This paper examines the relative importance and significance of the four technology enablers introduced by Davis (1989) in the technology acceptance model (TAM) (perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude towards using and behavioural intention) for use on four different levels of citizen engagement in e-government (null, publish, interact and transact). An extended technology acceptance model (TAM) is developed to test citizen engagement towards online e-government services from a sample of 307 citizens who used the benefits advisor tool within a Spanish City Hall. Although the proposed model follows TAM and explains the intention towards the actual use of e-government by postulating four direct determinants, “A, PU, PEOU and BI” have been considered as parallel processes, meaning that each can have separate influence in different levels of citizen engagement. To achieve this goal, a multinomial logistic regression is developed and tested to confirm the explanatory power of the four technology enablers on the four different levels of e-government. Our findings further suggest that in order to implement e-government, some of the enablers matter more than others to move from one level of citizen engagement to another. The main contribution of the paper is to question the use of existing models which seek to represent the relationship between technology enablers and the adoption of e-government services without considering their impacts on citizens’ engagement. The implications of the findings are discussed and useful insights are provided in relation to policy recommendations geared to create appropriate conditions to build citizens’ engagement intent of use of e-government services.  相似文献

    摘要:提高公民对电子政务服务的采纳意向是促进电子政务发展的重要途径。为了探查我国电子政务公民采纳意向的影响因素,本研究构建了电子政务服务公民采纳模型,并通过问卷方式采集了630个有效样本数据,运用结构方程建模方法对模型进行了检验。研究结果表明:(1)相对优势和相容性、自我效能在三个服务层次上对公民采纳意向均有显著影响;认知度、对政府的信任和感知信任分别在基本信息、信息交流、事务处理服务层上对公民的采纳意向产生显著影响。(2)感知信任的三个前因分别为:对互联网的信任、对政府的信任和认知度。    相似文献

The purpose of this article is to provide insights into the effects of Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service quality and reveal mediation effects in the process of forming the repurchase intention. This study incorporates additional theoretical construct, perceived enjoyment, to reflect IPTV characteristics using extended technology acceptance model (TAM). This study empirically investigated a research model and conducted a survey of IPTV service users. The results of this study are as follows. First, IPTV service quality is summarized as design, security, and customer service, which is supported by second-order factor analysis. Service quality had an influence on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived enjoyment. Second, perceived ease of use had a significant effect on perceived enjoyment, and perceived usefulness also had an effect on repurchase intention. Third, attitude, trust, and satisfaction had a positive effect on repurchase intention. To reveal the impact on repurchase intention of the IPTV service quality, this study proposes customer acceptance on IPTV service based on a modified TAM.  相似文献

电子政务系统的成功不仅取决于技术因素,更取决于用户的使用意愿。在理论分析的基础上构建了政府门户网站服务公众接受模型,并通过实证调查的方法对接受模型进行了验证。研究结论发现:主观规范、网络外部性分别在信息处理服务、信息交流服务层面上对公众的使用意愿存在显著影响;自我效能在信息交流服务和信息处理服务层面上对公众的使用意愿产生显著影响;相容性在基本信息服务和信息交流服务层面上得到支持;便利性在三个服务层面上均得到验证;对网络的信任和对政府的信任显著影响感知信任。最后,根据实证结果总结了研究结论,并就政府门户网站服务功能的完善提出了相应的政策建议。  相似文献

The adoption and diffusion of electronic government is often impeded by many social and individual factors relating to citizens. In this respect, intermediaries have emerged as a new model for delivering e-government services to overcome such obstacles. This study aims to examine the role of intermediaries in facilitating e-government adoption and diffusion using a survey based empirical study of 502 participants in Madinah City in Saudi Arabia. An extended UTAUT model is used as the theoretical basis utilizing trust in the Internet and Intermediaries. The results of this study show that there are significant relationships among the factors that influence intention to use e-government, namely, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and trust of intermediary. In addition, the findings show that there is a significant relationship between facilitating conditions and usage behavior proving that intermediaries can influence adoption of e-government services.  相似文献

Awareness of antecedents and consequences of trust in m-commerce can enable m-commerce service providers to design suitable marketing strategies. Present study conducted a meta-analysis of 118 related empirical studies. The results indicate that antecedents namely perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, system quality, information quality, service quality, user interface, perceived risk, perceived security, structural assurance, ubiquity, and disposition to trust, while consequences namely attitude, user satisfaction, behavioral intention, and loyalty have significant relationship with trust in m-commerce. Further, all the relationships were found to be moderated by culture except perceived ease of use, disposition to trust, and attitude.  相似文献

