This paper studies the problem of observer based fast nonsingular terminal sliding mode control schemes for nonlinear non-affine systems with actuator faults, unknown states, and external disturbances. A hyperbolic tangent function based extended state observer is considered to estimate unknown states, which enhances robustness by estimating external disturbance. Then, Taylor series expansion is employed for the non-affine nonlinear system with actuator faults, which transforms it to an affine form system to simplify disturbance observer and controller design. A finite time disturbance observer is designed to address unknown compound disturbances, which includes external disturbances and system uncertainties. A fast nonsingular terminal sliding mode with exponential function sliding mode is proposed to address output tracking. Simulation results show the proposed scheme is effective.  相似文献

In this paper, a composite fault tolerant control (CFTC) with disturbance observer scheme is considered for a class of stochastic systems with faults and multiple disturbances. The disturbances are divided into two parts. One represents the stochastic disturbance with partial known information which is formulated by an exogenous system. The other is independent Wiener process. A stochastic disturbance observer is designed to estimate exogenous disturbance. To make the first type of disturbance can be rejected and the fault can be diagnosed, a composite fault diagnosis observer with disturbance observer is constructed. Furthermore, a composite fault-tolerant controller is proposed to compensate disturbances and faults. Finally, simulation examples are given to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

This paper studied an adaptive actuator fault-tolerant control scheme for the flexible Euler–Bernoulli beam in the three-dimensional space with output constraints and uncertain end load. The dynamic models are represented by partial differential equations (PDEs) and ordinary differential equations (ODEs). When part of the actuator fails, an adaptive control scheme is designed to regulate the vibration and stabilize the flexible three-dimensional Euler–Bernoulli beam. Barrier Lyapunov Function (BLF) is adopted to realize output constraints of the system. Adaptive control law with projection mapping operator is designed to compensate for the end load which is uncertain and bounded. The goal of this paper is to suppress the displacement of the flexible three-dimensional Euler–Bernoulli beam which can be constrained in given bounds under actuator fault and uncertain, bounded end load. It is confirmed that the proposed control scheme can deal with the vibration, adaptive actuator fault-tolerant control, uncertain and bounded end load and output constraints of the system simultaneously. Finally, numerical simulations illustrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the method.  相似文献

This study investigates the distributed fault-tolerant output regulation for heterogeneous linear multi-agent systems in the presence of actuator faults. For the systems which are not the neighbors of exosystem, the distributed fixed-time observer is put forward to observe the state of exosystem. Note that it is dependent on the global information of network topology. To address this issue, the fully distributed adaptive fixed-time observer is further proposed. It can estimate not only the state of exosystem, but also the system matrix of exosystem. Based on the proposed observer, a novel fault-tolerant controller is developed to compensate for actuator faults. Moreover, it is proven that the proposed controller is effective to address the fault-tolerant output regulation problem by the Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, two illustrative examples are given to illustrate the feasibility of the main theoretical findings.  相似文献

A novel control scheme combining disturbance observer technique and back-stepping method is proposed for a class of nonlinear system with multiple mismatched disturbances. The uncertain multiple mismatched disturbances contain not only single harmonic or constant disturbances but also another unexpected nonlinear signal presented as a nonlinear function. The composite adaptive disturbance observers are designed to estimate the disturbances with partial known information. By integrating disturbance observer based control with back-stepping method, a composite controller is designed. Here, the disturbance estimations are introduced into the design of virtual control laws in each step to compensate the mismatched disturbances. Rigorous stability analysis for the closed-loop system is established by direct Lyapunov function method. It is shown that the system output asymptotically converges to zero in spite of existing multiple mismatched disturbances. Finally, a simulation example is applied to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper investigates a novel strategy which can address the fault-tolerant control (FTC) problem for nonlinear strict-feedback systems containing actuator saturation, unknown external disturbances, and faults related to actuators and components. In such method, the unknown dynamics including faults and disturbances are approximated by resorting to Neural-Networks (NNs) technique. Meanwhile, a back-stepping technique is employed to build a fault-tolerant controller. It should be stressed that the main advantage of this strategy is that the NN weights are updated online based on gradient descent (GD) algorithm by minimizing the cost function with respect to NNs approximation error rather than regarding weights as adaptive parameters, which are designed according to Lyapunov theory. In addition, the convergence proof of NN weights and the stability proof of the proposed FTC method are given. Finally, simulation is performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy in dealing with unknown external disturbances, actuator saturation and the faults related to the components and actuators, simultaneously.  相似文献

This paper investigates the adaptive fault-tolerant control problem for a class of continuous-time Markovian jump systems with digital communication constraints, parameter uncertainty, disturbance and actuator faults. In this study, the exact information for actuator fault, disturbance and the unparametrisable time-varying stuck fault are totally unknown. The dynamical uniform quantizer is utilized to perform the design work and the mismatched initializations at the coder and decoder sides are also considered. In this paper, a novel quantized adaptive fault-tolerant control design method is proposed to eliminate the effects of actuator fault, parameter uncertainty and disturbance. Moreover, it can be proved that the solutions of the overall closed-loop system are uniformly bounded, which is asymptotically stable almost surely. Finally, numerical examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the new methodology.  相似文献

