In this paper, the development and experimental validation of a novel double two-loop nonlinear controller based on adaptive neural networks for a quadrotor are presented. The proposed controller has a two-loop structure: an outer loop for position control and an inner loop for attitude control. Similarly, both position and orientation controllers also have a two-loop design with an adaptive neural network in each inner loop. The output weight matrices of the neural networks are updated online through adaptation laws obtained from a rigorous error convergence analysis. Thus, a training stage is unnecessary prior to the neural network implementation. Additionally, an integral action is included in the controller to cope with constant disturbances. The error convergence analysis guarantees the achievement of the trajectory tracking task and the boundedness of the output weight matrix estimation errors. The proposed scheme is designed such that an accurate knowledge of the quadrotor parameters is not needed. A comparison against the proposed controller and two other well-known schemes is presented. The obtained results showed the functionality of the proposed controller and demonstrated robustness to parametric uncertainty.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the high performance adaptive robust control problem for an aircraft load emulator (LE). High dynamic capability is a key performance index of load emulator. However, physical load emulators exist a lot of nonlinearities and modeling uncertainties, which are the main obstacles for achieving high performance of load emulator. To handle the modeling uncertainty and achieve adjustable model-based compensation, firstly, the mathematical model of the load emulator is built, and then a nonlinear adaptive robust controller only with output feedback signal is proposed to improve the tracking accuracy and dynamic response capability. The controller is constructed based on the adaptive robust control framework with necessary design modifications required to accommodate uncertainties and nonlinearities of hydraulic load emulator. In this approach, nonlinearities are canceled by output feedback signal; and modeling errors, including parametric uncertainties and uncertain nonlinearities, are dealt with adaptive control and robust control respectively. The resulting controller guarantees a prescribed disturbance attenuation capability in general while achieving asymptotic output tracking in the absence of time-varying uncertainties. Experimental results are obtained to verify the high performance nature of the proposed control strategy, especially the high dynamic capability.  相似文献

Previously proposed adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control (AFSMC) and adaptive fuzzy sliding mode observer (AFSMO) methods are mixed and extended for the case of affine systems in which the input gain matrix is state-dependent, non-diagonal and non-positive definite. The proposed Extended AFSMCO (E-AFSMCO) method is then applied for position control of a Stewart Manipulator (SM), whose parameters are strongly state-dependent and complex and not suitable for practical control purposes. A robust observer-based control method which can work with a simplified model of the plant, and at the same time can preserve the stability and performance of the overall complex system is of great need. In this study, the SM dynamic model is simplified by removing the dynamic effects of the legs and the neglected terms are considered as un-modeled dynamics, for which the upper bound of the uncertainty is progressively estimated using the proposed adaptation rules. The final controller is comprised of a fuzzy controller in parallel with a robust switching controller. The second Lyapunov theorem is used to prove the closed-loop asymptotic stability. The proposed E-AFSMCO method is verified numerically and experimentally, depicting the effectiveness of the method for real-time industrial applications.  相似文献

This paper studies output feedback control of hydraulic actuators with modified continuous LuGre model based friction compensation and model uncertainty compensation. An output feedback adaptive robust controller is constructed which combines the adaptive control part and the robust control part seamlessly. The adaptive part is constructed to handle the parametric uncertainties existed in the model. The residuals coming from parameter adaption and the unmodeled dynamics are taken into consideration by the robust part. Since only the position signal is available, the velocity, pressure, and internal friction states are obtained by observation or estimation. The errors coming from observation and estimation are also dealt with the robust part. Furthermore, the convergence of the closed-loop controller–observer scheme is achieved by the Lyapunov method in the presence of parametric uncertainties only. Extensive comparative experiments performed on a hydraulic actuator demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller–observer scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, a sensorless speed control for interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (IPMSM) is designed by combining a robust backstepping controller with integral actions and an adaptive interconnected observer. The IPMSM control design generally requires rotor position measurement. Then, to eliminate this sensor, an adaptive interconnected observer is designed to estimate the rotor position and the speed. Moreover, a robust nonlinear control based on the backstepping algorithm is designed where an integral action is introduced in order to improve the robust properties of the controller. The stability of the closed-loop system with the observer–controller scheme is analyzed and sufficient conditions are given to prove the practical stability. Simulation results are shown to illustrate the performance of the proposed scheme under parametric uncertainties and low speed. Furthermore, the proposed integral backstepping control is compared with the classical backstepping controller.  相似文献