本文基于TAM模型、网络外部性、转换障碍、感知隐私风险和信任,构建了移动社交类APP用户持续使用意愿影响因素的研究模型,并以移动端微信(微博)为例进行了实证对比研究。利用结构方程模型对调查问卷数据进行分析,研究结果表明,两者大部分假设均得到支持,满意度和信任对用户持续使用意愿有直接影响,而网络外部性和感知有用性、感知易用性、感知娱乐性对用户持续使用意愿有间接影响,可替代平台吸引力对用户满意度与用户持续使用意愿的调节作用显著。最后根据结论提出了相关的建议。  相似文献

This paper examines empirically the factors that affect the adoption of Internet banking by Tunisian bank customers. As base model, we use the technology acceptance model (TAM) and theory of planned behavior (TPB). The model employs security and privacy, self efficacy, government support, and technology support, in addition to perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude, social norm, perceived behavior control and intention to use Internet banking. Structural equation modeling is employed to examine the inter-correlations among the proposed constructs. A survey involving a total of 284 respondents is conducted and confirmatory factor analysis was used to determine the measurement efficacies. Theoretically, this study confirms the applicability of the TAM model and TPB in predicting Internet banking adoption by Tunisian bank customers. The results allow banks' decision makers to develop strategies that can encourage the adoption of Internet banking. Banks should improve the security and privacy to protect consumers' personal and financial information, which will increase the trust of users. Government should also play a role to support bank industry by having a clear and solid law on this will ensure that customers are more confident for using Internet banking, ensuring a better Internet infrastructure and helps them to encourage users to use Internet banking. Lastly, Tunisian Banks should focus on those clients who already have a home PC, access Internet and more educated and younger since they are the most likely to adopt Internet banking.  相似文献

【目的/意义】旅游信息服务平台是现代旅游发展的关键支撑,研究旅游信息服务平台用户使用意愿与行为 及其影响因素,有助于平台运营商不断优化功能、提升服务水平。【方法/过程】基于UTAUT模型,综合考虑信任程 度、感知风险、产品或服务权威性等,构建旅游信息服务平台用户使用意愿影响因素的结构方程模型,并以“掌上高 铁”为例,设计了用户使用意愿影响因素测量量表,通过发放问卷方式收集数据,利用软件 R4.1.0对结构方程模型 进行了分析。【结果/结论】数据分析结论显示:付出期望、社会影响、便利条件、信任程度、产品或服务权威性对使用 意愿有显著的正向影响,感知风险对使用意愿有显著负向影响,绩效期望和使用意愿对使用行为有显著正向影响。 【创新/局限】本文新增了“产品或服务权威性”变量,构建了铁路旅游信息服务平台即“掌上高铁”软件用户使用行 为影响因素模型。  相似文献

Text-based chatbots are being touted as a disruptive innovation with unprecedented business potential. However, frequent failures in human–chatbot conversations have led to consumer pushback. This study investigates the response of consumers to chatbots in terms of their intention to switch to human agents. Drawing upon the stimulus–organism–response (SOR) framework, focus is placed on how the anthropomorphic attributes of chatbots influence consumers’ perceived trust in chatbots and its implications for switching intention. Further, the moderating role of relationship norms in the relationships between the anthropomorphic attributes and trust in chatbots is examined. A mixed-methods approach is used; the qualitative analysis reveals three main anthropomorphic attributes of chatbots, two types of relationship norms and the specific response to chatbots. The quantitative results suggest that the anthropomorphic attributes of perceived warmth and perceived competence positively affect consumers’ perceived trust in chatbots, whereas communication delay negatively affects it. Relationship norms are found to moderate some of these effects such that exchange relationships strengthen the importance of perceived competence on trust, although communal relationships do not moderate the effects of perceived warmth on trust. Trust in chatbots negatively affects consumers’ intention to switch to a human agent. Theoretical and managerial implications are also discussed for scholars and practitioners in ways to improve the design and maximize the utility of chatbots.  相似文献

With the proliferation of online content service industry, understanding the factors affecting consumer intention to purchase online content services has become an important issue for academics and practitioners. While previous research has suggested that consumers’ perceived value and moral judgment are two main factors influencing behavioral intention to purchase online content services, few studies have explored what drives perceived value and if customers’ ethical self-efficacy will moderate the effect of perceived value on purchase intention. Thus, based on the value-based adoption model and previous literature, this study explores the antecedents of perceived value and the moderating effect of ethical self-efficacy for online piracy (ESEOP) on the relationship between perceived value and purchase intention in the context of online content services. Data collected from 124 respondents in Taiwan are tested against the research model using the partial least squares (PLS) approach. The results indicate that perceived enjoyment, perceived usefulness, perceived fee, and ESEOP have a significant influence on perceived value and that ESEOP can enhance the positive effect of perceived value on purchase intention. The findings of this study provide several important theoretical and practical implications for consumer online content purchase behaviors.  相似文献