This paper studies the problem of composite control for a class of uncertain Markovian jump systems (MJSs) with partial known transition rates, multiple disturbances and actuator saturation. Compared with the existing results, a novel robust composite control scheme is put forward by virtue of adaptive neural network technique. For MJSs, the partial unknown information on transition rates and the actuator saturation influence the design of disturbance observer and the robust H controller. Firstly, without taking account of external disturbances, the network reconstruction error and saturation, a novel robust adaptive control strategy is established to ensure that all the signals of the closed-loop system are asymptotically bounded in mean square. Secondly, the solvability condition for ensuring the robust H performance is given by using a modified adaptive law, where the saturation is treated as a disturbance-like signal. Finally, the simulations for a numerical example and an application example are performed to validate the effectiveness of the proposed results.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel tracking control scheme for continuous-time nonlinear affine systems with actuator faults is proposed by using a policy iteration (PI) based adaptive control algorithm. According to the controlled system and desired reference trajectory, a novel augmented tracking system is constructed and the tracking control problem is converted to the stabilizing issue of the corresponding error dynamic system. PI algorithm, generally used in optimal control and intelligence technique fields, is an important reinforcement learning method to solve the performance function by critic neural network (NN) approximation, which satisfies the Lyapunov equation. For the augmented tracking error system with actuator faults, an online PI based fault-tolerant control law is proposed, where a new tuning law of the adaptive parameter is designed to tolerate four common kinds of actuator faults. The stability of the tracking error dynamic with actuator faults is guaranteed by using Lyapunov theory, and the tracking errors satisfy uniformly bounded as the adaptive parameters get converged. Finally, the designed fault-tolerant feedback control algorithm for nonlinear tracking system with actuator faults is applied in two cases to track the desired reference trajectory, and the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper studies the adaptive fuzzy fault-tolerant control design problem for a class of stochastic multi-input and multi-output (MIMO) nonlinear systems in pure-feedback form. The nonlinear systems under study contain unknown functions, unmeasured states and actuator faults, which are described by the loss of effectiveness and lock-in-place modes. With the help of fuzzy logic systems identifying uncertain stochastic nonlinear systems, a fuzzy state observer is established for estimating the unmeasured states. Based on the backstepping design technique with the nonlinear tolerant-fault control theory, an adaptive fuzzy output feedback faults-tolerant control approach is developed. It is proved that the proposed fault-tolerant control approach can guarantee that all the signals of the resulting closed-loop system are bounded in probability. Moreover, the observer errors and tracking errors can be regulated to a small neighborhood of the origin by choosing design parameters appropriately. A simulation example is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

The attitude control problem of a rigid satellite with actuator failure uncertainties and external disturbance is addressed using adaptive control method. A discontinuous adaptive failure compensation controller, using unit quaternion and angular velocities feedback, is designed to accommodate the external disturbance and actuator failures which are uncertain in time instants, values and patterns. A common approximate function is used to avoid system chattering caused by such discontinuous control laws. The parameters of external disturbance and failure uncertainties are estimated directly by adaptive laws, and the desired stability and output tracking properties of the adaptive control system are analyzed. Finally, simulation results of a rigid satellite with six reaction wheels are presented to illustrate the performance of the proposed adaptive actuator failure compensation scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, a constrained control scheme based on model reference adaptive control is investigated for the longitudinal motion of a commercial aircraft with actuator faults and saturation nonlinearities. Actuator faults and constraints are both important factors adversely affecting the stability and performance of flight control systems. An adaptive adjustment law based on Lyapunov function is utilized to adjust the fault-tolerant control law. Both additive and multiplicative faults are considered in the designed controller to deal with the three types of actuator faults: locked in place, loss of effectiveness, and bias. Moreover, different techniques are implemented in the basic and fault-tolerant controller to anti-windup. Proofs for the stability of the two modified controllers which improve the performance of control system operating in the presence of actuator faults and saturations are proposed. Finally, a numerical example of the anti-windup fault-tolerant controller for a commercial aircraft is demonstrated. The stability and performance improvements can be accrued with the presented fault-tolerant control scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, for multiple Euler–Lagrange systems embodying external disturbances and unknown uncertainties, the problems of collision-avoiding formation (CAF) are investigated. With regard to Euler–Lagrange systems under healthy actuator condition and under actuator failures, two distributed collision-avoiding formation (DCAF) control laws are proposed. In one case, which the systems are under healthy actuator condition, firstly, a robust continuous term with adaptive variable gain is utilized to reduce the influence of external disturbances under unknown range. In addition, in order to handle the uncertainties of dynamical systems and collision avoidance, both the estimations for uncertain terms and repulsive potential functions are established in design of algorithms. For the other case, the systems under actuator failures, by utilizing the Lyapunov function and relevant adaptive updating laws, the effects subjected to partial loss of actuator effectiveness can be eliminated. Eventually, two distributed algorithms are proposed to achieve the expected formation configuration with no collision occurred. Numerical simulations are conducted to illustrate the validities of the presented control methodologies.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problem of adaptive disturbance attenuation for a class of nonlinear systems. The traditional adaptive methods are almost impossible to compensate the time-varying unknown disturbance by designing parameter adaptive laws without a priori knowledge about the bounds of external disturbances. To solve the problem, a new strategy is proposed by constructing an augmented system where the external disturbance is considered as another component of the augmented state vector. Based on this, a double-gain nonlinear observer is employed to estimate the state of the augmented nonlinear system. Further, an output feedback control strategy is designed, and it is proved that the proposed strategy ensures that all the signals are bounded and the tracking error exponentially converges to an adjustable compact set. Finally, an example is performed to demonstrate the validity of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

