This paper presents new exponential stability and stabilization conditions for a class of uncertain linear time-delay systems. The unknown norm-bounded uncertainties and the delays are time-varying. Based on an improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional combined with Leibniz-Newton formula, the robust stability conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which allows to compute simultaneously the two bounds that characterize the exponential stability rate of the solution. The result can be extended to uncertain systems with time-varying multiple delays. The effectiveness of the two stability bounds and the reduced conservatism of the conditions are shown by numerical examples.  相似文献

The problem of robust stabilization for a class of dynamic systems with time-varying state delay as well as parametric and input uncertainties is considered in this paper. Several delay-independent stabilizability criteria and memoryless state feedback controllers are presented to guarantee the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop uncertain time-delay systems. It is shown that if all uncertainties and delay terms are matched, then the mentioned systems can always be stabilized, or can be stabilized with a specified decaying rate.  相似文献

In this paper, we first deal with the robust stability of uncertain linear stochastic differential delay systems. The parameter uncertainties are time-varying and unknown but are norm-bounded via two types of uncertainties, and the delays are time invariant. We then extend the proposed theory to discuss the robust stabilization of uncertain stochastic differential delay systems. These results are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Two examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness.  相似文献

In this paper, we study average consensus problem in networks of dynamic agents with uncertain topologies as well as time-varying communication delays. By using the linear matrix inequality method, we establish several sufficient conditions for average consensus in the existence of both uncertainties and delays. Several linear matrix inequality conditions are presented to determine the allowable upper bounds of time-varying communication delays and uncertainties. Numerical examples are worked out to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of stability analysis for linear systems with time-varying delays is considered. By the consideration of new augmented Lyapunov functionals, improved delay-dependent stability criteria for asymptotic stability of the system are proposed for two cases of conditions on time-varying delays with the framework of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be solved easily by various efficient convex optimization algorithms. The enhancement of the feasible region of the proposed criteria is shown via three numerical examples by the comparison of maximum delay bounds.  相似文献

In this paper, the robust exponential stability of uncertain impulsive delay difference equations is investigated. First, some robust exponential stability criteria for uncertain impulsive delay difference equations with continuous time in which the state variables on the impulses may relate to the time-varying delays are provided. Then a robust exponential stability result for uncertain linear impulsive delay difference equations with discrete time is given. Some examples, including an example which cannot be studied by the existing results, are also presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.  相似文献

This paper investigates consensus problem for heterogeneous discrete linear time-invariant (LTI) multi-agent systems subjected to time-varying network communication delays and switching topology. A new two-stage consensus protocol is proposed based on stochastic, indecomposable and aperiodic (SIA) matrix and pseudo predictive scheme. With pseudo predictive scheme the network delay is compromised. Consensus analysis based on seminorm is provided. Results give conditions for such systems with periodic switching topology and time-varying delays to reach consensus. Highlights of the paper include: the protocol can be implemented in a distributed manner; the pseudo predictive approach requires less computation and communication; the verification of consensus convergence does not require the global information about the communication topology; the protocol allows delay to be time-varying, topology to dynamically and asymmetrically switch and system mode to be unstable. Numerical and practical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, we will investigate the necessary conditions, described by the Lyapunov matrix, for the robust exponential stability for a class of linear uncertain systems with a single constant delay and time-invariant parametric uncertainties, which are some generalizations of the existing results on uncertain linear time-delay systems. As a medium step, several pivotal properties of parameter-dependent Lyapunov matrix are proposed, which set up the relationships between fundamental matrix and Lyapunov matrix for the considered system. In addition, to calculate the parameter-dependent Lyapunov matrix, we introduce the differential equation method and the Lagrange interpolation method, respectively. Furthermore, it is noted that the proposed necessary conditions can be used to estimate the range of time delay, when the linear uncertain time-delay system is robust exponential stability. Finally, the validity of the obtained theoretical results is illustrated via numerical examples.  相似文献

The research of robust stability for fractional order linear time-invariant (FO-LTI) interval systems with uncertain parameters has become a hot issue. In this paper, it is the first time to consider robust stability of uncertain parameters FO-LTI interval systems, which have deterministic linear coupling relationship between fractional order and other model parameters. Linear matrix inequalities (LMI) methods are used, and a criterion for checking asymptotical stability of this class of systems is presented. One numerical illustrative example is given to verify the correctness of the conclusions.  相似文献

This paper studies the robust stabilization problem of a class of uncertain Lipschitz nonlinear systems with infinite distributed input delays. A novel robust predictor feedback controller is developed and the controller gain can be obtained via solving a linear matrix inequality. It is shown that the proposed robust predictor feedback controller can globally exponentially stabilize the concerned uncertain nonlinear system with infinite distributed input delays. The key to the proposed approach is the development of several new quadratic Lyapunov functionals. The obtained results are extended to the case of systems with both multiple constant input delays and infinite distributed input delays. It is noted that the obtained results include some existing results on systems with constant input delays or bounded distributed input delays as special cases. Finally, two examples of Chua’s circuit and spacecraft rendezvous system are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed robust controllers.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to adaptive neural network control issue for a class of nonstrict-feedback uncertain systems with input delay and asymmetric time-varying state constraints. State-related external disturbances are involved into the system, and the upper bounds of disturbances are assumed as functions of state variables instead of constants. Additionally, during the approximations of unknown functions by neural networks, the online computation burdens are declined sharply, since the norms of neural network weight vectors are only estimated. In the process of dealing with input delay, an auxiliary function is applied such that the conditions for time delay are more general than the ones in existing literature. A novel adaptive neural network controller is designed by constructing the asymmetric barrier Lyapunov function, which guarantees that the output of system has a good tracking performance and the state variables never violate the asymmetric time-varying constraints. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to verify the proposed adaptive control scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, the global robust exponential stability problem for a class of uncertain inertial-type BAM neural networks with both time-varying delays is focused through Lagrange sense. The existence of time-varying delays in discrete and distributed terms is explored with the availability of lower and upper bounds of time-varying delays. Firstly, we transform the proposed inertial BAM neural networks to usual one. Secondly, by the aid of LKF, stability theory, integral inequality, some novel sufficient conditions for the global robust exponential stability of the addressed neural networks are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which can be easily tested in practice by utilizing LMI control toolbox in MATLAB software. Furthermore, many comparisons of proposed work are listed with some existing literatures to get less conservatism. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the advantages and superiority of our theoretical outcomes.  相似文献

