An adaptive sliding mode trajectory tracking controller is developed for fully-actuated robotic airships with parametric uncertainties and unknown wind disturbances. Based on the trajectory tracking model of robotic airships, an adaptive sliding mode control strategy is proposed to ensure the asymptotic convergence of trajectory tracking errors and adaptive estimations. The crucial thinking involves an adaptive scheme for the controller gains to avoid the off-line tuning. Specially, the uncertain physical parameters and unknown wind disturbances are rejected by variable structure control, and boundary layer technique is employed to avoid the undesired control chattering phenomenon. Computer experiments are performed to demonstrate the performance and advantage of the proposed control method.  相似文献

This paper investigates an adaptive prescribed performance control strategy with specific time planning for trajectory tracking of robotic manipulator subject to input constraint and external disturbances. By constructing an accumulated error vector embedded with a performance enhancement function and introducing an input auxiliary function, a specified-time control framework with built-in prescribed performance is further designed to ensure that the trajectory tracking performance. More particularly, the proposed control law is compatible with the control input saturation suppression algorithm, which is capable of improving the robustness of closed loop system. Under the framework of the proposed control strategy, it is proved by theory that all the signals in the closed-loop system are bounded, and moreover the tracking error can reach the exact convergence domain in a given time. At last, a numerical example is presented to indicate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper proposes adaptive iterative learning control schemes for robot manipulator systems with iteration-varying lengths. To prove the asymptotical convergence of the joint position tracking error along the iteration axis, this paper develops a new composite energy function based on the newly introduced auxiliary variables for the analysis. Moreover, the traditional assumption of identical initialization condition is relaxed to be arbitrarily varying and then an initial rectifying mechanism is introduced to tackle initial shift problem of robotic systems. Illustrative simulations on a two degree-of-freedom robot manipulator are provided to verify the theoretical results.  相似文献

Generally speaking, the mobile robot is capable of sensing its surrounding environment, interpreting the sensed information to obtain the knowledge of its location and the environment, and planning a real-time trajectory to reach the object. In this process, the issue of obstacle avoidance is a fundamental topic to be challenged. Thus, a switching path-planning control scheme is designed without detailed environmental information, large memory size, and heavy computation burden in this study for the obstacle avoidance of a mobile robot. In this scheme, the robot can gradually approach its object according to the motion tracking mode, obstacle avoidance mode, self-rotation mode, and robot state selection designed by learning and expert rules for enhancing the tracking speed and adapting to different environments. The effectiveness of the proposed adaptive path-planning control scheme is verified by numerical simulations and experimental results of a differential-driving mobile robot under the possible occurrence of obstacle shapes.  相似文献

This paper studies the problem of composite synchronization and learning of multiple coordinated robot manipulators subject to heterogeneous nonlinear uncertain dynamics under the leader-follower framework. A new two-layer distributed adaptive learning control scheme is proposed, which consists of the first-layer distributed cooperative estimator and the second-layer decentralized deterministic learning controller. The first layer aims to enable each robotic agent to estimate the leader’s information. The second layer is responsible for not only controlling each individual robotic agent to track over desired reference trajectory, but also accurately identifying/learning each robot’s nonlinear uncertain dynamics. Design and implementation of this two-layer distributed controller can be carried out in a fully-distributed manner, which do not require any global information including global connectivity of the communication network. The Lyapunov method is applied to rigorously analyze stability and parameter convergence of the resulting closed-loop system. Numerical simulations on a team of two-degree-of-freedom robot manipulators have been conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.  相似文献

An adaptive backstepping control scheme is proposed for task-space trajectory tracking of robot manipulators in the presence of uncertain parameters and external disturbances. In the case of external disturbance-free, the developed controller guarantees that the desired trajectory is globally asymptotically followed. Moreover, taking disturbances into consideration, the controller is synthesized by using adaptive technique to estimate the system uncertainties. It is shown that L2 gain of the closed-loop system is allowed to be chosen arbitrarily small so as to achieve any level of L2 disturbance attenuation. The associated stability proof is constructive and accomplished by the development of a Lyapunov function candidate. Numerical simulation results are included to verify the control performance of the control approach derived.

