The problem of adaptive stabilization of a class of continuous-time and time-varying nonlinear plants is treated in this paper. The control scheme guarantees that the state of the plant, with bounded time-varying parameters, asymptotically converges to zero. For the nonlinear case with n2+n unknown parameters (n time-varying and n2 constant), when the control matrix B is unknown the controller has to adjust n2+1 parameters providing only local stability results. On the contrary, when the control matrix B is known only one parameter has to be adjusted and the proposed scheme provides global stability results. The general methodology is particularized for the linear case with 2n2 unknown parameters (n2 time-varying and n2 constant), adjusting n2+1 parameters when the control matrix B is unknown and guarantees only local stability results, whereas in the case when the control matrix B is known only one parameter has to be adjusted and the proposed scheme provides global stability results.  相似文献

A class of matrices with 1, -1 and 0 entries, called the H-matrices, is introduced and properties of such matrices are investigated. It is shown that for an H-matrix K the matrix G = KDKT, where D is a diagonal matrix with nonnegative diagonal entries, has certain properties applicable to topological synthesis of networks. A technique for decomposing a particular symmetrical matrix G, called the Q-matrix, into KDKT, where K is an H-matrix and D is a diagonal matrix with positive diagonal entries, is also developed.  相似文献

The Walsh operational matrix for performing integration and solving state equations is generalized to fractional calculus for investigating distributed systems. A new set of orthogonal functions is derived from Walsh functions. By using the new functions, the generalized Walsh operational matrices corresponding to √s, √(s2+ 1), e-s and e-√s etc. are established. Conditions are given for underdamped or overdamped linear dynamical systems in terms of loop matrix parameters, (√(C)R√(C)g,g)2 ? 4(√(C)L√(C)g,g) for all [boxV]g[boxV] = 1, g ∈ H. These criteria are looked upon as natural generalizations of the elementary one-loop RLC series scalar criteria (R/2L)2 ? 1/LC, when written in the more suggestive form: (√(C)R√(C))2 ? 4√(C)L√(C). A simplified test for determining dynamical systems with all complex natural modes or all real modes are presented with additional comments.  相似文献

Studies of two-element-kind ladder networks are well known in the classical literature, among them, the most celebrated ones are due to Cauer. Driving point immittance function synthesis by using continued fractions to obtain the series and shunt arm L-C element values is a standard and routine work. The idea of introducing a class of more general networks, the inhomogeneous ladder networks, was first developed by Lee and Brown, and subsequently the synthesis techniques of such a network were established.In this paper, new results are found such as: (1) the Iff. conditions of the existence of an inhomogeneous ladder network by a given chain matrix of the network satisfying: (a) determinant of the chain matrix is 1; (b) the zeros of A(s) and z?1B(s) or A(s) and y?1C(s) alternate with respect to [z(s)y(s), k] with an appropriate leading set of zeros of A(s); (c) the poles of A(s) and z?1B(s) or A(s) and y?1C(s) are the poles of z(s)y(s) of multiplicity of n and n?1, where n the number of sections of ladder networks; (2) the Iff. condition for the inhomogeneous ladder network to be optimal is that it be antimetrical, whereas for the extended class of inhomogeneous ladder networks it is symmetrical, where an optimal inhomogeneous ladder network is defined as the corresponding network with the minimum sum of immittance levels in the series and shunt arms; (3) algorithms of synthesis procedures were developed as the by-products of the Theorems.  相似文献

This paper investigates a stability problem for linear systems with time-varying delays. By constructing suitable augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals, improved stability criteria under various conditions of time-varying delays are derived within the framework of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Moreover, to reduce the computational burden caused by the non-convex term including h2(t), how to deal with it is applied by estimating it to the convex term including h(t). Finally, three illustrative examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed criteria.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of delay-dependent dissipative control for a class of linear time-delay systems. We develop the design methods of dissipative static state feedback and dynamic output feedback controllers such that the closed-loop system is quadratically stable and strictly (Q,S,R)-dissipative. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the quadratic dissipative controllers are obtained by using linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. Furthermore, a procedure of constructing such controllers from the solutions of LMIs is given. It is shown that the solvability of a dissipative controller design problem is implied by the feasibility of LMIs. The main results of this paper unify the existing results on H control and passive control.  相似文献

