A new concept of low-cost direct air capture technology integrated with a fertilization system is proposed, as an alternative to the application of air derived CO2. A moisture swing sorbent can elevate the CO2 concentration from 400 parts per million (ppm) to several thousand ppm, and this can be used to cultivate plants. Desorption isotherms were determined and are described well by a Langmuir model. The adsorption rate constant and the desorption rate constant were gained at 25 °C, 35 °C, and 45 °C under 1000 ppm concentration of CO2. In accelerated cultivation experiments, the effects of CO2 concentration, light intensity, and spectrum on the CO2 uptake rate of the plants were investigated. A multi-bed desorption system which is capable of providing a continuous and stable CO2 supply for a greenhouse is demonstrated based on the desorption characteristic and CO2 uptake feature of plants. An energy and cost assessment for the integrated system was performed and the results indicated that minimum energy requirements and cost estimate of CO2 are 35.67 kJ/mol and 34.68 USD/t, respectively. This makes direct air capture a competitive and sustainable carbon source for agriculture.  相似文献

Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain (AS 1.50) and Bacillus subtilis strain (AS 1.439) from Ming lake were decomposed by photocatalytic nanostructure N-TiO2 thin films in a photo-reactor under UV irradiation. The different thickness nanostructure N-TiO2 thin films coated on mesh grid were prepared by sol-gel method and immobilized at 500 ℃ (films A) or 350 ℃ (films B) for 1 h in a muffle furnace. The results showed that N-TiO2 thin film B (8.18 nm thickness, 2.760 nm height and 25.15 nm diameter) has more uniform granular nanostructure and thinner flat texture than N-TiO2 thin film A (12.17 nm thickness, 3.578 nm height and 27.50 nm diameter). The bactericidal action of N-TiO2 thin film A and film B for Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain (AS 1.50) and Bacillus subtilis varniger strain (AS1.439) were investigated in this work. More than 95% of photocatalytic bactericidal efficiency for Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain (AS 1.50) and 75% for Bacillus subtilis strain (AS 1.439) were achieved by using N-TiO2 thin films-B for 70-80 rain of irradiation during the photo-bactericidal experimental process. The results indicated that the photo-induced bactericidal efficiency of N-TiO2 thin films probably depended on the characteristics of the films.  相似文献

The production of elastase by Bacillus sp. EL31410 at various temperatures was investigated. In order to study the effect of temperature on elastase fermentation, different cultivation temperatures, ranging from 39 °C to 28 °C, were evaluated in shake flask. The result indicated that 37 °C was best for cell growth at earlier stage; while maximum elastase activity was obtained when the cells were cultivated at 30 °C. This result was verified by batch fermentation in 5-L bioreactor under 37 °C and 30 °C temperature, respectively. The specific cell growth rate at 37 °C was higher than that at 30 °C during earlier stage of cultivation. The maximum value [5.5 U/(h·g DCW)] of elastase formation rate occurred at 24 h at 30 °C compared to 4.6 U/(h·g DCW) at 30 h at 37 °C. Based on these results, two-stage temperature shift strategy and oscillatory temperature cultivation mode were evaluated in the next study. When compared to single temperature of 37 °C or 30 °C, both two-stage temperature shift strategy and oscillatory temperature strategy improved biomass but did not yield the same result as expected for elastase production. The maximum biomass (both 8.6 g/L) was achieved at 30 h at 37 °C, but at 42 h using two-stage temperature cultivation strategy. The highest elastase production (652 U/ml) was observed at 30 °C in batch process. It was concluded that cultivation at constant temperature of 30 °C was appropriate for elastase production by Bacillus sp. EL31410. Waste hops are good sources of flavonoids. Extraction of flavonoids from waste hops (SC-CO2 extracted hops) using supercritical fluids technology was investigated. Various temperatures, pressures and concentrations of ethanol (modifier) and the ratio (w/w) of solvent to material were tested in this study. The results of single factor and orthogonal experiments showed that at 50°C, 25 MPa, the ratio of solvent to material (50%), ethanol concentration (80%) resulted in maximum extraction yield flavonoids (7.8 mg/g). HPLC-MS analysis of the extracts indicated that flavonoids obtained were xanthohumol, the principal prenylflavonoid in hops. Single crystal Ga x In1−x As films have grown up on GaAs(100) substrate at 375°C and on InP(100) substrate at 390°C, respectively, by the method of rf-sputtering with using undoped GalnAs polycrystal as target. However, on Si(100) or Si(111) substrates at 260–390°C, even at 465°C, only polycrystalline films were obtained. In addition, the structure, composition, electrical characteristic and optical properties of the Ga x In1−x As films were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), reflection of high energy electron diffraction (RHEED), energy dispersion analyzer of X-ray (EDAX), Hall measurements and spectroscopic ellipsometry.  相似文献