This paper is devoted to the fault-tolerant tracking control for a class of uncertain robotic systems under time-varying output constraints. Notably, both actuator fault and the disturbances are present while all the dynamic matrices are not necessarily to be parameterized by unknown parameters or have known nominal parts, and moreover, the reference trajectories as well as the output constraints functions are not necessarily twice continuously differentiable without any time derivatives of them being available for feedback. These remarkable characteristics greatly relax the corresponding assumptions of the related literature and in turn to bring the ineffectiveness of the traditional schemes on this topic. For this, a powerful adaptive control methodology is established by incorporating adaptive dynamic compensation technique into the backstepping framework based on Barrier Lyapunov functions. Then, an adaptive state feedback controller with the smart choices of adaptive law and virtual controls is designed which guarantees that all the states of the closed-loop system are bounded and the system output practically tracks the reference trajectory while not violates the output constraints.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel on-line observer-based trajectory tracking strategy for leader-follower formation of multiple nonholonomic mobile robots is developed. In the proposed strategy, a leader robot follows a certain trajectory whereas a number of followers track the leader as specified by a formation protocol. Unlike other techniques in the literature, a predefined trajectory is not required, and it can be changed on-line. Moreover, this strategy aims to have a fast transient response without showing undesired overshoots. To achieve this feature, a new observer is introduced. Based on the output of that observer, a control strategy with two components is derived. The first control component is responsible for tracking the desired trajectory, whereas the second control component is used to regulate the robot to its desired steady state position. The stability of the closed loop control system is investigated. Applications of the proposed observer-based controller to different case studies are presented to illustrate the effectiveness, robustness and applicability of the developed technique. To show the superiority of proposed controller, its performance in a trajectory tracking application is compared to that of a Lyapunov-based controller.  相似文献

In classical model reference adaptive control (MRAC), the adaptive rates must be tuned to meet multiple competing objectives. Large adaptive rates guarantee rapid convergence of the trajectory tracking error to zero. However, large adaptive rates may also induce saturation of the actuators and excessive overshoots of the closed-loop system’s trajectory tracking error. Conversely, low adaptive rates may produce unsatisfactory trajectory tracking performances. To overcome these limitations, in the classical MRAC framework, the adaptive rates must be tuned through an iterative process. Alternative approaches require to modify the plant’s reference model or the reference command input. This paper presents the first MRAC laws for nonlinear dynamical systems affected by matched and parametric uncertainties that constrain both the closed-loop system’s trajectory tracking error and the control input at all times within user-defined bounds, and enforce a user-defined rate of convergence on the trajectory tracking error. By applying the proposed MRAC laws, the adaptive rates can be set arbitrarily large and both the plant’s reference model and the reference command input can be chosen arbitrarily. The user-defined rate of convergence of the closed-loop plant’s trajectory is enforced by introducing a user-defined auxiliary reference model, which converges to the trajectory tracking error obtained by applying the classical MRAC laws before its transient dynamics has decayed, and steering the trajectory tracking error to the auxiliary reference model at a rate of convergence that is higher than the rate of convergence of the plant’s reference model. The ability of the proposed MRAC laws to prescribe the performance of the closed-loop system’s trajectory tracking error and control input is guaranteed by barrier Lyapunov functions. Numerical simulations illustrate both the applicability of our theoretical results and their effectiveness compared to other techniques such as prescribed performance control, which allows to constrain both the rate of convergence and the maximum overshoot on the trajectory tracking error of uncertain systems.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel adaptive control is investigated for robotic manipulators to unify the study of predefined performance control, input saturation and dynamic uncertainties. The focus is to achieve three user-defined performance indices of the closed-loop system with simultaneous existence of input constraints and model uncertainties, that is overshoot, precision within prescribed finite time and predefined steady-state error. To ensure the performance constraints, an error transformation is constructed for the manipulators by two auxiliary functions and embedded into the barrier Lyapunov function (BLF) in the backstepping analysis. Furthermore, the adaptive control strategies and the adaptive anti-saturation compensator are, respectively, developed to address the dynamics uncertainties and the actuator saturation. The Lyapunov analysis is employed to show that all the closed-loop signals are bounded. Finally, simulation studies and experiments on Baxter robot demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a feedback-based control approach to execute the time optimal motion trajectories for a differential drive robot. These trajectories are composed of straight lines and rotations in place. We show that the evolution of the position of a single landmark over time, in a local reference frame, makes it possible to track a prescribed time-optimal robot’s trajectory, based on feedback of the landmark’s position. We also show that the closed-loop system is an exponentially stable one with a nonvanishing perturbation, and that globally uniformly ultimately boundedness of the tracking errors can be achieved. The two main results of this work are: 1) Our approach leverages visual servo control type of methods with tools from optimal control for executing time-optimal trajectories in the state space based on feedback information. 2) The approach is able to work with the minimum number of landmarks–only one–this represents a necessary and sufficientcondition for landmark-based navigation. Experiments in a physical robot, a nonholonomic differential drive system equipped with an omnidirectional laser sensor, are shown, which validate the proposed theoretical modelling.  相似文献

