广西北部湾海产资源丰富,生态环境多样化.而北部湾的过度开发,给广西沿海的海洋生态环境带来了不良影响,近岸海域水质的污染影响与破坏海洋生物资源生存环境,海洋过度捕捞、海水养殖扩大,影响与破坏海洋生态环境,海洋资源综合利用与管理的欠缺,阻碍了海洋生态环境的可持续发展.对广西北部湾海洋生态环境的保护对策:一是地方政府加强海洋生态环境保护的立法和规划;出台了一系列治污与减排措施;增强海洋生态环境保护意识,改变海洋生态环境保护理念;二是钦州学院为北部湾海洋生态环境保护提供基础和交流平台.  相似文献

2003~2005年茂名近海海域的有机污染物监测结果表明,茂名近岸海水养殖区和近海海域的有机污染物均未超过国家海洋和渔业用水标准。其中2003年和2004年变化较小,2005年下降较为明显,落潮期有机物污染比涨潮期相对严重,秋季海水中有机物污染较为严重,春季和夏季污染程度较低。有机物污染呈逐年下降的趋势,但是养殖区水质已受到近岸海水污染的影响。  相似文献

全球性的气候变暖不仅加速了陆地上的荒漠化速度,同时也使得“海洋沙漠”的面积在迅速扩张。被称为“海洋沙漠”的海域,其主要特征是海水表层的叶绿素含量极低,通常每立方米表层海水的叶绿素含量在0.07毫克以下。在“海洋沙漠”中,海水表层含叶绿素的生物如藻类等几乎绝迹,因此,很难为中下层海域的生物提供足够的食物营养来源。在这类海域的生态系统中,初级生产者的数量和种类极少,食物链接近断裂,基本呈现出一派死寂。  相似文献

山东半岛蓝色经济区在建设中会伴生一系列生态环境隐患,如由现代海洋产业体系的构建以及海洋工程建设、滨海旅游等引发的海域污染、海洋生态系统破坏和海洋资源枯竭问题等。为保持山东半岛海陆生态系统的完整性,推进海洋生态文明的建设,需要从现行的法律体系中寻求相关的法律依据,并分析其不足和缺陷,提出改进的建议。此外相关制度的完善对推动山东半岛蓝色经济区走生态文明发展之路至关重要,着重对海洋生态补偿机制、海洋资源有偿使用制度以及海洋功能区划制度作了论证,从而为半岛蓝色经济区的健康发展提供制度支撑。  相似文献

Scientific research exploring ocean acidification has grown significantly in past decades. However, little science education research has investigated the extent to which undergraduate science students understand this topic. Of all undergraduate students, one might predict science students to be best able to understand ocean acidification. What conceptions and misconceptions of ocean acidification do these students hold? How does their awareness and knowledge compare across disciplines? Undergraduate biology, chemistry/biochemistry, and environmental studies students, and science faculty for comparison, were assessed on their awareness and understanding. Results revealed low awareness and understanding of ocean acidification among students compared with faculty. Compared with biology or chemistry/biochemistry students, more environmental studies students demonstrated awareness of ocean acidification and identified the key role of carbon dioxide. Novel misconceptions were also identified. These findings raise the question of whether undergraduate science students are prepared to navigate socioenvironmental issues such as ocean acidification.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this article, 61 high-school students learned about ocean acidification through a virtual laboratory followed by a virtual lecture and an asynchronous discussion with a marine scientist on an online platform: VoiceThread. This study focuses on the students’ development of ocean literacy when prompted to ask questions to the scientist. The students’ questions were thematically analysed to assess (1) the kind of reasoning that can be discerned as premises of the students’ questions and (2) what possibilities for enhancing ocean literacy emerge in this instructional activity. The results show how interacting with a scientist gives the students an entry point to the world of natural sciences with its complexity, uncertainty and choices that go beyond the idealised form in which natural sciences often are presented in school. This activity offers an affordable way of bringing marine science to school by providing extensive expertise from a marine scientist. Students get a chance to mobilise their pre-existing knowledge in the field of marine science. The holistic expertise of the marine scientist allows students to explore and reason around a very wide range of ideas and aspect of natural sciences that goes beyond the range offered by the school settings.  相似文献

Calcium carbide slag, generated in the hydrolysis process of calcium carbide, is an potential carbon capture reagent because its main ingredient is Ca(OH)2. Calcium carbide slag, a by-product of a resin factory was used as carbon capture reagent. The change of pH and electrical conductivity (EC) of the calcium carbide slag slurry with different solid-to-liquid ratios, as well as the capture efficiency and dynamics under different temperatures and flow rates of CO2 were studied. The properties of solid were characterized with XRD, TG-DTA, SEM and FT-IR before and after capturing carbon. The results show that the change of pH and EC were greater with low solid-to-liquid ratio than that with high solid-to-liquid ratio. The analysis of XRD and SEM show that the content of CaCO3 increased significantly, which improved that Ca(OH)2 and free CaO were reacted with CO2. The results of TG-DTA and FT-IR show that the physicochemical properties and microstructure of the slag changed after capturing CO2 because of the increase of CaCO3 content. All the results mentioned above improve the feasibility of utilizing calcium carbide slag to capture CO2 and offer a practical way for carbon emission reduction and disposal of wasted calcium carbide slag.  相似文献

In recent years, rapid changes in the Earth's climate and environment have influenced our lives greatly. The ocean occupies 70% of the Earth's surface and is intimately related to the regulation of climate, fostering of life, and also to social economy, as well as sports and leisure. Students in the senior years of primary education are in a phase of developing value systems. Concurrently, these students are also constantly using the Earth's resources. More importantly, they will play leading roles in the next generation. From the perspective of education, the learning status of student's cognition, attitudes, and behaviors regarding protection of the marine environment must be understood more clearly to avoid future mismanagement of marine environmental problems on the part of these students. Hence, this study uses correlative, regressive, and path statistical analysis to examine data collected from questionnaires. Results show that student knowledge of and attitudes toward marine environmental protection do not have significant influences on behaviors; however, student's marine environmental protection knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors are all within the medium to high range. Because of relatively low student curricular involvement, and because involvement has no correlation with knowledge performance, this study infers that school curricula are not the main sources of student information and attitudes regarding marine environmental protection. Rather, building student attitudes toward marine environmental protection by increasing their involvement in field trips indirectly influences behaviors that are protective of the marine environment. Such an approach is comparatively more effective and can serve as a reference for modifying the implementation methods of marine protection curricula.  相似文献