In this brief, a switching fault-tolerant control (FTC) scheme is presented for a moving vehicle-mounted flexible manipulator subject to state constraints. The dynamic characteristics of the system are represented by coupled ordinary differential equations and partial differential equations (ODEs–PDEs). When actuators are healthy, vibration control and position regulations can be realized without violation of the given constraints based on a Barrier Lyapunov Function (BLF). Moreover, a switching strategy is introduced to prevent the transgression of constraints even under actuator failure by detecting actuator faults as-assisted by the proposed monitoring functions. The closed-loop states are kept within the given bounds under FTC laws. By extending LaSalle's Invariance Principle to an infinite dimension, the asymptotic stability of the fault-free closed-loop system is strictly verified. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

For a class of switched nonlinear systems with unmatched external disturbances and unknown backlash-like hysteresis, an adaptive fuzzy-based control strategy is proposed to handle the anti-disturbance issue. The unmatched external disturbances come from a switched exosystem. Our aim is to achieve the output tracking performance and the disturbance attenuation by using the adaptive fuzzy-based composite anti-disturbance control technique. First, based on the fuzzy logics, we design a switching adaptive fuzzy disturbance observer to estimate unmatched external disturbances. Second, a composite switching adaptive anti-disturbance controller is constructed. By means of the backstepping technique, disturbance estimations are added in each virtual control to offset the unmatched disturbances, which results in the different coordinate transformations. At last, the availability of the proposed approach is illustrated by a mass-spring-damper system.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of robust integrated fault estimation (FE) and fault-tolerant control (FTC) for a class of discrete-time networked Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy systems with two-channel event-triggered schemes, input quantization and incomplete measurements. The incomplete information under consideration includes randomly occurring sensor saturation and randomly occurring quantization. In order to save the limited networked resources, this paper firstly proposed a novel dynamic event-triggered scheme on the sensor side and a static one on the controller side. Secondly, an event-triggered FE observer for the T–S fuzzy model is designed to estimate actuator faults and system states, simultaneously. Then, a specified discrete sliding surface in the state-estimation space is constructed. By using time-delay analysis technique and considering the effects of event-triggered scheme, quantization, networked conditions, actuator fault and external disturbance, the sliding mode dynamics and error dynamics are unified into a new networked time-delay model. Based on this model, sufficient conditions are established such that the resulting augmented fuzzy system is stochastically stable with a prescribed H performance level with a single-step linear matrix inequality (LMI) formulation. Furthermore, an observer-based sliding mode controller for reaching motion is synthesized to guarantee the reachability of the sliding surface. Finally, a single-link flexible manipulator example is present to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel event-triggered adaptive fault-tolerant control scheme is proposed for a class of nonlinear systems with unknown actuator faults. Multiplicative faults and additive faults are taken into account simultaneously, both of which may vary with time. Different from existing results, our controller fuses static reliability information and dynamic online information, which is helpful to enhance the fault-tolerant capability. With the aid of an event-triggering mechanism, an actuator switching strategy and a bound estimation approach, the communication burden is significantly reduced and the impacts of the actuator faults as well as the network-induced error are effectively compensated for. Moreover, by employing the prescribed performance control technique, the system tracking error can converge to a predefined arbitrarily small residual set with prescribed convergence rate and maximum overshoot, which implies that the proposed scheme is able to ensure rapid and accurate tracking. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with an event-triggered adaptive fault-tolerant problem for an uncertain non-affine system. The implicit function theorem and mean value theorem are utilized to transform a non-affine system into an affine one, and an extended state observer and a tracking differentiator are used to estimate unknown dynamics and the derivative of virtual control laws, respectively. Adaptive laws are designed for unknown faults, and an event-triggered control scheme with a time-varying threshold, based on a tracking error and adaptive parameters, is developed. The tracking error is steered to converge to a bounded set with the help of a predefined performance function, and its transient performance is improved despite of faults. The stability of the closed-loop system is analyzed by the theorem of the input-to-state practically stability, and the Zeno behavior is excluded. Finally, two examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献