An adaptive autopilot to control a skid-to-turn missile during its boost phase is designed using the state-dependent Riccati equation (SDRE) method and neural networks (NN). To address the rapid changes in parameters during the boost phase, the translational and rotational motions of the missile are modeled with time-varying velocity and inertial parameters. The autopilot with a two-loop structure is designed to perform integrated roll-pitch-yaw control of the missile with cross-coupled dynamics; each loop has a baseline controller and an adaptive controller. The baseline controller is designed using the SDRE method for reference command tracking in a nominal environment, and the adaptive controller is designed based on NN to manage uncertainty during the boost phase. Stability analysis of the closed-loop system is performed, and the performance of the proposed autopilot is demonstrated by numerical simulation.  相似文献

In this paper, the consensus control problem of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy multiagent systems (MASs) is investigated by using an observer based distributed adaptive sliding mode control. A distributed nonfragile observer is put forward to estimate the unmeasured state of agents. Based on such an observer, a novel distributed integral sliding surface is designed to suppress the disturbance and uncertainty of T-S fuzzy MASs. In order to achieve the consensus objective, a nominal distributed protocol and an adaptive sliding mode controller are separately designed. Futhermore, the nominal distributed protocol solves the consensus control problem of T-S fuzzy MASs in the absence of disturbance and uncertainty by using the information of adjacent agents obtained by the observer, while the adaptive sliding mode controller suppresses the disturbance and uncertainty. Finally, the proposed method is applied to two examples. Example 1 verifies the superiority of the method by comparing with the fuzzy-based dynamic sliding mode controller. Example 2 is used to illustrate that our control scheme can effectively solve the consensus control problem of T-S fuzzy MASs.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop two new model reference adaptive control (MRAC) schemes for a class of nonlinear dynamic systems that is robust with respect to an uncertain state (output) dependent nonlinear perturbations and/or external disturbances with unknown bounds. The design is based on a controller parametrization with an adaptive integral action. Two types of adaptive controllers are considered—the state feedback controller with a plant parameter identifier, and the output feedback controller with a linear observer.  相似文献

Model reference adaptive control algorithms with minimal controller synthesis have proven to be an effective solution to tame the behaviour of linear systems subject to unknown or time-varying parameters, unmodelled dynamics and disturbances. However, a major drawback of the technique is that the adaptive control gains might exhibit an unbounded behaviour when facing bounded disturbances. Recently, a minimal controller synthesis algorithm with an integral part and either parameter projection or σ-modification strategies was proposed to guarantee boundedness of the adaptive gains. In this article, these controllers are experimentally validated for the first time by using an electro-mechanical system subject to significant rapidly varying disturbances and parametric uncertainty. Experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the modified minimal controller synthesis methods to keep the adaptive control gains bounded while providing, at the same time, tracking performances similar to that of the original algorithm.  相似文献

This work aims to design a neural network-based fractional-order backstepping controller (NNFOBC) to control a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle (QUAV) system under uncertainties and disturbances and unknown dynamics. First, we investigated the dynamic of QUAV composed of six inter-connected nonlinear subsystems. Then, to increase the convergence speed and control precision of the classical backstepping controller (BC), we design a fractional-order BC (FOBC) that provides further degrees of freedom in the control parameters for every subsystem. Besides, designing control is a challenge as the FOBC requires knowledge of accurate mathematical model and the physical parameters of QUAV system. To address this problem, we propose an adaptive approximator that is a radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) included in FOBC to fix the unknown dynamics problem which results in the new approach NNFOBC. Furthermore, a robust control term is introduced to increase the tracking performance of a reference signal as parametric uncertainties and disturbances occur. We have used Lyapunov's theorem to derive adaptive laws of control parameters. Finally, the outcoming results confirm that the performance of the proposed NNFOBC controller outperforms both the classical BC , FOBC and a neural network-based classical BC controller (NNBC) and under parametric uncertainties and disturbances.  相似文献

