The rapid development of information communication technology has led towards the emergence of the “connected world” characterised by the pervasive embeddedness of smart technologies. Smart technologies have a transformative impact on different domains of life. The application of smart technologies redefines the way people live, interact and conduct business. To date, the attention of the scholarly community has been paid primarily to smart cities, smart manufacturing and smart homes. However, despite numerous studies discussing the benefits of advanced technologies in the workplace, there is a lack of research on smart offices and how they affect productivity and employee well-being. This opinion paper argues that office spaces constitute a distinctive type of space, and research on smart homes or manufacturing does not suffice to capture its essence. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to propose a research agenda that can advance the current literature on smart and information communication technologies in relation to workplace spaces and the potential implications these could have on productivity. 相似文献

Informed by a perspective centred on psychological health and well-being, the present research investigated whether teachers’ overall well-being was influenced by their affect balance, as well as the extent to which both affect and well-being are influenced by social capital, in conflict-ridden areas such as the occupied Palestinian Territories (Gaza Strip and West Bank). The study involved three cohorts of Palestinian teachers working in Israel, Gaza and the West Bank, respectively (N = 153). Dynamics of social exclusion, religious difference, educational disparity, poor educational standards and a lack of opportunity are factors affecting Palestinian teachers in both Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories. The results supported the hypothesis that emotional balance directly influences teachers’ well-being. Teachers with higher levels of positive affect reported greater personal well-being than those with higher levels of negative affect. Social capital also positively influenced teachers’ personal well-being, both directly, and indirectly by fostering positive emotions. These results suggest that availability of community resources plays a key role in promoting teachers’ well-being. 相似文献

积极心理学兴起仅十余年,已经形成一股世界性的研究热潮。整体来看,积极心理学研究主要集中在三个领域:积极情绪体验、积极人格特质和积极的社会组织系统。三个领域研究的发展并不均衡。国内的研究相对比较薄弱,还缺少有国际影响力的成果,本土化的研究有待加强。目前,积极心理学在研究的科学性和研究领域方面都存在不足。尽管如此,积极心理学未来的发展前景还很广阔。 相似文献

Cognitive self-regulation is assumed to foster teachers' occupational well-being (their level of emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction), which directly impacts the quality of their work. We investigated (1) the factor structure of teachers' cognitive self-regulation, (2) whether self-regulation fosters teachers' job satisfaction by reducing emotional exhaustion, and (3) whether this relationship is moderated by gender and school track. Structural equation modeling (N = 664 German secondary mathematics teachers) confirmed the hypothesized second-order factor structure of teacher self-regulation. The positive effect of cognitive self-regulation on job satisfaction is mediated by emotional exhaustion and can be generalized across gender and school track. 相似文献

目的:考察大学生社团参与状况对其主观幸福感的影响效应。方法:对332名高校学生社团成员进行问卷调查并主要采用层级回归分析法进行数据分析。结果:大学生投入社团的时间、参与社团的质量均是其主观幸福感认知评价成分——生活满意感的显著正向预测源;大学生在社团中的身份以及参与社团的质量均是主观幸福感情绪体验成分中的积极情感的显著正向预测源。结论:高质量的社团参与活动是大学生主观幸福感提升的重要来源。 相似文献

现代幸福感主要有主观幸福感、心理幸福感和社会幸福感三种视角。本研究引进与修订Keyes(社会幸福感量表》,考察其在中国人群的适应性,提供新型的幸福感测评工具并测查江西省647名大学生。统计资料显示,大学生社会实现得分最高(5.74);社会扣谐得分最低(3.95)。男生、独生子女、经济条件好者在社会和谐维度上高于女生、非独生子女和经济状况差者。学生干部的社会实现、社会和谐和社会贡献得分高于非学生干部学生,学业好者社会贡献得分高于学业一般与较差的学生。我国大学生群体的社会幸福感结构与Keyes构想一致,但量表仍需进一步完善与本土化。 相似文献

In this paper, the authors evaluate a global strategy to safeguard children against abuse in sport. The experiences of people within 32 of the organisations who were working towards the International Safeguards for Children in Sport were captured over a two-year study. At the organisational level, self-audits demonstrated that progress was made during the project by deliverers (who worked directly with children) from having 45% to 64% of the Safeguards fully in place. Governors (who governed other organisations which worked directly with children) improved on the same figure from 25% to 53%. Progress was also identified using the concept of Activation States through in-depth interviews at the start and end of the project. Positive changes were found at the personal level with respect to people’s feelings, knowledge and behaviours related to safeguarding as well as how safeguarding is discussed in the organisation. Group discussions also revealed changes with respect to how children, coaches, parents and the broader community were behaving with respect to safeguarding. An increase in the number of disclosures was also identified as an important impact of the project. The International Safeguards for Children in Sport are now endorsed by 125 organisations who work with a total of over 35 million children. The implications of these findings are discussed along with the future directions of work in this area. 相似文献

This article has two primary aims. Firstly, it provides a critical review of previous studies into student stress and identifies
several important issues that, as yet, have not been explored. There has been no consideration of the effect of students maturing
during their studies on the stress that they experience and how they cope with that stress. Secondly, the article highlights
limitations in the past and present literature base, where there has been a concentration on a quantitative approach, and
focus on a narrow range of subject groups. There is also a need to undertake longitudinal research to investigate individuals’
stress experiences during the period they study at university. Overall the key assertion here is that thus far research into
student stress has not offered a complete account and explanation of students’ stress experiences. 相似文献
