The Design of 3D Cooperative Learning System With Embedded Broker

Recently, the academic community has been giving much attention to cooperative learning system, a group learning method combined with pedagogy and social psychology. It allows group members to gain knowledge through collaborations and interactions. Nowadays, most Intemet cooperative learning systems are designed to provide students mainly with a convenient online environment to study theoretical courses but rarely with a 3D （three-dimensional） virtual reality to operate practical instruments. Hence, this paper designed a 3D online cooperative learning system for operating virtual instruments. By integrating with virtual reality, remote control parameter transmission and embedded broker techniques, this system gives learners not only a cooperative learning environment via networking to jointly operate the 3D virtual instruments （for example, multi-meters, power supplies and oscilloscopes）, but also the functions of instant messages and 3D puzzles to interact with one another. Therefore, learners can effectively improve learning interests and results. Besides, the proposed embedded broker also provides service capabilities similar to that of a high-end server system, and significantly reduces the system costs.  相似文献

Video retargeting using optimized crop-and-scale

Mobile devices are increasingly powerful in multimedia transmitting and browsing. However, the small screen and different aspect ratios of mobile devices lower visual quality while watching images or videos. Video retargeting is aim at fitting an existing video into arbitrary size and aspect ratio. Previous content-aware retargeting methods are mostly high computational cost, which limits their applications on the portable devices with low computation ability. In this paper, a new crop-and-scale approach is presented to adapt video to better suit the target display. We automatically find the optimal parameters of cropping window using the dynamic programming method, and then scale it to fit the target display. The cropping window can smoothly shift during a shot to follow the movement of important objects. The retargeting results using our approach introduce no deformation and jitter effects over the whole video. Experimental results show the success of our approach on adapting a variety of source videos to small display sizes.  相似文献

中美两国数学教育界对学生数学思维的发展都非常重视。我国学者从形象思维、抽象思维、直觉思维等角度对之进行研究和探索;美国学者从儿童生活实际出发,认为学生数学思维包括：匹配与区分、分类、排序、顺序、建模。在论述思维发展时,都结合学生的实际,以案例的方式进行描述。两国在研究的逻辑方法上存在显著差异。我国研究体现出从一般到特殊的特点,而美国的研究则体现出从特殊到一般的特点。比较两国的研究,吸取各自所长,有利于促进我国基础教育数学课程改革的健康发展。  相似文献

脆性X染色体综合征的临床检测方法研究

目的是建立一种简便、快捷的脆性X染色体综合征的临床检测方法.在常规PCR的基础上,采用热启动法,同时加入PCR增强剂Btaine、DMSO,对20例表型正常人群外周血样本进行FMR1基因（CGG）n重复序列检测.结果表明,改良后的FMR1基因PCR扩增技术能够高效扩增CG富集区,采用该方法我们检测了20例外周血样本均获得目标片段,PCR扩增产物片段长度400～500bp（相当于n=20～53）.因此,该方法简便、快速、经济而且重复性好,可用于群体普查和门诊快速筛查脆性X染色体综合征.  相似文献
