This paper studies collective formations of multi-agent systems, modeled with unicycle dynamics, while admitting heterogeneity in both controller gains and speeds of the agents along with saturation on the controller outputs. This addresses a practical scenario where the speeds are usually nonidentical and the controller gains may vary due to imperfect implementation. The paper analyzes the effect of both heterogeneous controller gains and speeds simultaneously on the collective formations obtained by optimizing the average linear momentum of the group of agents. A detailed analysis of the two-agent system is given in the paper and some results on the locus of the collective centroid with varying controller gains are obtained. Effect of saturation is also studied for two cases when the controller gains are bounded and when the control efforts are bounded. Simulation examples are given to illustrate the theoretical findings.  相似文献

This paper studies the consensus problem of multiple agents with discrete-time second-order dynamics. It is assumed that the information obtained by each agent is with time-varying delays and the interaction topology is time-varying, where the associated direct graphs may not have spanning trees. Under the condition that the union graph is strongly connected and balanced, it is shown that there exist controller gains such that consensus can be reached for any bounded time-delays. Moreover, a method is provided to design controller gains. Simulations are performed to validate the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper investigates an observer-based sliding mode control (SMC)) for connected vehicles under denial-of-service attacks. The attacks refer to interrupting communication channels between vehicles. Firstly, a reduced order observer is used to estimate the relative acceleration between neighbor vehicles, and a switching communication topology is introduced to model the attack. Then, an observer based sliding mode controller is proposed to achieve desired stability performance. Moreover, a quadratic cost performance is also defined and the cost upper bound is proved. Some sufficient conditions are provided such that the connected vehicles can achieve robust tracking performance, and input-to-state string stability is guaranteed under zero initial errors. Finally, numerical simulations are given to illustrate the validity of the designed controller.  相似文献

This paper studies the formation control for a time-delayed discrete-time multi-agent system (MAS). An event-triggered controller is proposed to reduce the communication load of the system. Based on the designed event-triggered condition and properties of Schur stable matrix, the stability of formation for discrete-time MAS is proved. Utilizing the virtual simulation platform integrated Robot Operating System (ROS) and Gazebo, a virtual scene with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) models is built and the verification for the theoretical algorithm is completed. Finally, an experimental platform with four practical UAVs is constructed and the result shows that the expected formation is achieved and controller proposed can solve the formation control problem for time-delayed discrete-time MASs. Besides, the effectiveness of the event-triggered mechanism on reducing communication frequency is comfirmed in practical scenarios.  相似文献

This paper investigates the issue of finite/fixed-time bipartite consensus (FFTBC) of multi-agent systems with signed graphs. A new unified framework of finite-time and fixed-time bipartite consensus is built via some discontinuous control protocols based on the theory of differential inclusion and set-valued Lie derivative. Under the structurally balanced or unbalanced signed graphs, the goal of FFTBC is reached by a common discontinuous controller with different control gains, which fills the gap in studying FFTBC issues with discontinuous protocols. Some numerical examples with comparisons are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of our designs.  相似文献

This paper studies the problem of finite-time formation tracking control for networked nonaffine nonlinear systems with unmeasured dynamics and unknown uncertainties/disturbances under directed topology. A unified distributed control framework is proposed by integrating adaptive backstepping control, dynamic gain control and dynamic surface control based on finite-time theory and consensus theory. Auxiliary dynamics are designed to construct control gains with non-Lipschitz dynamics so as to guarantee finite-time convergence of formation errors. Adaptive control is used to compensate for uncertain control efforts of the transformed systems derived from original nonaffine systems. It is shown that formation tracking is achieved during a finite-time period via the proposed controller, where fractional power terms are only associated with auxiliary dynamics instead of interacted information among the networked nonlinear systems in comparison with most existing finite-time cooperative controllers. Moreover, the continuity of the proposed controller is guaranteed by setting the exponents of fractional powers to an appropriate interval. It is also shown that the improved dynamic surface control method could guarantee finite-time convergence of formation errors, which could not be accomplished by conventional dynamic surface control. Finally, simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel integrated guidance and control strategy for homing of unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) in 5-degree-of-freedom (DOF), where the vehicles are assumed to be underactuated at high speed and required to move towards the final docking path. During the initial homing stage, the guidance system is first designed by geometrical analysis method to generate a feasible reference trajectory. Then, in the backstepping framework, the proposed trajectory tracking controller can achieve all the tracking errors in the closed-loop system convergence to a small neighbourhood of zero. It means that the vehicle's dynamics are consistent with the reference trajectory derived in the previous step. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed guidance and control strategy, the complete stability analysis used Lyapunov's method is given in the paper, and simulation results of all initial conditions are presented and discussed.  相似文献

