Estimating network effects in China＇s mobile telecommunications

A model is proposed along with empirical investigation to prove the existence of network effects in China＇s mobile telecommunications market. Futhernore, network effects on China＇s mobile telecommunications are estimated with a dynamic model. The structural parameters are identified from regression coefficients and the results are analyzed and compared with another literature. Data and estimation issues are also discussed. Conclusions are drawn that network effects are significant in China＇s mobile telecommunications market, and that ignoring network effects leads to bad policy making.  相似文献

自20世纪50年代末开始,英、法、德、美等发达国家陆续出现了老工业基地衰退的表征。为了调整与改造老工业基地,各国都制定和采取了相应的政策和措施,并取得了许多成功的经验:成立专司部门、机构,制定和实施老工业基地调整与改造的战略规划;政府从产业政策、资金、技术等方面予以支持与援助;进行产业部门结构、产业组织结构的调整;注重环境的治理和保护等。借鉴这些成功经验,并结合我国东北老工业基地的区情、省情,采取有效的对策和具体措施,借以加快我国东北老工业基地的全面振兴。  相似文献

This paper presents an effective and efficient combination of feature extraction and multi-class classifier for motion classification by analyzing the surface electromyografic(sEMG) signals. In contrast to the existing methods,considering the non-stationary and nonlinear characteristics of EMG signals,to get the more separable feature set,we introduce the empirical mode decomposition(EMD) to decompose the original EMG signals into several intrinsic mode functions(IMFs) and then compute the coefficients of autoregressive models of each IMF to form the feature set. Based on the least squares support vector machines(LS-SVMs) ,the multi-class classifier is designed and constructed to classify various motions. The results of contrastive experiments showed that the accuracy of motion recognition is improved with the described classification scheme. Furthermore,compared with other classifiers using different features,the excellent performance indicated the potential of the SVM techniques embedding the EMD-AR kernel in motion classification.  相似文献

A neural-statistical approach to the reconstruction of novel viewpoint image general regression neural networks(GRNN) is presented.Different color value will be obtained by watching the same surface point of an abject from different viewpoints due to specular reflection,and the difference is related to the position of viewpoint.The relationship between the position of vewpoint and the color of image is non-linear,neural network is introduced to make curve fitting,where the inputs of neural network are only a few calibrated images with obvious specular reflection.By training the neural network,network model is obtained.By inputing an arbitrary virtual viewpoint to the model,the image of the virtual viewpoint can be computed.By using the method presented here,novel viewpoint image with photo-realistic property can be obtained,especially images with obvious specular reflection can accurately be generated.The method is an image-based rendering method,geometric model of the scene and position of lighting are not needed.  相似文献
