Zhuangzi is the masterpiece of Zhuangzi, and Walden is the masterpiece of Henry David Thoreau. This paper intends to study the similarities of Zhuangzi’s and Thoreau’s outlooks on life by analyzing Thoreau’s origin with Taoism and the absorption from Taoism in Walden. By making a large amount of analysis and comparison of the texts in these two works, the paper comes to such a conclusion: both Thoreau and Zhuangzi advocate to simplify people’s material life and to seek voluntary poverty; they are willing to enjoy the solitude and pursue the spiritual independence and freedom; they prefer to return to nature, live harmoniously with nature and therefore reach the realm of"unity of heaven and humanity". They pay more attention to human existence and their spiritual state. In the complicated modern society, people devote themselves to seeking a materially rich life. However, they do not attach enough importance to spiritual richness. As a result, the whole human society is facing a serious spiritual crisis in modern times. Thoreau’s and Zhuangzi’s outlooks on life can lead people to go through various difficulties of life and guard the pure land of the heart. 相似文献

Ecocriticism is a new-born literary criticism that delves into the exposition of the relationship between human beings and other specimen in nature from the literary angle as well as observes and discloses in detail and with sincerity the effect of literature in the human activities and natural environment. The thesis combines the theory of ecocriticism with romanticism to study Wordsworth’s romantic poetry from an ecological perspective as Wordsworth,the great“worshipper of nature”can also be called an ecological critic since many of his poems are focused on ecological themes and he expresses his passion on an ecological basis. Therefore, this study aims at representing more modern and advanced opinions by stating superiority and inferior of multinational corporations’ human resources localization strategy on the basis of predecessors’ studies. This study is based on multinational corporation human resources localization theories, research on certain multinational corporations located in China, and data and information from relative journals, books,newspapers and internet. The conclusion of this paper is as below: though human resources localization strategy has obvious advantages, the management shall control the"degree"in case of"over-localization"; secondly, as Chinese corporations, it is necessary to possess their own core technology instead of being a manufacturer only; and last, Chinese corporations should learn from foreign multinationals that balancing between globalization and localization, to maximize the benefits. 相似文献