Determining an input matrix, i.e., locating predefined number of nodes (named “key nodes”) connected to external control sources that provide control signals, so as to minimize the cost of controlling a preselected subset of nodes (named “target nodes”) in directed networks is an outstanding issue. This problem arises especially in large natural and technological networks. To address this issue, we focus on directed networks with linear dynamics and propose an iterative method, termed as “L0-norm constraint based projected gradient method” (LPGM) in which the input matrix B is involved as a matrix variable. By introducing a chain rule for matrix differentiation, the gradient of the cost function with respect to B can be derived. This allows us to search B by applying probabilistic projection operator between two spaces, i.e., a real valued matrix space RN?×?M and a L0 norm matrix space RL0N×M by restricting the L0 norm of B as a fixed value of M. Then, the nodes that correspond to the M nonzero elements of the obtained input matrix (denoted as BL0) are selected as M key nodes, and each external control source is connected to a single key node. Simulation examples in real-life networks are presented to verify the potential of the proposed method. An interesting phenomenon we uncovered is that generally the control cost of scale free (SF) networks is higher than Erdos-Renyi (ER) networks using the same number of external control sources to control the same size of target nodes of networks with the same network size and mean degree. This work will deepen the understanding of optimal target control problems and provide new insights to locate key nodes for achieving minimum-cost control of target nodes in directed networks.  相似文献

This paper presents a gain-scheduled control approach for the vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. The non-linear aircraft dynamics are formulated as a linear parameter varying (LPV) system with external parameter-dependent disturbance, which arisen from the equilibrating between gravity force and nozzles thrust. The disturbance is dependent on the system varying parameter, roll angle, and a constant parameter denoting the normalized gravity force. The controllers are designed in terms of mixed optimization of H performance for disturbance attenuation and relative stability for tracking position command in pitch-yaw plane. The characteristics of the parameter-dependent disturbance are described by an equality condition with a defined annihilation matrix. By exploring the parameter-dependence condition on disturbance into the controller design algorithms based on linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), it is showed that a better performance can be achieved than simply considering it as an external disturbance. The design results are demonstrated by time response simulations.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a stochastic SIR epidemic model with distributed delay and degenerate diffusion. Firstly, we transform the stochastic model into an equivalent system which contains three equations. Since the diffusion matrix is degenerate, the uniform ellipticity condition is not satisfied. The Markov semigroup theory is used to obtain the existence and uniqueness of a stable stationary distribution. We verify the densities of the distributions of the solutions can converge in L1 to an invariant density. Then we establish sufficient conditions for extinction of the disease. Some examples and numerical simulations are introduced to illustrate our analytical results.  相似文献

Fast and catalyst-free cross-linking strategy is of great significance for construction of covalently cross-linked hydrogels. Here, we report the condensation reaction between o-phthalaldehyde (OPA) and N-nucleophiles (primary amine, hydrazide and aminooxy) for hydrogel formation for the first time. When four-arm poly(ethylene glycol) (4aPEG) capped with OPA was mixed with various N-nucleophile-terminated 4aPEG as building blocks, hydrogels were formed with superfast gelation rate, higher mechanical strength and markedly lower critical gelation concentrations, compared to benzaldehyde-based counterparts. Small molecule model reactions indicate the key to these cross-links is the fast formation of heterocycle phthalimidine product or isoindole (bis)hemiaminal intermediates, depending on the N-nucleophiles. The second-order rate constant for the formation of phthalimidine linkage (4.3 M−1 s−1) is over 3000 times and 200 times higher than those for acylhydrazone and oxime formation from benzaldehyde, respectively, and comparable to many cycloaddition click reactions. Based on the versatile OPA chemistry, various hydrogels can be readily prepared from naturally derived polysaccharides, proteins or synthetic polymers without complicated chemical modification. Moreover, biofunctionality is facilely imparted to the hydrogels by introducing amine-bearing peptides via the reaction between OPA and amino group.  相似文献

