全球报纸发行量上升世界报业协会6月3日发布的世界报业趋势调查报告显示,去年全球报纸发行量的增长伴随着全球报纸销量创造新高,每天超过5.15亿人买报。如果算上免费报纸,全球报纸总发行量上升34.61%,免费报纸占据总发行量的将近8%。这些结果表明,报纸依然生机勃勃,展示了报纸作为数亿人首选媒介的巨大活力。报告显示,世界销量最大的100家报纸中,其中60家来自亚洲的中国、日本和印度。中国是世界最大报纸市场。来源:新华社  相似文献

以《中国期刊全文数据库》(CNKI)为统计源,利用文献计量学的方法对统计出的1994-2009年的馆员素质文献进行分析。通过回归分析,揭示出馆员素质研究文献呈逻辑增长的规律,当前馆员素质研究文献处在文献增长的第三阶段,即缓熳增长阶段;通过对主题的统计分析,归纳出相关论文主要从馆员素质综论、各类型馆员素质研究和馆员素质实证研究三大方面进行了探讨,并指出这三大方面文献的发展趋势以及研究过程中的一些问题,以期对今后的研究提供一些参考意义。  相似文献

This article outlines the rise of the radical agrarian Nonpartisan League (NPL) press in North Dakota, focusing on NPL editor Gerald P. Nye, who took his Prairie-based populist platform and constituents' post-World War I anti-British sentiments to Washington, DC. There he effectively opposed active US participation in European and Asian wars as a US senator from 1925 to 1941. The article explores the intersection of journalism and politics through the development of Nye's isolationist ideology as a rural newspaper editor and his rise as a powerful political ideologue and advocate in the Senate.  相似文献

The Internet and the rise of e‐Science alter the conditions for scholarly communication. In signing declarations against open access mandates, society publishers indicate that they feel most threatened by the emergence of institutional repositories and the self‐archiving mandates that these make possible. More attention should be paid to the impact of e‐Science, the rise of Internet‐based guild publishers, and the entrance of players from the new economy. Society journals should stop aspiring to such functions as registration and archiving and should shed electronic dissemination, while enhancing certification and investing in (new) navigation services.  相似文献

This paper builds upon previous research that examines participatory forms of “reciprocal journalism” and “public communication” led by high school and college students in Miami, Florida, USA, in the fall of 2014. In this study, the students’ assessment of local and national media coverage is used to reveal greater details inherent in examining participatory methods of newswork. Collectively, students said that media coverage emphasis on local and national public officials instead of residents and community members who experience sea-level rise first-hand, combined with a lack of scientific explanation of and solutions for sea-level rise reduced the event's potential to build reciprocal relationships with younger audiences.  相似文献

The use of digital media is on rise around the world and same phenomenon is emerging in Pakistan. The study was intended to explore the use of digital media and demand for digitized contents in higher education sector of Pakistan. The research questions were answered by a comprehensive literature review along with semi-structured in-depth interviews of 25 library experts. The findings conferred that the use of digital media in higher education is on rise and demand for digitized contents is growing increasingly. In the 1880s company magazines began to appear in large-scale British organizations. By the 1930s almost every corporation had one. Based on business archives and using a combination of business and media history, this article attempts to map the rise and spread of the company magazine. At the same time, it examines the organizational roles and functions of this media. Company magazines came to perform a number of important roles within large-scale business such as the construction of corporate identity, the creation of organizational culture, the validation and negation of managerial power and the evolution of industrial welfare. It is the multi-faceted nature of the company magazine that suggests the rise in its importance, and also its centrality to those interested in the relationship between business and media history.  相似文献
