"至善(perfect good)"理论是托玛斯·阿奎那伦理学思想的一个重要组成部分.阿奎那的"至善论"与其前辈奥古斯丁的"至善论"既有着千丝万缕的联系又有着根本的不同.阿奎那一方面继承了奥古斯丁的神学价值目标,另一方面又用亚里士多德的学说修偏补弊,以诠释自己的"至善"意趣,由此补正了奥古斯丁关于神恩与人性各行其道的格局,从而成为近代启蒙价值复兴的过渡性环节. 相似文献

托马斯·阿奎那在修改早期自然法的基础上,确立了自己的社会思想。他强调人天生具有社会性,以此解说人类社会的起源;他认为,人天生是不平等的,以此来论证现实社会不平等的合理性;他提出一种社会有机论,以此说明个人从属于社会,没有独立存在的价值。阿奎那的社会思想反映了当时基督教以及西方教会在社会中地位的变化。 相似文献

在托马斯·阿奎那这里,自然法如同一座桥梁,其一端架在人定法的这一边,另一端则植基于永恒法的彼岸。一方面,自然法是形上的、神性的、不变的;另一方面,自然法又是形下的、人性的、可变的。自然法可以与永恒法、人定法发生互动,从而呈现“上通下达”、“一体两性”的特征。其实质就是以“形上的”“神圣”精神来指导人“形下的”世俗实践,充分体现出阿奎那思想中“神本主义”向“人本主义”的转移和二者之间的内在关联,从而实现了对“神圣”与“世俗”的有机共构。 相似文献

What influence has Christianity had on kinesiology and physical education's status in the Academy? Conventional wisdom within kinesiology often seems to argue that the influence has been quite negative. These critics allege that Christianity is a fundamentally dualistic religion. They allege that, at its best, Christianity is suspicious of the body and that, at its worst, Christianity openly proclaims that the body is evil. Despite the popularity of such assertions, there is abundant evidence in both historical and contemporary theology to show that Christianity is a religion in which corporeality plays a central, defining, and positive role. From Saint Paul to Saint Augustine, from Saint Aquinas to the present day, it has been a central doctrine of Christianity that the human body is good and, furthermore, that corporeality plays a vital role in salvation. Consequently, any blanket assertion that Christianity is the source of physical education and kinesiology's ills is fundamentally misleading and mistaken. 相似文献

ABSTRACT This article explores the implications for Christian religious education of the theory of moral virtues formulated by Thomas Aquinas and developed by the contemporary Neo-Thomists. The analysis is divided into two parts. The first part introduces Thomistic virtue theory and presents cardinal virtues crucial for Thomistic ethics: prudence, justice, temperance and fortitude, as the reference points for moral education. This part also includes analysis of the relationship between cardinal and theological virtues, leading to the conclusion that Christian religious education also requires the development of theological virtues. The second part explores, through Thomistic theory, what factors condition the development of a person’s moral character (i.e. his/her moral virtues) and what those factors mean for supporting moral education within Christian religious education, initially within the context of Polish schooling. Particular attention is given to three issues: introducing the concept of responsibility for community members, introducing knowledge of moral virtues, and building a relationship with God. 相似文献

Revelation is a central category in Jewish, Christian, and Muslim religions for relating the divine and the human. Each of these religions tends to speak of revelation as something given to them in the past. This essay describes revelation as a present relation of teaching‐learning, one that is universal in scope and finds particular expressions in bodily and communal life. To teach is to show someone how to do something. Teaching is a fundamental act of all human and some nonhuman beings.