Low-density generator matrix (LDGM) codes have recently drawn researchers’ attention thanks to their satisfying performance while requiring only moderate encoding/decoding complexities as well as to their applicability to network codes. In this paper, we aim to propose a fast simulation method useful to investigate the performance of LDGM code. Supported by the confidence interval analysis, the presented method is, for example, 108 times quicker than the Monte-Carlo computer simulation for bit-error-rate (BER) in 10−10 region.  相似文献

We classify gapped topological superconducting (TSC) phases of one-dimensional quantum wires with local magnetic symmetries, in which the time-reversal symmetry is broken, but its combinations with certain crystalline symmetries, such as , , and , are preserved. Our results demonstrate that an equivalent BDI class TSC can be realized in the or superconducting wire, which is characterized by a chiral Zc invariant. More interestingly, we also find two types of totally new TSC phases in the and superinducting wires, which are beyond the known AZ class, and are characterized by a helical Zh invariant and ZhZc invariants, respectively. In the Zh TSC phase, Z pairs of Majorana zero modes (MZMs) are protected at each end. In the case, the MZMs can be either chiral or helical, and even helical-chiral coexisting. The minimal models preserving or symmetry are presented to illustrate their novel TSC properties and MZMs.  相似文献

The binary matrices A which are circulant with one or more of the following properties: (1) A is symmetric, i.e. A = AT, (2) A is orthogonal, i.e. AAT = I (mod 2), (3) A has low multiplicative order, i.e. Am = I, occur often in communication, control and network theory problems. In this paper we construct a number of such matrices. The results are based on the theory of power-residues modulo an odd prime p, and the fact that the algebra of all p × p circulant matrices is isomorphic to the algebra of polynomials modulo (xp?1).  相似文献

In this paper we consider the problem of finding a minimum number of nonzero elements of a given nxn matrix on removal of which the resulting matrix can be permuted to an nxn lower triangular matrix using summetric permutations on the rows and columns of the matrix. The problem is related to finding a minimum feedback cutset for the digraph of the matrix. A topological method for finding a minimum feedback cutset for a given digraph is presented. This paper introduces an efficient direct approach for solving delay fractional optimal control problems. The concepts of the fractional integral and the fractional derivative are considered in the Riemann–Liouville sense and the Caputo sense, respectively. The suggested framework is based on a hybrid of block-pulse functions and orthonormal Taylor polynomials. The convergence of the proposed hybrid functions with respect to the L2-norm is demonstrated. The operational matrix of fractional integration associated with the hybrid functions is constructed by using the Laplace transform method. The problem under consideration is transformed into a mathematical programming one. The method of Lagrange multipliers is then implemented for solving the resulting optimization problem. The performance and computational efficiency of the developed numerical scheme are assessed through various types of delay fractional optimal control problems. Our numerical findings are compared with either exact solutions or the existing results in the literature.  相似文献

The solution of the differential equation y″ + 2Ry′ + n2y = E cos pt is written in a new form which clearly exhibits many important facts thus far overlooked by theoretical and experimental investigators. Writing s = n ? p, and Δn = n ? √n2 ? R2, it is found: (a) When s ≠ Δn, there are “beats,” and the first “beat” maximum is greater than any later maximum while the first “beat” minimum is less than any later “beat” minimum. The “beat” frequency is (s ? Δn). (b) When n2 ? p2 = R2, there are no “beats,” and the resultant amplitude grows monotonically from zero to the amplitude of the forced vibration, (c) At resonance, when n = p, we still have maxima which occur with a frequency Δn in a damped system. (d) The absence of “beats” is neither a sufficient nor a necessary condition for resonance in a damped system.In the experimental investigation the upper extremity of a simple pendulum was moved in simple harmonic motion and photographic records obtained of the motion of the pendulum bob. Different degrees of damping were used, ranging from very small to critical.The experimental results are in excellent agreement with theory.  相似文献
