the time domain and spatial location. This article investigates the stability and stabilization of VFO neutral systems in the presence of time-varying structured uncertainties and time-varying delay. FO Lyapunov theorem is adopted to achieve order-dependent and delay-dependent criteria for both nominal and uncertain VFO neutral delay systems. The obtained conditions are given in respect of linear matrix inequality by designing a delayed state feedback controller. Simulations verify the main results.  相似文献

This paper proposes an adaptive observer-based neural controller for a class of uncertain large-scale stochastic nonlinear systems with actuator delay and time-delay nonlinear interactions, where drift and diffusion terms contain all state variables of their own subsystem. First, a state observer is established for estimating the unmeasured states, and a predictor-like term is utilized to transform the input delayed system into the delay-free system. Second, novel appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals are used to compensate the time-delay terms, and neural networks are employed to approximate unknown nonlinear functions. At last, an output-feedback adaptive neural control scheme is constructed by using Lyapunov stability theory and backstepping technique. It is shown that the designed neural controller can ensure that all the signals in the closed-loop system are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB) and the tracking error is driven to a small neighborhood of the origin. The simulation results are presented to further show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

The robust controllability problem for the continuous linear time-delay systems with structured parametric uncertainties is studied in this paper. A new sufficient algebraic criterion for the robust controllability of uncertain linear time-delay systems is established. The proposed sufficient condition can provide the explicit relationship of the bounds on system uncertainties for guaranteeing the controllability property. Three numerical examples are given to illustrate the application of the proposed sufficient algebraic criterion and to compare the results with those obtained from the approaches in the literature.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the stability problem of nonlinear multiple time-delay singularly perturbed (NDSP) systems. To overcome the effect of modeling error between the reduced-order model of the NDSP plant and Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy models, a robustness design of model-based fuzzy control is proposed in this study. A stability criterion in terms of Lyapunov’s direct method is derived to guarantee the asymptotic stability of NDSP systems. According to this criterion, a model-based fuzzy controller is then synthesized via the technique of parallel distributed compensation (PDC) to stabilize the NDSP system. If the designed fuzzy controller cannot stabilize the NDSP system, a high-frequency signal, commonly referred to as dither, is simultaneously introduced to stabilize it. Based on the relaxed method, the NDSP system can be stabilized by regulating appropriately the parameters of dither. If the dither’s frequency is high enough, the output of the dithered reduced system and that of its corresponding mathematical model – the relaxed reduced system – can be made as close as desired. This makes it possible to obtain a rigorous prediction of the stability of the dithered reduced system based on the one of the relaxed reduced system.  相似文献

In this paper, the stability of grey discrete-time systems is discussed whose state matrices are interval matrices. A new approach is obtained which guarantee the stability of grey discrete-time systems. The sufficient condition for robust stability of grey time delay systems subjected to interval systems is also derived. By mathematical analysis, the stability criterion is less conservative than those in previous results. Examples are given to compare the proposed method with reported recently.  相似文献

This paper analyzed the sampled-data controller for using time-delay nonlinear systems with a bounded uncertainty approach. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, some synchronization criteria are first obtained. Here, the time-delay is assumed to be constant and known. Instead of solving a nonlinear optimization problem, it will be developed by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The controller gains can be obtained by solving a set of LMIs. During the development of the Darcy-Brinkman model, numerical examples are used to demonstrate the accuracy and dependability of the presented approaches. Finally, numerical simulations show that the proposed solutions are effective and feasible.  相似文献

This paper studies the input-to-state stabilization problem of nonlinear time-delay systems. A novel event-triggered hybrid controller is proposed, where feedback controller and distributed-delayed impulsive controller are taken into account. By using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii method, sufficient conditions for input-to-state stability are constructed under the designed event-triggered hybrid controller, the relation among control parameters, threshold parameter of the event-triggered mechanism and time delay in the impulsive signals is derived. Compared with the existing results, the obtained input-to-state stability criteria are applicable to time-delay systems with stabilizing delay-dependent impulsive effects and destabilizing ones. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, we deal with the finite-time stability of positive switched linear time-delay systems. By constructing a class of linear time-varying copositive Lyapunov functionals, we present new explicit criteria in terms of solvable linear inequalities for the finite-time stability of positive switched linear time-delay systems under arbitrary switching and average dwell-time switching. As an important application, we apply the method to finite-time stability of linear time-varying systems with time delay.  相似文献

The switching signal design for global exponential stability of discrete switched systems with interval time-varying delay is considered in this paper. Some LMI conditions are proposed to design the switching signal and guarantee the global exponential stability of switched time-delay system. This paper investigates the problem of decentralized adaptive backstepping control for a class of large-scale stochastic nonlinear time-delay systems with asymmetric saturation actuators and output constraints. Firstly, the Gaussian error function is employed to represent a continuous differentiable asymmetric saturation nonlinearity, and barrier Lyapunov functions are designed to ensure that the output parameters are restricted. Secondly, the appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and the property of hyperbolic tangent functions are used to deal with the unknown unmatched time-delay interactions, and the neural networks are employed to approximate the unknown nonlinearities. At last, based on Lyapunov stability theory, a decentralized adaptive neural control method is proposed, and the designed controller decreases the number of learning parameters. It is shown that the designed controller can ensure that all the closed-loop signals are 4-Moment (or 2 Moment) semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB) and the tracking error converges to a small neighborhood of the origin. Two examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper considers the output feedback control problem for high-order nonholonomic time-delay system. Remarkably, the studied system allows the polynomial time-delay growing conditions. Moreover, the applicable power ranges of nonlinear drift and diffusion terms are further relaxed to be a interval rather than a fix point. By choosing a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii (L–K) functional, and by modifying the adding a power integrator method, a delay-independent output feedback controller is designed such that the system is globally asymptotically stable.