This paper aims to solve the problem of sliding mode control for an uncertain two-dimensional (2-D) systems with states having time-varying delays. The uncertainties in the system dynamics are constituted of mismatched uncertain parameters and the unknown nonlinear bounded function. The proposed problem utilizes the model transformation approach. By segregating the proper Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional in concert with the improved version of Wirtinger-based summation inequality, sufficient solvability conditions for the existence of linear switching surfaces have been put forward, which ensure the asymptotical stability of the reduced-order equivalent sliding mode dynamics. Then, we solve the controller synthesis problem by extending the recently proposed reaching law to 2-D systems, whose proportional part is appropriately scaled by the factor that does not depend on some constant terms but rather on current switching surface’s value, which in turn ensures the faster convergence and better robustness against uncertainties. Finally, the proposed results have been validated through an implementation to a suitable physical system.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the problem of robust H∞ filter design for uncertain systems with time-varying state and distributed delays. System uncertainties are considered as norm-bounded time-varying parametric uncertainties. The delays are assumed to be time-varying delays being differentiable uniformly bounded with delay-derivative bounded by a constant, which may be greater than one. A new delay-derivative-dependent approach of filter design for the systems is proposed. A novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) is employed, and a tighter upper bound of its derivative is obtained by employing an inequality and using free-weighting matrices technique, then the proposed result has advantages over some existing results, in that it has less conservatism and it enlarges the application scope. An improved sufficient condition for the existence of such a filter is established in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Finally, illustrative examples are given to show the effectiveness and reduced conservatism of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper studies the finite-time guaranteed cost control problem for switched nonlinear stochastic systems with parameter uncertainties and time-varying delays. By choosing a model-dependent and delay-dependent Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, applying the average dwell time approach and the Gronwall inequality, some novel sufficient conditions are derived to ensure that the switched nonlinear stochastic closed-loop system is finite-time stochastically stable and an upper bound is given on the performance index. The obtained nonlinear matrix is transformed into a linear matrix form, and then the feedback controller gains of the switched nonlinear stochastic systems with time-varying delay are obtained. Finally, two simulation examples are designed to verify the effectiveness of the suggested approach.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the problem of the simultaneous stabilization of three time-varying discrete-time linear systems within the framework of nest algebras. From the perspective of strong transitivity, we establish sufficient condition for the existence of time-varying simultaneously stabilizing controllers based on the coprime factorization. In particular, we also derive a sufficient condition for simultaneous stabilizability of three systems, where the systems are pairwise simultaneously stabilizable. Additionally, the sufficient conditions given in this paper lead to a constructive controller design to stabilize simultaneously three systems. These results hold as well in the time-invariant case. This paper addresses the problem of exponential synchronization of switched genetic oscillators with time-varying delays. Switching parameters and three types of nonidentical time-varying delays, that is, the self-delay, the intercellular coupling delay, and the regulatory delay are taken into consideration in genetic oscillators. By utilizing the Kronecker product techniques and ‘delay-partition’ approach, a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional is proposed. Then, based on the average dwell time approach, Jensen?s integral inequality, and free-weighting matrix method, delay-dependent sufficient conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). These conditions guarantee the exponential synchronization of switched genetic oscillators with time-varying delays whose upper bounds of derivatives are known and unknown, respectively. A numerical example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

A robust low-complexity design methodology is presented for global tracking of uncertain high-order nonlinear systems with unknown time-varying delays. In contrast to the existing literature, this paper assumes that nonlinear bounding functions of time-delay nonlinearities and high powers of virtual and actual control variables are unknown. Furthermore, a delay-independent tracking scheme using nonlinearly transformed error surfaces is simply designed without the knowledge of nonlinear bounding functions of model nonlinearities, the adaptive technique, and the calculation of repeated time derivatives of certain signals. Thus, the proposed tracker is implemented with low complexity. It is recursively shown that the tracking error is preserved within the predefined bounds of transient and steady-state performance in the Lyapunov sense.  相似文献

Variable fractional-order (VFO) differential equations are a beneficial tool for describing the nonlinear behavior of complex dynamical phenomena. In comparison with the constant FO derivatives, it describes the memory properties of such systems that can vary in the time domain and spatial location. This article investigates the stability and stabilization of VFO neutral systems in the presence of time-varying structured uncertainties and time-varying delay. FO Lyapunov theorem is adopted to achieve order-dependent and delay-dependent criteria for both nominal and uncertain VFO neutral delay systems. The obtained conditions are given in respect of linear matrix inequality by designing a delayed state feedback controller. Simulations verify the main results.  相似文献
