Proteins induced by telomere dysfunction are associated with human IgA nephropathy

Aging is one of the contributing risk factors for kidney diseases. Accumulating evidence prompts the view that telomere length in kidney tissue cells is an indicator for organismal aging. Previously identified aging markers (cathelin-related antimicrobial peptide (CRAMP), stathmin, elongation factor-1α (EF-1α), and chitinase) were associated not only with telomere driven aging in mice but also with human aging and chronic diseases. This study focuses on the relationship between these biomarkers and IgA nephropathy (IgAN) progression in the Chinese population. For 260 individuals, the four markers are determined in blind datasets using direct enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and immunofluorescence staining. The expression levels of CRAMP and chitinase increased in blood plasma, urine, and kidney tissues during human IgAN progression. And for the other nephropathy, such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), diabetic nephropathy (DN), and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), there is no protein upregulation with telomere shortening. Moreover, a combination of CRAMP and chitinase can distinguish patients with IgAN from healthy individuals with 88.2%/92.5% (plasma) and 74.3%/84.2% (urine) sensitivity/specificity. These data provide the experimental evidence that telomere shortening and related inflammatory proteins are associated with human IgAN, and it could be a new direction for the disease progression study.  相似文献

针时“编译原理”课程教学中缺乏实践的问题,设计了一个实践强化的综合应用型教学案例。该案例以编译原理课程为中心,综合运用了多门计算机专业课程的相关知识,并具有相似性检测的功能,能对学生提交的程序设计类作业进行相似性检洲,以发现学生作业的原创性。学生通过对给出知识点的粗合和扩展,完成案例的设计和程序实现。弥补了课程教学中存在的不足,并具有一定的实用性。  相似文献

Videos can be used as didactic tools for self‐learning under several circumstances, including those cases in which students are responsible for the development of this resource as an audiovisual notebook. We compared students' and teachers' perceptions regarding the main features that an audiovisual notebook should include. Four questionnaires with items about information, images, text and music, and filmmaking were used to investigate students' (n = 115) and teachers' perceptions (n = 28) regarding the development of a video focused on a histological technique. The results show that both students and teachers significantly prioritize informative components, images and filmmaking more than text and music. The scores were significantly higher for teachers than for students for all four components analyzed. The highest scores were given to items related to practical and medically oriented elements, and the lowest values were given to theoretical and complementary elements. For most items, there were no differences between genders. A strong positive correlation was found between the scores given to each item by teachers and students. These results show that both students' and teachers' perceptions tend to coincide for most items, and suggest that audiovisual notebooks developed by students would emphasize the same items as those perceived by teachers to be the most relevant. Further, these findings suggest that the use of video as an audiovisual learning notebook would not only preserve the curricular objectives but would also offer the advantages of self‐learning processes. 中美股市与债市联通程度对比

选取2010-2012年间我国具有代表性的上证综指和上证国债指数,将其与美国S&P500指和十年期国债进行对比研究,分别对中美两国股市收益率和债市收益率序列进行描述性分析、ADF检验、VAR建模、脉冲响应分析和Granger因果检验,多角度分析了两者收益率波动的联动性.实证分析表明:我国股市平均收益率低于债市,波动率高于债市;美国股市平均收益率高于债市,波动率低于债市.我国债市对股市的影响更大,美国股市对债市的影响更大.  相似文献