A Gram-negative, aerobic, non-motile, rod-shaped bacterial strain, designated 25-1T, was isolated from the air inside giant panda enclosures at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, China. Strain 25-1T grew optimally at pH 7.0–8.0, at 28–30 °C and in the presence of NaCl concentrations from 0.0% to 0.5 %. 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis indicated that strain 25-1T belongs to the genus Chryseobacterium within the family Flavobacteriaceae and is related most closely to C. carnis G81T (96.4% similarity), C. lathyri RBA2-6T (95.8% similarity), and C. zeae JM1085T (95.8% similarity). Its genomic DNA G+C molar composition was 36.2%. The major cellular fatty acids were iso-C15:0 (44.0%), iso-C17:0 3OH (19.8%) and C16:1 ω7c/16:1 ω6c (12.7%). The only isoprenoid quinone was menaquinone 6 (MK-6). The major polar lipids were phosphatidylethanolamine, two unidentified amino lipids and two unidentified lipids. The DNA-DNA relatedness between strain 25-1T and C. lathyri RBA2-6T was 38%. Phenotypic, genotypic, and phylogenetic characteristics indicated that strain 25-1T is a novel member of the genus Chryseobacterium, for which the name C. chengduensis sp. nov. is proposed. MBE growth of ZnSxSe1−x thin films on ITO coated glass substrates were carried out using ZnS and Se sources with the substrate temperature ranging from 270°C to 330°C. The XRD σ/2σ spectra resulted from these films indicated that the as-grown polycrystalline ZnSxSe1−x thin films had a preferred orientation along the (111) planes. The evaluated crystal sizes as deduced from the FWHM of the XRD layer peaks showed strong growth temperature dependence, with the optimized temperature being about 290 °C. Both AFM and TEM measurements of these thin films also indicated a similar growth temperature dependence. High quality ZnSxSe1−x thin film grown at the optimized temperature had the smoothest surface with lowest RMS value of 1.2 nm and TEM cross-sectional micrograph showing a well defined columnar structure. Hydantoinase and N-carbamoylase play important roles in the production of optically pure amino acids from racemic 5-monosubstituted hydantoins. In this report, hydantoinase and the N-carbamoylase from Burkholderia cepecia, njut01 were purified to homogeneity by chromatography (Pharmacia Explorer 100 system). The substrate specificity, enantioselectivity, pH dependence of activity and temperature stability of the activity were characterized. The results show that the hydantoinase and N-carbamoylase induced from Burkholderia cepecia, njut01 are both strict D-stereo selective enzymes. They both hydrolyze substrates with side chains containing aliphatic and aromatic residues with higher activity and affinity toward aromatic than aliphatic substituted substrates. The hydantoinase is a homotetramer with subtmit molecular weight near 52,000 and is active between pH 6.5 and 10 with an optimum near pH 9.0. The enzyme is active at temperatures up to 60~C, however, it appears instable at higher temperatures. The subunit molecular weight of N-carbamoylase is about 35KD. The N-carbamoylase is active in the pH range from 6.0 to 9.5. The optira-pH is 7.2 and the optinfizing bioconversion temperature of the N-carbamyolase is 52℃.  相似文献

The performance of Al-alloy anode in 4 mol/L KOH with and without stannate and o-aminophenol at 25℃ and 55℃ was studied by hydrogen collection, potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectrum, o-aminophenol acts as a perfect inhibitor because of its adsorbability and forming chelate complex at its optimum concentration of 0.4 mol/L. Stannate enhances the inhibition of o-aminophenol and improves the activity of Al-alloy because of its reduction to tin. There is synergetic effect of stannate with o-aminophenol on the behavior of Al-alloy, and the inhibitive efficiency at 55℃ is better than that at 25 ℃.  相似文献