This paper shows that minimizing a quadratic cost function is not particularly useful for selecting a small number of controller gains in vehicle headway control. For cases in which a large number of controller gains are to be selected, the quadratic cost function may be useful, but the weighting parameter values cannot usually be chosen a priori if transient performance measures are of a particular interest. Examples illustrate how values of weights in a simplified cost function can be selected to yield acceptable transient performance. This performance is compared with that for a system containing only a few gains and optimized without recourse to a cost function.  相似文献

This paper investigates the finite-time cooperative formation control problem for a heterogeneous system consisting of an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) - the leader and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) - the follower. The UAV system under consideration is subject to modeling uncertainties, external disturbance as well as actuator faults simultaneously, which is associated with aerodynamic and gyroscopic effects, payload mass, and other external forces. First, a backstepping controller is developed to stabilize the leader system to track the desired trajectory. Second, a robust nonsingular fast terminal sliding mode surface is designed for UAV and finite-time position control is achieved using terminal sliding mode technique, which ensures the formation error converges to zero in finite time in the presence of actuator faults and other uncertainties. Furthermore, by combining the radial basis function neural networks (NNs) with adaptive virtual parameter technology, a novel NN-based adaptive nonsingular fast terminal sliding formation controller (NN-ANFTSMFC) is developed. By means of the proposed adaptive control strategy, both uncertainties and actuator faults can be compensated without the prior knowledges of the uncertainty bounds and fault information. By using the proposed control schemes, larger actuator faults can be tolerated while eliminating control chattering. In order to realize fast coordinated formation, the expected position trajectory of UAV is composed of the leader position information and the desired relative distance with UGV, based on local distributed theory, in the three-dimensional space. The tracking and formation controllers are proved to be stable by the Lyapunov theory and the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed algorithms.  相似文献

The robust control problem of a class of uncertain systems subject to intermittent measurement as well as external disturbances is considered. The disturbances are supposed to be generated by an exogenous system, while the state information is assumed to be available only on some nonoverlapping time intervals. A composite design consisting of an intermittent state feedback controller augmented by a disturbance compensation term derived from a disturbance observer is formulated. Unlike the conventional disturbance observers, the proposed disturbance observer is modelled by a switched impulsive system, which makes use of the intermittent state data to estimate the disturbances. Stability analysis of the resulting closed-loop system is performed by applying a piecewise time-dependent Lyapunov function. Then a sufficient condition for the existence of the proposed composite controllers is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The controller and observer gains can be achieved by solving a set of LMIs. Further, a procedure to limit the norms of the controller and observer gains is given. Finally, an illustrative example is presented to demonstrate the validity of the results.  相似文献

In the presence of system uncertainties, external disturbances and input nonlinearity, this paper is concerned with the adaptive terminal sliding mode controller to achieve synchronization between two identical attractors which belong to a class of second-order chaotic system. The proposed controller with adaptive feedback gains can compensate nonlinear dynamics of the synchronous error system without calculating the magnitudes of them. Meanwhile, these feedback gains are updated by the novel adaptive rules without required that the bounds of system uncertainties and external disturbances have to be known in advance. Some sufficient conditions for stability are provided based on the Lyapunov theorem and numerical studies are performed to verify the effectiveness of presented scheme.  相似文献

This paper proposes a pursuit formation control scheme for a network of double-integrator mobile agents based on a vector field approach. In a leaderless architecture, each agent pursues another one via a cyclic topology to achieve a regular polygon formation. On the other hand, the agents are exposed to a rotational vector field such that they rotate around the vector field centroid, while they keep the regular polygon formation. The main problem of existing approaches in the literature for cyclic pursuit of double-integrator multiagent systems is that under those approaches, the swarm angular velocity and centroid are not controllable based on missions and agents capabilities. However, by employing the proposed vector field approach in this paper, while keeping a regular polygon formation, the swarm angular velocity and centroid can be determined arbitrary. The obtained results can be extended to achieve elliptical formations with cyclic pursuit as well. Simulation results for a team of eight mobile agents verify the accuracy of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, the distributed bearing-based formation control problem of networked thrust-propelled vehicles (TPVs) is addressed, in which both the constant and time-varying velocity leaders are considered, respectively. By introducing a reference acceleration and adaptive control scheme for the followers, the mass knowledge is not necessary in contrast to the existing works. Based on the designed reference accelerations, distributed adaptive control laws are proposed for the networked TPVs. Then the stabilization conditions are presented and an inner-bearing prescribed formation can be achieved. Under the proposed control laws, the leader-follower formation maneuver problem for networked TPVs with system uncertainties can be solved. Finally, simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control laws.  相似文献