A novel adaptive sliding-mode control system is proposed in order to control the speed of an induction motor drive. This design employs the so-called vector (or field oriented) control theory for the induction motor drives. The sliding-mode control is insensitive to uncertainties and presents an adaptive switching gain to relax the requirement for the bound of these uncertainties. The switching gain is adapted using a simple algorithm which does not imply a high computational load. Stability analysis based on Lyapunov theory is also performed in order to guarantee the closed loop stability. Finally, simulation results show not only that the proposed controller provides high-performance dynamic characteristics, but also that this scheme is robust with respect to plant parameter variations and external load disturbances.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problem of dynamic surface asymptotic tracking for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems preceded by Bouc–Wen type of hysteresis nonlinearity. By introducing the nonlinear filters with a positive time-varying integral function, a novel robust adaptive control algorithm is presented without constructing the hysteresis inverse. Unlike some existing adaptive control schemes for systems with input hysteresis, the proposed controller not only solves the issue of “explosion of complexity” inherent in the recursive procedure, but also produces the asymptotic tracking in spite of input hysteresis and external disturbances. Finally, two simulation examples are presented to confirm the effectiveness of the developed control strategy.  相似文献

Modeling uncertainties including parameter uncertainty and unmodeled dynamics hinder the development of high-performance tracking controller for hydraulic servo system. The observation for the unknown state is another issue worthy of attention. In this paper, a new seamless observer-controller scheme for hydraulic servo system is proposed with partial feedback. The position signal and the pressure signal are firstly used to build an extended structure estimation system for the unknown state. The advantage of this estimation system is that the state observer provides an extended structure for the parameter adaptation compared to other state observers. Thus the parameter uncertainty can be handled. An adaptive robust controller is synthesized in this paper which includes the adaptive part and the robust part. The adaptive part is used to eliminate the parameter uncertainty. Then the residuals coming from the parameter adaption and the errors coming from the state observation are taken into consideration in the robust part. Moreover, the unmodeled dynamics is also handled by the robust part. Theoretical analysis proves that a prescribed transient performance and the final tracking accuracy can be guaranteed by the proposed observer-controller scheme in the presence of both parameter uncertainty and unmodeled dynamics. Furthermore, the convergence of the closed-loop controller-observer system is achieved with the parametric uncertainty existed only. Extensive comparative experiments performed on a hydraulic actuator demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed observer-controller scheme.  相似文献

This paper addresses the challenge of delayed proportional integral control (DPIC) of an offshore steel jacket platform (OSJP) subjected to a self-excited nonlinear wave force and structural uncertainty using the unified criteria. By introducing discrete and distributed state delays in the control input, a DPIC was established to stabilize the OSJPs. The goal of this study is to design a proper controller that will stabilize the dynamic of an OSJP while subjected to structural uncertainty and nonlinear wave force. The OSJP is investigated as a nonlinear dynamics with mixed state delays, allowing us to study its robust asymptotic stability using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii function (LKF) in the context of the extended dissipativity performance index. A novel closed-loop system-based stability criterion is derived as a result of using tighter integral inequalities to estimate the upper bounds of the delay and influential control gains can be achieved if a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is checked by simulation results, that the proposed control scheme can significantly improve the control’s performance. Finally, it was demonstrated that the proposed control approach is more effective and multi-dynamic performances have been illustrated through the comparisons to previously published results in the literature.  相似文献

