利维斯以其敏锐的洞察力和渊博的知识对小说批评做了不懈努力,他的小说批评对英国小说的发展起着决定性的影响,但是他的小说批评有自身的弊病:他关注局部肌理,忽视整体结构;他的小说批评有时关注小说体现的伦理道德、宗教、历史价值等,滑入了另类批评;有时他没能给自己的判断以任何理由;他对一个作家的赞扬往往以贬损另外的作家为前提.所有这些不足之处影响了利维斯在小说批评方面取得的成就. 相似文献

生态批评是90年代兴起于美国并迅速在全世界传播开来的一种批评思潮。新世纪以来,越来越多的中国学者开始以生态批评的视野研究沈从文小说,这可以看作是中国生态批评热潮的一种表现。在生态危机的现实和历史语境下,生态批评的内涵、特征与沈从文小说的生态意蕴相契合,使得沈从文小说生态批评得以可行。新世纪沈从文小说生态批评经历了不同发展阶段,为沈从文小说研究提供了新视野,突破了沈从文小说研究中"人本"的传统模式,对作家及小说的意义和价值进行了重估,这也为生态批评提供了成功经验。 相似文献