Robotic tasks are primarily defined to comply to spatial and time constraints, and in several of such tasks, it is required to track a nominal contour depending just on spatial coordinates, without involving the time variable in the definition of such a contour, in contrast to conventional trajectory tracking schemes. With the aim to satisfy the salient requirements of these robotic tasks, this paper presents an integrated robust controller. The contour is encoded by using a robust velocity field, such that, any particle immerse in such field converges in predefined-time to a predefined vicinity of the given contour. Then, a robust controller is proposed to enforce the velocity field, in turns, in predefined-time. In this sense, a predefined-time-precision contour tracking is assured, by considering a robust controller that does not assume the exact knowledge of the robot parameters for its real-time implementation. Numerical simulations are conducted to highlight the reliability of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, a flatness-based adaptive sliding mode control strategy is presented to solve the trajectory tracking problem of a quadrotor. According to the differential flatness theory, the typical under-actuated quadrotor dynamics is transformed into a fully-actuated one. Based on this model, backstepping sliding mode controllers are designed to solve the trajectory tracking problem. To improve the robustness to disturbances, extended state observers are applied as a feedforward compensation of disturbances. Moreover, considering the high-order dynamics and possible instability caused by large observer gains, the adaptive method is applied to compensate for the estimation error. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is verified in simulations.  相似文献

Novel integral sliding mode control for small-scale unmanned helicopters   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Integral sliding mode (ISM) control which consists of a nominal control and a sliding-mode motion control, provides a nice framework for high tracking performance and good disturbance reduction. Our work develops ISM to attenuate the adverse effect of mismatched perturbations. By properly choosing sliding-manifold surface, the elimination of disturbances on control outputs enables to be achieved. Additionally, the chattering of sliding-mode control part is attenuated based on second-order sliding mode idea. Then, the proposed novel ISM control scheme is applied to address trajectory tracking problem for helicopters under perturbations. Approximated input-output linearization is implemented, such that the obtained linearized model is suitable for applying the proposed ism control. The stability of the closed-loop system for helicopter and its convergence to zeros of tracking errors are demonstrated by Lyapunov theory analysis. Several comparison simulations illustrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed methods.  相似文献

Rotary steerable system (RSS) is a directional drilling technique which has been applied in oil and gas exploration under complex environment for the requirements of fossil energy and geological prospecting. The nonlinearities and uncertainties which are caused by dynamical device, mechanical structure, extreme downhole environment and requirements of complex trajectory design in the actual drilling work increase the difficulties of accurate trajectory tracking. This paper proposes a model-based dual-loop feedback cooperative control method based on interval type-2 fuzzy logic control (IT2FLC) and actor-critic reinforcement learning (RL) algorithms with one-order digital low-pass filters (LPF) for three-dimensional trajectory tracking of RSS. In the proposed RSS trajectory tracking control architecture, an IT2FLC is utilized to deal with system nonlinearities and uncertainties, and an online iterative actor-critic RL controller structured by radial basis function neural networks (RBFNN) and adaptive dynamic programming (ADP) is exploited to eliminate the stick–slip oscillations relying on its approximate properties both in action function (actor) and value function (critic). The two control effects are fused to constitute cooperative controller to realize accurate trajectory tracking of RSS. The effectiveness of our controller is validated by simulations on designed function tests for angle building hole rate and complete downhole trajectory tracking, and by comparisons with other control methods.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel tracking control scheme for continuous-time nonlinear affine systems with actuator faults is proposed by using a policy iteration (PI) based adaptive control algorithm. According to the controlled system and desired reference trajectory, a novel augmented tracking system is constructed and the tracking control problem is converted to the stabilizing issue of the corresponding error dynamic system. PI algorithm, generally used in optimal control and intelligence technique fields, is an important reinforcement learning method to solve the performance function by critic neural network (NN) approximation, which satisfies the Lyapunov equation. For the augmented tracking error system with actuator faults, an online PI based fault-tolerant control law is proposed, where a new tuning law of the adaptive parameter is designed to tolerate four common kinds of actuator faults. The stability of the tracking error dynamic with actuator faults is guaranteed by using Lyapunov theory, and the tracking errors satisfy uniformly bounded as the adaptive parameters get converged. Finally, the designed fault-tolerant feedback control algorithm for nonlinear tracking system with actuator faults is applied in two cases to track the desired reference trajectory, and the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method.  相似文献

A novel robust hierarchical multi-loop composite control scheme is proposed for the trajectory tracking control of robotic manipulators subject to constraints and disturbances. The inner loop based on inverse dynamics control is used to reduce the nonlinear tracking error system to a set of decoupled linear subsystems to alleviate the computational effort during the sequel optimization. The feasible regions of the equivalent state and control input of each subsystem can be computed efficiently by choosing an appropriate inertia matrix estimate. The external loop, relying on a set of separate disturbance-observer-based tube model predictive composite controllers, is used to robustly stabilize the decoupled subsystems. In particular, the disturbance observers are designed to compensate for the disturbances actively, while the tube model predictive controllers are used to reject the residual disturbances. The robust tightened constraints are obtained by calculating the outer-bounding-tube-type residual disturbance invariant sets of the closed-loop subsystems. Furthermore, the recursive feasibility and input-to-state stability of the closed-loop system are investigated. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is verified by the simulation experiment on a PUMA 560 robotic manipulator.  相似文献
