德国化学奥林匹克活动提供了一种可借鉴、可参考的选拔过程,通过对2019年德国化学奥林匹克活动试题的翻译和分析,发现其具有试题难度设置有梯度、注重情境的多样性、注重选拔的层次性、实验有明确的问题指向性等特点。对此提出三点研究建议:调整参赛价值取向、注重兴趣培养;兼顾化学常规教学、提升教学质量;加强教学情境创设、培育学科素养,以期对我国高中化学奥林匹克竞赛活动的开展提供参考。  相似文献

教师专业发展的核心问题就是发展他们的PCK。化学教师的PCK主要包括基于化学科学理解的化学学科知识、关于学生理解化学的知识、关于化学课程的知识和化学特定课题的教学策略及表征的知识。教师的PCK是在实践中建构和发展的。PCK的发展是一个非线性的、螺旋发展的动态的过程。化学教师PCK建构的基本策略是:形成促进PCK发展的教学思维方式,提升对化学科学的理解水平,关注学生对于化学的理解,发展化学课程知识,提高整合转化能力,多渠道丰富PCK资源库。  相似文献

基于实验教学实践及科研课题,对化学综合实验进行了教学改革与实验教学项目的创新设计。该实验结合新型样品前处理技术——分散液液微萃取技术,用分光光度法测定了枸杞中β-胡萝卜素含量,优化了样品前处理的条件,包括操作模式、萃取剂与分散剂、样品的化学环境等。该实验项目手动操作步骤多、现象稳定、重现性好,达到化学综合实验教学的要求,将教师启发式教学和学生自主设计实验相结合,强化了学生基础化学实验操作和综合运用理论知识并提高综合实验技能的作用,该实验能激发学生参与实验教学的主动性和积极性,有助于学生创新能力的培养。  相似文献

新中国成立以来,我国中学化学课堂教学经历了以"双基"为导向、以"能力"为导向、以"科学素养"为导向以及以"化学核心素养"为导向的发展阶段,体现了素质教育在化学课堂教学逐步落实的演进轨迹。化学课堂教学变革呈现出价值取向从崇尚知识逐渐转变为关怀生命,教师角色从"为教而教"走向"为学而教";学生主体性从被动接受学习到主动建构学习以及教学内容从注重化学学科知识走向渗透STSE等特征。对科学本质的认识变化是化学课堂教学变革的内在动因,课堂范式的转型是化学课堂教学变革的外部条件,着力培育化学学科核心素养,开展"素养为本"的教学,是新时代化学课堂教学变革的主题。  相似文献

Technology was integrated into service-learning activities to create an interactive teaching method for undergraduate students at a large research institution. Chemistry students at the University of Central Florida partnered with high school students at Crooms Academy of Information Technology in interactive service learning projects. The projects allowed UCF students to teach newly acquired content knowledge and build upon course lecture and lab exercises. Activities utilized the web-conferencing tool Adobe Connect Pro to enable interaction with high school students, many of whom have limited access to supplemental educational opportunities due to low socioeconomic status. Seventy chemistry I students created lessons to clarify high school students’ misconceptions through the use of refutational texts. In addition, 21 UCF students enrolled in the chemistry II laboratory course acted as virtual lab partners with Crooms students in an interactive guided inquiry experiment focused on chemical kinetics. An overview of project’s design, implementation, and assessments are detailed in the case study and serve as a model for future community partnerships. Emerging technologies are emphasized as well as a suggested set of best practices for future projects.  相似文献

The Chemistry Curriculum Committee of the Philadelphia school district developed a chemistry course guide for use in the city's comprehensive high schools. Instruction based on this guide was intended, in part, to develop critical thinking ability, open-mindedness, and knowledge of the processes of science. Critical thinking ability and open-mindedness appears to have been developed; but only when pretesting was part of the teaching process. Knowledge of the processes of science has not been developed by students in chemistry classes following the Guide, perhaps because of a lack of strict adherence to the intent and content of the chemistry guide.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Sexually active college students in the United States have alarming rates of unplanned pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. Varying degrees of sexual health knowledge and attitudes among college students are an outcome of sexuality education in the K-12 school systems with abstinence-only or comprehensive focus. Community college students (n = 737) aged 18–24 years, 57% from a college in an abstinence-only sex education state and 43% from a college in a comprehensive sex education state, both in the Mid-Atlantic region, took the Sexual Health Survey in October 2016, which measures sexual health knowledge and attitudes. Gender and ethnicity differences, as well as other sources of sexuality information were evaluated. Students from the comprehensive sex education state, New Jersey had higher sexual health knowledge and attitude scores than the students from the abstinence-only sex education state, Pennsylvania. Male students in New Jersey scored significantly higher in sexual health knowledge compared to male students in Pennsylvania, while female students in New Jersey had higher sexual health knowledge scores compared to the male students. Analysis of ethnicity revealed the New Jersey college sample had healthier sexual attitudes as compared to the Pennsylvania college sample, with notable distinction among Black students. The Internet, friends, and personal experiences were chosen by 75% of all students across both colleges as the top reported sources of sexuality information. In addition to advocating for comprehensive sex education, recommendations are made for sexual health initiatives in community colleges to provide sexual health instruction and support.  相似文献

Mainland China has a highly centralised curriculum development system. A study of two schools in northeast China, one in a rural area and the other in an urban area, indicates that the primary mathematics curriculum has been widely adopted by teachers at the classroom level. Feeling the intense pressure generated by the national mathematics Olympiad,1 1. The mathematics Olympiad is a type of ‘extracurricular’ activity that aims to promote students' interest and improve their ability in mathematics. Students participating in the competition are required to complete some challenging and non‐routine mathematical operations. The international mathematics Olympiad is held every year. In Mainland China, this competition is commonly organised at city, provincial and national level. Students who perform exceptionally well are exempted from the highly competitive national university entrance examinations for entry to universities View all notes teachers in the urban school tended to give more difficult mathematics problems to their students in the hope that above‐average students would perform well in the competition. In the rural school, the ability of students was more varied and generally lower. Teachers there worked very hard to push their students to meet the national requirements. The driving force behind this was the county‐wide public examination in which students' performance was taken as an indicator of teachers' competence. Teachers in both schools also have not taken effective steps to adapt the curriculum for students' individual differences. A comparison of the practices between the teachers in the two schools suggests that teachers' beliefs, their professional knowledge and skills shape their inclination and ability in curriculum adaptation and differentiation.  相似文献