A novel hierarchical coordination control strategy (HCCS) is offered to guarantee the stability of four-wheel drive electric vehicles (4WD-EVs) combining the Unscented Kalman filter (UKF). First, a dynamics model of the 4WD-EVs is established, and the UKF-based estimator of sideslip angle and yaw rate is constructed concurrently. Second, the equivalent cornering stiffness coefficients are jointly estimated to consider the impact of vehicle uncertainty parameters on the estimator design. Afterwards, a HCCS with two-level controller is presented. The sideslip angle and yaw rate are controlled by an adaptive backstepping-based yaw moment controller, and the computational burden is relieved by an improved adaptive neural dynamic surface control technology in the upper-level controller. Simultaneously, the optimal torque distribution controller of hub motors is developed to optimize the adhesion utilization ratio of tire in the lower-level controller. Finally, the proposed HCCS has shown effective improvement in the trajectory tracking capability and yaw stability of the 4WD-EVs under various maneuver conditions compared with the traditional Luenberger observer-based and the federal-cubature Kalman filter-based hierarchical controller.  相似文献

This paper aims to develop a robust optimal control method for longitudinal dynamics of missile systems with full-state constraints suffering from mismatched disturbances by using adaptive dynamic programming (ADP) technique. First, the constrained states are mapped by smooth functions, thus, the considered systems become nonlinear systems without state constraints subject to unknown approximation error. In order to estimate the unknown disturbances, a nonlinear disturbance observer (NDO) is designed. Based on the output of disturbance observer, an integral sliding mode controller (ISMC) is derived to counteract the effects of disturbances and unknown approximation error, thus ensuring the stability of nonlinear systems. Subsequently, the ADP technique is utilized to learn an adaptive optimal controller for the nominal systems, in which a critic network is constructed with a novel weight update law. By utilizing the Lyapunov's method, the stability of the closed-loop system and the convergence of the estimation weight for critic network are guaranteed. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed controller are demonstrated by using longitudinal dynamics of a missile.  相似文献

Gas flow has fractional order dynamics; therefore, it is reasonable to assume that the pneumatic systems with a proportional valve to regulate gas flow have fractional order dynamics as well. There is a hypothesis that the fractional order control has better control performance for this inherent fractional order system, although the model used for fractional controller design is integer order. To test this hypothesis, a fractional order sliding mode controller is proposed to control the pneumatic position servo system, which is based on the exponential reaching law. In this method, the fractional order derivative is introduced into the sliding mode surface. The stability of the controller is proven using Lyapunov theorem. Since the pressure sensor is not required, the control system configuration is simple and inexpensive. The experimental results presented indicate the proposed method has better control performance than the fractional order proportional integral derivative (FPID) controller and some conventional integral order control methods. Points to be noticed here are that the fractional order sliding mode control is superior to the integral order sliding mode counterpart, and the FPID is superior to the corresponding integral order PID, both with optimal parameters. Among all the methods compared, the proposed method achieves the highest tracking accuracy. Moreover, the proposed controller has less chattering in the manipulated variable, the energy consumption of the controller is therefore substantially reduced.  相似文献

In this paper, a decentralized adaptive backstepping control scheme is proposed for a class of interconnected systems with nonlinear multisource disturbances and actuator faults. The nonlinear multisource disturbances comprise of two parts: one is the time-varying parameterized uncertainty; the other is the dynamic unexpected signal formulated by a nonlinear exogenous system. For each subsystem, the disturbances are compensated by an adaptive controller based on several dynamic signals and the bound estimation approach. Moreover, the effect of the actuator faults is tackled in spite of the fact that the faults may change in different cases infinite times. Meanwhile, through several smooth functions, the interactions among the subsystems are successfully disposed. As a result, the tracking errors can converge to an arbitrarily small value by choosing the design parameters appropriately. The proof of the closed-loop system stability is completed. Several illustrative examples are employed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

The problem of position tracking for a tank gun control system with inertia uncertainty and external disturbance is investigated in this paper. The tank gun control system, demanding high tracking precision and stabilization precision, is a nonlinear system. Classical control methods are commonly used in the actual system, which is difficult to ensure high precision and high disturbance rejection capability. An active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) scheme is applied to guarantee the state variables of the closed loop system to converge to the reference state with the help of the extended state observer by estimating the inertia uncertainty and external disturbance. The basic theory of the ADRC is introduced here. According to the mathematical model, the parameters of ADRC are designed. Also, simulation results show that ADRC controller has advantages of high precision and high disturbance rejection ability. A comparison between ADRC and PID is also presented to show the effectiveness of the ADRC control strategy.  相似文献