Since Proportional?+?Integral?+?Derivative (PID) controller is still the workhorse in taking over the workload of process control systems, this article introduces a new design methodology toward improving the performance of such controller. After a PI control law with windup protection is given, it is combined with a derivative path employing a first-order low pass filter in an innovative way to develop a performant controller called PI?+?DF controller. In attempting to attain a high level of control performance, gains of this controller including proportional, integral, derivative and filter gains are tuned choosing the recently introduced Stochastic Fractal Search (SFS) algorithm owing to its superiority to many state-of-the-art algorithms considering convergence, accuracy and robustness. To evaluate the efficacy of SFS, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is also applied to the case study. Furthermore, the presented SFS optimized PI?+?DF controller is compared to a recently reported control scheme through simulation and experimental tests on an identical DC servo system. After providing the stability proof, SFS tuned PI?+?DF controller is found to be the pioneer in exhibiting the most accurate speed response profile under complicated scenarios, which is followed by PSO tuned PI?+?DF controller and the existing control approach, respectively.  相似文献

This paper deals with closed-loop pole-placement in discrete, linear systems under single and multirate sampling. The technique is extendable to hybrid systems, i.e. those involving both continuous and discrete substates. The sampling rates for the state, input and output components are used as a controller design technique to achieve closed-loop pole-placement since the controller, which is also discrete or hybrid in the general case, can be periodically reparametrized, the main useful effect of which being the availability of multiple design gains whose number and value are under the designer's choice. The key design factor in the multirate sampling design is that once the closed-loop running sampling period (i.e. that defining the closed-loop dynamics and thus the controller reparametrization periodicity) has been chosen, one can use freedom in the choice of smaller sampling periods for the various plant input and output components as well as for those of the controller state. All these sampling periods are chosen as submultiples of the closed-loop running sampling period.  相似文献

In this paper, the H control problem is investigated for a class of networked control systems with network-induced delay. A memory event-triggered scheme (METS) is proposed to reduce the redundant packet transmission in the network channel. Different from the normal event-triggered scheme (ETS), some recent released packets are stored at the event generator and controller sides, which are utilized for the first time to generate the triggered events and design the memory-based controller. The proposed METS has the following two merits. (1) The information of certain recent released signals are first utilized, which helps to improve the triggering instants at the crest or trough of the responses. (2) A state-dependent time-varying threshold parameter is designed, which can adjust the packet transmission rate according to the information of the state. Based on the proposed METS, a memory event-triggered controller is designed, the controller feedback gains and triggering parameters can be co-designed by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, the adaptive event-triggered formation-containment control for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is investigated in the presence of multiple leaders and external disturbances. By utilizing the leader-following model, the reference leader provides the desired flight trajectory for multiple formation leaders while the followers are driven into the convex hull spanned by the formation leaders. Initially, some effective disturbance observers are designed to obtain the estimations for eliminating the negative effects of external disturbances. Secondly, in order to alleviate the network burden, a dynamic triggering law is designed for the adaptive event-triggered mechanism (AETM) and the triggering frequency is heavily related to the triggering errors. Then, by exploiting Kronecker product technique and Lyapunov stability theory, two sufficient conditions on the stability of closed-loop system are established, which can help achieve the desired formation control target. Furthermore, the controller gains and observer ones can be determined by calculating the derived linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, a simulation example is given to illustrate the feasibility of the designed control protocol.  相似文献

This paper investigates the formation control of interconnected second-order systems. Each agent is assumed to be capable of measuring its own absolute velocity and the relative positions with respect to its neighboring agents, whereas the target formation is described by absolute positions of all agents in a global coordinate. For such formation control problems, no distributed control policy was reported in existing literature. This paper focuses on the string connection structure of the agents and proposes a distributed control policy that takes the form of purely state feedback without incorporating any feed-forward component. The closed-loop system equation is characterized by an oscillation matrix whose entries are the feedback controller gains. Formation control is accomplished by formulating the agents’ target positions as feedback controller gains. Moreover, it is shown that for agent models described by double integrators, each of the agents located at the two endpoints of the string structure should know its own absolute position. For a class of agent models where each agent’s acceleration depends on its own position, the control laws do not need to use the absolute position. For both system models, the target formations that are asymptotically reachable by the proposed control laws are specified explicitly. Numerical simulations have been conducted to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In the presence of uncertain time-varying control coefficients, structuring parameter uncertainty and unknown state time delay, this paper proposes a continuous feedback control scheme for highly nonlinear systems without extra nonlinear growth restriction. An expansion of the backstepping method is presented based on dynamic gains and tuning functions. By Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals, a delay-free controller is designed to regulate the original system states to zero with the other states being globally bounded.  相似文献
