截止2010年6月,山西省辖区范围内有28家A股上市公司,从盈利能力、偿债能力、资产管理能力和成长能力四个方面,选取若干个财务指标作为上市公司业绩评价的指标体系,运用因子分析法,进行实证分析,并将上市公司按其业绩状况进行排名。研究结果显示:公司的盈利能力和短期流动能力是决定其业绩优劣的主要因素;上市公司的业绩两极分化明显;业绩优秀的大多是按照现代企业制度进行公司治理结构改制的能源类上市公司。  相似文献

沃斯价值比率模型在评价基金风险和收益时没有要求收益率必须符合严格的正态分布的假设。在借鉴沃斯价值比率模型思想基础上,选取五个风险指标和七个业绩指标作为基金的评价指标体系,并用因子分析法对沃斯价值比率模型的不足进行修正,用因子分析法确定各指标的权重,计算出基金的因子得分,对基金的绩效进行评价,为证券基金绩效评价提供了新的思路,具有重要意义。  相似文献

We examine the power associated with the test of factor mean differences when the assumption of factorial invariance is violated. Utilizing the Wald test for obtaining power, issues of model size, sample size, and total versus partial noninvariance are considered along with variation of actual factor mean differences. Results of a population study show that power is profoundly affected by true factor mean differences but is relatively unaffected by the degree of factor loading noninvariance. Inequality of sample size has a profound effect on power probabilities with power decreasing as sample sizes become increasingly disparate. Sample size variations operate such that power is uniformly lower when the group with the smaller generalized variance is associated with the smaller sample size. An increase in the number of variables yields uniformly larger power probabilities. No substantial differences are found between total and partial noninvariance. Results are related to work in the area of robustness of Hotelling's T 2 statistic and discussed in terms of asymptotic covariability of factor means and factor loadings. The Norwegian government recommends a systematic language assessment of all four-year-olds as part of the general health surveillance program for the purpose of identifying children at risk of language delay. This study aimed to investigate the construct validity of the recommended language screening tool called LANGUAGE4 [SPRÅK4] by first examining the dimensionality of the underlying construct of the tool, after which the concurrent convergent validity was established by regressing an external language factor, defined by four standardized language tests, on a single higher-order factor. The findings provide support for a higher-order model with one general language factor, suggesting that a large amount of the variance in LANGUAGE4 is attributable to a single common factor at the second-order level. Furthermore, this single factor explained a considerable amount of the variance in the external language factor. Our findings are interpreted as support for satisfactory construct validity of LANGUAGE4.  相似文献

Student evaluation of instruction and instructor performance in higher education are being accorded an increasingly prominent role in decisions concerned with faculty promotion and tenure, as well as with advisement on teaching strategies. In this context a number of factor analyses have been imposed upon student rating-instruments in order to facilitate meaningful interpretation of student judgments. The present paper reports the resul ts of a factor analysis of the rating scales used by graduate students enrolled in counselor education programs at Western Michigan University to evaluate perceived quality of instruction. A principal components factor analysis yielded three interpretable factors that were labeled Responsiveness-Rapport, Evaluation Process, and Instructional Merit. Implications of the factor structure for counselor educators are discussed.  相似文献

We present a test for cluster bias, which can be used to detect violations of measurement invariance across clusters in 2-level data. We show how measurement invariance assumptions across clusters imply measurement invariance across levels in a 2-level factor model. Cluster bias is investigated by testing whether the within-level factor loadings are equal to the between-level factor loadings, and whether the between-level residual variances are zero. The test is illustrated with an example from school research. In a simulation study, we show that the cluster bias test has sufficient power, and the proportions of false positives are close to the chosen levels of significance.  相似文献

The purpose of the present study was to test the factor structure of the McCarthy Scales of Children's Abilities in preschool children. Seventy-two boys and 69 girls between 4 and 5 years of age were tested. A factor analysis was carried out by means of the principal components method with varimax rotation. The existence of the Verbal factor and of the Perceptual-Performance factor was confirmed. The Quantitative and Memory factors appear undifferentiated. As far as the subtests which make up the Motor scale are concerned, they do not constitute a single factor. The significance of these findings is discussed.  相似文献