The failure mode and adhesion of thermal barrier coating (TBC) 8YSZ (ZrO2+8% (w/w) Y2O3) deposited on NiCoCrAlTaY bond coat by atmospheric plasma spraying were investigated. A grooved modified three-point bending specimen that can generate a single interface crack to facilitate the control of crack growth was adopted for testing, which was conducted at the ambient temperature of 100 °C. The morphology and composition of fractured surfaces were examined by means of a scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and an energy disperse spectroscopy (EDS). Images and spectrum show that cracks are initiated and propagated exclusively within YSZ layer adjacent to top/bond coat interface. The load-displacement curves obtained exhibit similar shapes that indicate two distinct stages in crack initiation and stable crack growth. Finite element analyses were performed to extract the adhesion strength of the TBCs. The delamination toughness of the plasma-sprayed 8YSZ coatings at 100 °C, in terms of critical strain energy release rate Gc, can be reliably obtained from an analytical solution.  相似文献

In this study, we used a simple impregnation method to prepare Fe–Ce–O x catalysts and tested them regarding their low-temperature (200–300 °C) selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO using NH3. We investigated the effects of Fe/Ce molar ratio, the gas hourly space velocity (GHSV), the stability and SO2/H2O resistance of the catalysts. The results showed that the FeCe(1:6)O x (Ce/Fe molar ratio is 1:6) catalyst, which has some ordered parallel channels, exhibited good SCR performance. The FeCe(1:6)O x catalyst had the highest NO conversion with an activity of 94–99% at temperatures between 200 and 300 °C at a space velocity of 28,800 h?1. The NO conversion for the FeCe(1:6)O x catalyst also reached 80–98% between 200 and 300 °C at a space velocity of 204,000 h?1. In addition, the FeCe(1:6)O x catalyst demonstrated good stability in a 10-h SCR reaction at 200–300 °C. Even in the presence of SO2 and H2O, the FeCe(1:6)O x catalyst exhibited good SCR performance.  相似文献

Sweetpotato starch thermal properties and its noodle quality were analyzed using a rapid predictive method based on near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS). This method was established based on a total of 93 sweetpotato genotypes with diverse genetic background. Starch samples were scanned by NIRS and analyzed for quality properties by reference methods. Results of statistical modelling indicated that NIRS was reasonably accurate in predicting gelatinization onset temperature (To) (standard error of prediction SEP=2.014 ℃, coefficient of determination RSQ=0.85), gelatinization peak temperature (Tp) (SEP=-1.371 ℃, RSQ=0.89), gelatinization temperature range (Tr) (SEP=2.234 ℃, RSQ=0.86), and cooling resistance (CR) (SEP=0.528, RSQ=0.89). Gelatinization completion temperature (To), enthalpy of gelatinization (△H), cooling loss (CL) and swelling degree (SWD), were modelled less well with RSQ between 0.63 and 0.84. The present results suggested that the NIRS based method was sufficiently accurate and practical for routine analysis of sweetpotato starch and its noodle quality.  相似文献

Ethylene/1-hexene was copolymerized by an unbridged zirconocene, (2-PhInd)2ZrCl2/MAO (methyl aluminoxane) at 0°C and 50°C respectively. High copolymerization activity and 1-hexene incorporation were observed at 0°C, with the copolymer formed having random sequence distribution and narrow molecular weight distribution. Ethylene polymerization at 50°C showed high activity, but copolymerization at 50°C showed much lower activity, which decreased sharply with increasing 1-hexene concentration in the monomer feed. Copolymer formed at 50°C showed blocky sequence distribution and broad molecular weight distribution. A mechanism model based on ligand rotation hindered by the propagation chain has been proposed to qualitatively explain the observed phenomena. Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) precursor films were deposited on Mo/glass by electrodeposition, and then annealed in Se vapor. The annealing temperature ranged from 450 °C to 580 °C, and two heating rates were selected. The results showed that the crystalline quality of the CIGS films and formation of the Cu-Se compound could be strongly influenced by the selenization temperature and heating rate. Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis showed that when the selenization temperature was increased from 450 °C to 550 °C, the amount of binary CuSe phase decreased and the amount of Cu2Se increased. After annealing at 580 °C, a minimum amount of Cu2?xSe compounds was obtained and the degree of CIGS film crystallinity was higher than in other samples. The relationship between the properties of the film and the heating rate was studied. XRD and Raman spectra showed a decrease in the Cu2?xSe phase with increasing heating rate. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and XRD showed a remarkable increase in the grain size of CIGS during rapid heating.  相似文献

