文章立足科学课程目标、教学内容与“课堂辩论”方法相统一的价值视角,密切结合科学教学实践,重点从如下四个方面分析了“科学课堂辩论”的独特价值功能,即科学课堂辩论活动不仅有利于全面培养和提升学生的科学素养,而且有利于解决当前科学探究学习活动中的“悖论”问题;不仅有利于激发学生学习科学的积极性和主动性,而且有利于实现科学课堂教学环境的优化。  相似文献

实验探究和科学论证是化学教育中彼此沟通与转化的重要目标,但是在现阶段,论证在国内化学教学中严重缺失,且论证与探究相割裂。基于探究和论证的辩论式教学是以学生为主体,由学生小组从探究实验中获得证据,使用论证的方法,围绕特定辩题展开辩驳、问难、磋商,主动获取知识的教学模式。这样的辩论式教学能够同步发展学生的探究和论证能力,促进知识的迁移应用,激发批判性思维。设计公平开放且有目的性的辩题、应用图尔敏论证模型、提供辩论结构图等策略可以支持学生辩论的有效实施。  相似文献

目的:研究高专院校辩论式教学方法在中医课堂 中的应用效果。方法:选取2018届100例高专院校中医学生作 为研究对象,随机分为对照组和治疗组,对照组采用常规教学 方法’治疗组采用辩论式教学方法’对比两组学生的考试成绩。 结果:治疗组学生的考试成绩,差异具有统计学意义,P < 0.05。 结论:辩论式教学方法在课堂上的教学效果更好,可以有效提 升学生的考试成绩,值得推广。  相似文献

科学辩论是理论性探究的主要途径之一,而国内外中小学科学课堂缺少科学辩论,已成为"现代教育的严重问题"。在我国中小学科学课堂讨论中,虽然意见分歧常常出现,形成了科学辩论的契机,但科学辩论却不能有效展开。通过中美课堂案例的比较分析,提出并探讨展开课堂科学辩论的两个必要条件:第一,应避免限制学生理性思维的课堂活动预设;第二,"磋商"应成为课堂科学讨论的基本互动模式。同时,还必须对科学课堂的教学目标和师生角色都进行调整,才能满足这两个条件,在科学课堂上有效开展科学辩论。  相似文献

Scientific reasoning skills are not just for researchers, they are also increasingly relevant for making informed decisions in our everyday lives. How can these skills be facilitated? The current state of research on supporting scientific reasoning includes intervention studies but lacks an integrated analysis of the approaches to foster scientific reasoning in primary through secondary education. This meta-analysis evaluates effect sizes taken from 30 interventions in experimental and quasi-experimental studies and shows a medium mean effect of interventions on scientific reasoning. Interventions successfully facilitate scientific discovery, scientific argumentation, or nature of science in all age groups. Moderator analyses show that interventions set in constructive and interactive learning activities yield positive effects but do not differ substantially. Although the meta-analysis is limited by the number of studies included, we can conclude that scientific reasoning can successfully be facilitated and we show which characteristics are beneficial in educational interventions.  相似文献

文章基于CiteSpace知识图谱可视化分析,以CNKI数据库206篇数据素养文献为研究对象,采用关键词共现网络及聚类分析,生成数据素养领域的研究作者、研究机构、研究热点和研究时间态势的知识图谱,重点分析关键词共现网络的信息素养、教育大数据、科学数据素养、数据素养教育、科学数据等5个自动聚类,宏观揭示数据素养领域研究文献的演进路径,为进一步深化数据素养研究提供参考。研究表明:数据素养研究受国家政策驱动明显,整体研究水平还有待于提升;图书馆是数据素养教育的主阵地;数据素养研究内容以国外教育案例介绍为主,研究方法以理论研究为主,实证应用研究不足。  相似文献

Science education in recent years has increasingly emphasized the connections between knowledge and matters of social importance. Socioscientific issues (SSIs)—complex, often controversial issues linked to the development of science and technology—are widely recognized as a valuable arena for the school curriculum to foster students’ scientific literacy. This paper reviews the research literature on how science teachers teach socioscientific issues with 25 empirical studies published between 2004 and 2019. The results show that teachers generally hold a partially informed understanding of SSI-based teaching. Multifarious challenges facing teachers in teaching SSIs are mainly at the teacher, student, and policy levels. However, our findings suggest that teachers lack explicit strategies to cope with these challenges and that SSI-based teaching should not rely on individual teachers alone. We argue for more support for teachers to improve the quality of their implementation of SSIs. This review has implications for education policymakers, teacher educators, school leaders, and teachers to respond to the challenges facing teachers in teaching SSIs collaboratively. Potential directions for further research are also discussed.  相似文献

Drawing from literature in the social studies of science, this paper historicizes two pivotal concepts in science literacy: the definition of life and the assumption of objectivity. In this paper we suggest that an understanding of the historical, discursive production of scientific knowledge affects the meaning of scientific literacy in at least three ways. First, a discursive study of scientific knowledge has the epistemological consequence of avoiding the selective perception that occurs when facts are abstracted from the historical conditions of their emergence. Second, a discursive approach to scientific knowledge can also be an example of science‐as‐exploration. Third, literacy and discourse studies contribute insights that alter assumptions about pedagogical appropriateness in science education. The paper concludes by suggesting that when science literacy includes the historical production of scientific knowledge, it can thereby extend the possibilities for what can be thought, studied and imagined in the name of science education.  相似文献

This paper considers teacher resilience from the viewpoint of a discipline concerned with the interactions between work design, management style and employee health and well-being: occupational health psychology. It will be suggested that there are strong parallels between interventions designed to promote resilience and those designed to reduce work-related stress. The imperative for the latter type of intervention arises from a significant evidence base, summarised in many research studies and reviews of the scientific literature. In making this argument, this paper draws upon four sources of information: (i) the experience of employers outside the education sector in resilience building, (ii) the influence of work design and line manager behaviour on employee well-being, (iii) current British government advice to employers about reducing stress and (iv) an illustrative case study. It is argued that although robust evidence as to the effectiveness of resilience interventions in the education sector is still lacking, experience from other sectors suggest that schools might nurture resilience by improving work design and by providing appropriate training for employees and their line managers.  相似文献

In this paper I will explain what I see as some of the core attributes of Communities of Innovation, or communities fostering collaborative creativity, and what we have learned from the research literature about each attribute. There is a critical need to design learning environments that foster creative thinking in students, particularly in the area of collaborative creativity. Many of the current problems and challenges graduates will face in society and industry are too large to be faced alone. However, the research and pedagogical understanding of how to develop skills in collaborative creativity is still underdeveloped. In seeking to understand what collaborative creativity would look like in education, I reviewed the literature on organizational and social creativity, along with social learning theory, to develop a framework of characteristics common to most environments that foster collaborative creativity in students (West, 2009). This framework describing Communities of Innovation explains some of the similar characteristics at the individual, group, and organizational levels of innovative communities.  相似文献

教育研究曾长期致力于科学化的建设,把实证研究的方法运用其中,在19世纪中叶的西方曾引发了一场声势浩大的科学研究和人文研究之争。实证的科学研究以对待"物"的方式对待"人",在教育研究中已经丧失了鲜活的生命。教育是直面生命的活动,具有生命的品性。教育研究必须从实证科学的"无视生命"走向"关怀生命",这就是人文科学的"理解的教育研究范式"。  相似文献