The primary aim of this study is to examine the factors that predict end users’ intention to adopt mobile government (m-government) services in a developing country. The research is based upon a self-administered questionnaire survey of 120 current users’ in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a leader in m-government development in the Arab world. The study employs advanced statistical techniques to test an extended the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by incorporating the determinants of trust, cost, social influence, variety of services, perceived usefulness in information technology and demographic profiles. The findings revealed that trust and social influence are positively associated with end users intention to adopt m-government services in the UAE. By identifying the predictors of users’ adoption of m-government, this study provides several theoretical and practical implications related to m-government service adoption.  相似文献

The purpose of this research is to consider how trust in and perceived risk of a mobile marketplace impact a consumer before installing a mobile application. In particular, trust is considered from the perspective of institutionalized trust, where consumers faced with ignorance rely on institutionalized mechanisms for personal safety. A bidirectional research model is presented based on trust and perceived risk as antecedents to the intent to install a mobile application. Data is collected from a survey of 214 participants and is analyzed using structural equation modeling. Results suggest that institutional loyalty plays a significant role in consumers’ intent to install mobile apps. Trust and its antecedent, security, had strong significant positive relationships with the intention to install mobile apps, while risk and its antecedent, privacy, had weak and insignificant relationships. The bidirectional model’s relationship between trust and risk was also insignificant in both directions, further suggesting that perception of risk is an insignificant factor in the intent to install mobile apps.  相似文献

Knowledge sharing can be viewed as an organizational innovation that has the potential to generate new ideas and develop new business opportunities through socialization and learning process of knowledge workers. Moreover, numerous scholars have proposed that interpersonal trust is an important facilitator of knowledge sharing. This study aims to develop a research model examining how organizational support influences the intention to facilitate knowledge sharing through organizational perceptions of innovation characteristics (perceived relative advantage and compatibility) and interpersonal trust. Data from a survey of senior executives in Taiwan were used to test the proposed research model. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to examine the validity of the measurement model, and the structural model also was analyzed to test the associations hypothesized in the research model. The results showed that organizational support is positively associated with organizational perceptions of innovation characteristics (perceived relative advantage and compatibility) and interpersonal trust, which in turn are positively related to organizational intention to facilitate knowledge sharing. Implications for organizations are also discussed.  相似文献

Rapid advances in mobile technologies and devices have made mobile banking increasingly important in mobile commerce and financial services. Using innovation diffusion theory and knowledge-based trust literature, this study develops a research model to examine the effect of innovation attributes (perceived relative advantage, ease of use and compatibility) and knowledge-based trust (perceived competence, benevolence and integrity) on attitude and behavioral intention about adopting (or continuing to use) mobile banking across potential and repeat customers. Based on a survey of 368 participants (177 for potential customers and 191 for repeat customers), this study uses a structural equation modeling approach to investigate the research model. The results indicate that perceived relative advantage, ease of use, compatibility, competence and integrity significantly influence attitude, which in turn lead to behavioral intention to adopt (or continue-to-use) mobile banking. Additionally, by using multi-group analysis with t-statistics, the results found that the antecedents of attitude toward mobile banking differ between potential and repeat customers. The implications for research and practice and future research directions are discussed.  相似文献

[目的/意义]本文基于技术接受模型,以微信信息流广告为研究对象,构建受众信任研究模型,用以分析影响微信信息流广告受众信任的相关因素。[方法/过程]通过问卷调查法共搜集196份有效问卷,利用SPASS17.0和AMOS17.0软件结合结构方程模型进行实证研究,为相关假设提供数据支持。[结果/结论]实证结果表明,感知易用性、感知精准性、感知风险和主观规范对受众信任有显著影响,且感知易用性显著正向影响感知有用性,感知有用性显著正向影响行为意愿,信任显著正向影响行为意愿,而感知有用性对信任的影响不显著。[局限]样本的代表性有待提高,模型的普适性有待进一步验证。  相似文献

This study enhances the existing literature on online trust by integrating the consumers’ product evaluations model and technology adoption model in e-commerce environments. In this study, we investigate how perceived value influences the perceptions of online trust among online buyers and their willingness to repurchase from the same website. This study proposes a research model that compares the relative importance of perceived value and online trust to perceived usefulness in influencing consumers’ repurchase intention. The proposed model is tested using data collected from online consumers of e-commerce. The findings show that although trust and e-commerce adoption components are critical in influencing repurchase intention, product evaluation factors are also important in determining repurchase intention. Perceived quality is influenced by the perceptions of competitive price and website reputation, which in turn influences perceived value; and perceived value, website reputation, and perceived risk influence online trust, which in turn influence repurchase intention. The findings also indicate that the effect of perceived usefulness on repurchase intention is not significant whereas perceived value and online trust are the major determinants of repurchase intention. Major theoretical contributions and practical implications are discussed.  相似文献