Using SnxTi1-xO2 as carriers, CuO/Sn0.9Ti0.1O2 and CuO/Sn0.7Ti0.3O2 catalysts with different loading amounts of copper oxide (CuO) were prepared by an impregnation method. The catalytic properties of CuO/Sn0.9Ti0.1O2 and CuO/Sn0.7Ti0.3O2 were examined using a microreactor-gas chromatography (GC) NO CO reaction system and the methods of BET (Brun- auer-Emmett-Teller), TG-DTA (themogravimetric and differential thermal analysis), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and H2-temperature programmed reduction (TPR). The results showed that NO conversions of Sn0.9Ti0.1O2 and Sn0.7Ti0.3O2 were 47.2% and 43.6% respectively, which increased to 95.3% and 90.9% at 6 wt% CuO loading. However, further increase in CuO loading caused a decrease in the catalytic activity. The nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherm and pore-size distribution curve of Sn0.9Ti0.1O2 and Sn0.7Ti0.3O2 represented type IV of the BDDT (Brunauer, Deming, Deming and Teller) system and a typical mesoporous sample. There were two CuO diffraction peaks (2θ 35.5° and 38.7°), and the diffraction peak areas increased with increasing CuO loading. TPR analysis also detected three peaks (α, β and γ) from the CuO-loaded catalysts, suggesting that the α peak was the reduction of the highly dispersed copper oxide, the β peak was the reduction of the isolated copper oxide, and the γ peak was the reduction of crystal phase copper oxide. In addition, a fourth peak (δ) of the catalysts meant that the SnxTi1-xO2 mixed oxides could be reductive.  相似文献

In this study we aimed to analyze the effects of water temperature and diet on the length-weight relationship and condition of juvenile Malabar blood snapper Lutjanus malabaricus over a 30-d experimental period. The experiment was conducted in the laboratory using a flow-through-sea-water system. The fish were subjected to four different temperatures (22, 26, 30, and 34 °C) and two diets (commercial pellet and natural shrimp). Fish were fed twice daily. L. malabaricus exhibited negative allometric growth (b<3) at the beginning of the experiment (Day 0) at all temperatures and both diets except for 22 °C fed with shrimp, which showed isometric growth (b=3). Conversely, at the end of the experiment (Day 30) fish showed isometric growth (b=3) at 30 °C fed with the pellet diet, indicating that the shape of the fish did not change with increasing weight and length, and a positive allometric growth (b>3) at 30 °C fed with shrimp diet, which indicated that fish weight increases faster than their length. The rest of the temperatures represented negative allometric growth (b<3) on both diet, meaning that fish became lighter with increasing size. The condition factors in the initial and final measurements were greater than 1, indicating the state of health of the fish, except for those fed on a pellet diet at 34 °C. However, the best condition was obtained at 30 °C on both diets. Nevertheless, diets did not have a significant effect on growth and condition of juvenile L. malabaricus. The data obtained from this study suggested culturing L. malabaricus at 30 °C and feeding on the pellet or shrimp diet, which will optimize the overall production and condition of this commercially important fish species.  相似文献

Ethene/norbornene copolymerization by the catalyst system [Me2Si(3-tertBuCp)(NtertBu)]TiCl2/MAO was investigated in detail at 30 °C, 60 °C, and 90 °C. A mass flow controller was used in this work to obtain kinetic data and investigate temperature's effects on activity, norbornene incorporation, copolymerization parameter, microstructure, glass transition temperature, and molar masses were described. High copolymerization valuesr ξ and high alternation are determined. The number of isotactic alternating sequences is much higher than that of the syndiotactic alternating sequences.  相似文献

Well-cubic perovskite lanthanum aluminate (LaAlO3) film on (110) silicon substrate was fabricated by sol-gel method with corresponding inorganic salts. Lanthanum acetate and aluminum acetate glacial acetic acid solutions were prepared via ligand exchange starting from lanthanum nitrate hexahydrate and aluminum nitrate hexahydrate after being refluxed. (CH3CO)2O removed nitrates and the crystallized H2O completely, acetylacetone (AcAc) was partially bidentated with metallic ion of the metallic acetates and formed La(OAc)3−x (AcAc) x which were hydrolyzed into La(AcAc)3−x(OH) x by adding 10 ml 0.4% methyl cellulose (MCL) solution. The La(AcAc)3−x (OH) x , polymerizing and combining with MCL, formed the LaAlO3 sol precursor with heteropolymeric structure and formed film easily. The epitaxial LaAlO3 film on Si(110) substrate was crystallized after being annealed in thermal annealing furnace for 650–750 °C/30 min. The morphologies and microstructures were characterized. The refractive index of the LAO film was 1.942 to 2.007; the dielectric constant and the dissipation factors were estimated to be 23–26 and 2.1×10−4−2.4×10−4 respectively.
