法官不作为有拖延办案、发现罪行不移送、不报告、不遵守程序等不同的表现形式。其原因主要是司法腐败,司法权不独立、司法行政化,以及民众的法律意识和法官的专业素质缺乏。要改革目前的法院行政管理模式,法院经费由中央财政统一管理;法官的不作为给当事人造成严重损失时,由法院、法官协会先予赔付当事人,进而再追究法官的相应责任;要加强民众的法律意识,提高法官素质。 相似文献

Reflecting on how ‘transition’ can be interpreted in the context of an art and design college, this article will discuss how the access programme at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD), Dublin supports the art students’ lifecycle in, through and out of college. The article will present an overview of NCAD’s access programme and will track its development as it has evolved and how, through a series of targeted initiatives and key partnerships it has identified, retained and supported students beyond graduation. The NCAD has a distinctive widening participation programme that is embedded in the School of Education but is part of the organic culture of the art college. This support enables the mainstreaming of NCAD’s access policy through its engagement with schools and community, seeking to raise aspirations and awareness of art and design as a life option for young people. 相似文献

The recent essay by Howard Woodhouse on Whithead and Hutchins raises important questions about the proper role of the university and the relation between colleges of arts and sciences and professional schools, particularly business schools. Woodhouse takes us most, but not all, of the way in exploring these questions. I argue that Whitehead's speculative metaphysics, not the seduction of the market, led him to include professional schools in universities. I suggest that it requires us to do so today, and I argue that only by recognizing this can we hope to counteract the logic of the market that, if anything, is even stronger today than 60 years ago. 相似文献

A student-centred approach to learning encourages students to have more responsibility for their learning and is a process that relies heavily on professional confidence to ‘let-go’ of traditional teaching responsibilities. This paper describes the introduction of a student-centred approach within one further education college in Ireland, explores the facilitation role of the lecturer and identifies strategies that have enabled effective transition from traditional pedagogical practice. The research incorporated semi-structured interviews with five lecturers who adopted student-centred learning in their teaching, focus group sessions with 36 students who engaged in a student-centred module and two classroom observations. The research identified some common understanding of a student-centred approach, although the emphasis differed slightly between lecturers and students, highlighting some implications for on-going practice. 相似文献

In this essay Robert Davis provides a critical roadmap, which is also a genealogy, for understanding and examining the history of both the humanities and education in them. It relates appraisal of the so‐called “crisis” in contemporary teaching of the humanities to a deeper understanding of crisis as a condition for periodic reassessment and renewal of the humanities that has recurred at a number of key historical conjunctures since the early modern period, most notably at the end of the Thirty Years' War in 1648 and at the coming of industrialization and mass education more than a century later. Davis focuses on the traditionalist defense of the humanities as a route to the humane while also acknowledging the power of the poststructuralist critique of this agenda and its complicity with the moral failures of Western society and imperialism. He concludes the essay by advocating a position “beyond critique” where the humanities and education in them can attain a new universalism and material relevance. 相似文献
