本文从符号学和传播学的视角,对国内外迅速兴起的“播客”现象进行较为深入的文本意义解读。笔者认为,作为社会文本的播客,其意义是:在播客特定的语境下,人们借助不同的符号系统,使“自我实现”得到最大的满足并正逐步融入社会。从编码者的角度看,这种“自我的实现”的特点是,话语权力的获得和“超符号”的自由交流。而译码者的“自我实现”的特点,则是通过解释权的回归,使可读的文本和可写的文本得以沟通。 相似文献

Plato's mimetic theory proposes art is an imitative representation of nature. Mimesis and imitation have a long history of rhetorical significance. This article investigates the potential impact increased technology might have upon the mimetic nature of the interpretation of poetry within modern forensics performances. Technological advances have made millions of performances available immediately. This vast increase in performance accessibility has created serious implications for repetition and impersonation within the genre of interpretation. As YouTube has made poetry performances visibly and audibly accessible to the masses, literal mimetic performances are quickly taking shape. The article aims to present a possible research design for analyzing historical press photographs published during the socialist regime. It introduces a design structure that comprises an epistemological basis (interpretivism), theoretical perspective (constructivism and poststructuralism), methodological approach (social semiotics and multimodality), and method of analysis (social semiotic analysis). The aim of this study is to demonstrate that it is possible to apply a postmodern approach to historical photographs and to prove that concepts that are applied within the research on liberal societies can be used within the research on socialist societies if some specific conditions are taken into account. Such an assumption is documented by a case study that presents an analysis of a photograph published in the Czechoslovak press in 1968. 相似文献

This article examines government propaganda posters of World War II as vehicles of communication from the perspectives of social psychology, us versus them propaganda techniques, and twentieth century theories of semiotics. This article also discusses the symbols used in these posters from the perspective of art as a social utility and Robert Cialdini's tendencies of human behavior. The centrality of communication in health promotion is described in Healthy People 2010: Objectives for Improving Health, which noted that "health communication can contribute to all aspects of disease prevention and health promotion." In this paper we build on this argument by suggesting that communication science can be advanced by pursuing a "big-science" strategy where important and challenging questions about the role of communication in modern life are studied through rigorous research designs and research findings are applied to addressing significant social issues and problems. A significant dimension of a "big-science" strategy is the pursuit of programs of research using longitudinal designs and large samples with adequate controls. Given that such large-scale studies necessarily involve funding, we review some major funding initiatives and programs in different agencies of the federal governmental. 相似文献
