旅游地居民对旅游影响的感知与态度一直是学术界研究的热点问题,本文利用问卷调查了重庆南川市居民对金佛山旅游影响的感知与态度后发现:多数居民对金佛山旅游的积极影响感知强烈,赞同度高,而对其消极影响的感知较弱,多持反对态度,但同时也关注金佛山的生态环境安全和环境保护;女性、中等收入、文化程度高的中青年居民以及与旅游业有直接关系的人员更加支持发展旅游业,农民、离退休人员、新闻工作者和研究人员对发展旅游业的态度比从事其他职业居民消极。  相似文献

多元文化主义是20世纪60年代美国“民权运动”的产物,多元文化教育是多元文化主义在教育领域的体现。多元文化主义使美国社会各方面开始反思主流盎格鲁一撒克逊新教文化客观上对少数族群造成的歧视与伤害,在教育政策与实践中进行了一系列调整,这促进了社会的进步、平等与宽容,但也深刻地冲击了美国社会,形成了对美国国民性的重大挑战,从而引起了一些美国公众对多元文化教育的责难与批评,并在政治上也出现了相应的连锁反应,多元文化教育处于发展的困境之中。我们必须清醒认识到,美国多元文化教育是弱势群体的权利诉求行动,是一个理想中的教育路向,它将与“熔炉”主义在相互的碰撞中长期共存。  相似文献

Using the framework for graduate and professional student socialization developed by Weidman, Twale, and Stein (2001), this study addresses socialization of doctoral students to the academic norms of research and scholarship. Data are presented about the perceptions doctoral students in a social science discipline (sociology) and in educational foundations at a major research university have of the scholarly and collegial climates of their departments. Data on students' social relationships with faculty and peers as well as their reported participation in scholarly activities are also reported. A multivariate analysis provides support for the framework, affirming the importance of social interaction among both students and faculty as well as collegiality among faculty for creating a supportive climate for doctoral study that also has the potential to provide a strong foundation for subsequent academic and/or research careers by stimulating students' research and scholarly productivity.  相似文献

The authors describe an impact study of Classroom Assessment for Student Learning (CASL), a widely used professional development program in classroom and formative assessment. Researchers randomly assigned 67 elementary schools to receive CASL materials or continue with regularly scheduled professional development. Teachers in CASL schools formed learning teams, trained with CASL materials, and implemented CASL in their classrooms under real-world conditions and without any involvement of, or requirements from, the researchers. Analysis of all schools and 9,596 students failed to yield statistically significant impacts of CASL on student mathematics achievement as measured by the statewide test. Impact analyses with 231 teachers yielded statistically significant positive impacts of CASL on teacher knowledge of assessment and the frequency of student involvement in classroom assessment. No statistically significant impacts were found on teachers' assessment practice. CASL implementation fidelity was below the CASL developer recommendations. Findings suggest potential of CASL for improving teacher outcomes.  相似文献

Bridge piers are impacted by autos sometimes. The pier usually has not been destroyed after once impact by auto. But there are few research on damage which will affect pier's capability, and most relative studies have focused the problems on piers impacted by vessels. The methods involve mainly sutra experience theory, numerical analysis, and experimental method. Owing to the complicacy of the bridge pier impacted by a vessel, there are few research derived with the sutra mechanics model and the piers impacted by autos. The dynamic response is studied here under the assumption of the rigid-plastic small-deformation for the pier impacted by auto. According to the Parkes beam model, the rigid-plastic theoretical solution is deduced. The final deformation is calculated by a practical example for the pier impacted by auto.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This practical article presents findings of a small scale study undertaken at a large U.K. University. The purpose of the study was to encourage academic engagement with Open Access (OA) and the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) mandate with the measurable impact being increased engagement with the Repository and dissemination of research while circulating information to the wider community. In order to promote research, a series of “Focus on” webpages were created aligned to a particular theme and were then disseminated via social media. It was anticipated that by potentially increasing access to research outputs, academic staff would be motivated to make their work available following OA models and use the institutional repository (IR) as a means to achieve this. The main drivers for the study were the Finch Report, the HEFCE Policy for open access in the post-2014 Research Excellence Framework and the institutional strategy for research. Data was collected through a statistical analysis of both the “Focus on” pages and journal article downloads via the IR, with results indicating increased engagement with the IR making research openly accessible.  相似文献

[目的/意义] 基于评价指标设计原理,建立可扩展到多篇论文评价的单篇论文学术影响力评价指标体系,为多角度评价单篇论文学术影响力提供多种指标。[方法/过程] 兼顾施引文献的数量与质量,建立包含TVF、TVF(n)以及VF(t)等单篇论文影响力评价指标的指标体系,提出将TVF指标扩展到多篇论文影响力的分析方法。通过实证研究,计算TVF、TVF(3)与被引次数C及施引文献的h指数的皮尔森相关性,并与他人的评价结论对照印证。[结果/结论] 对TVF及TVF(n)等指标不同的用途进行了探讨:TVF是累计综合影响力,用于全面评价论文的影响力;TVF(n)可用于比较不同年份论文间的影响力,且可预测它们未来的TVF表现。TVF还可被扩展应用到多篇论文学术影响力的评价中。  相似文献

How do we engage with our community in a more meaningful way? How do we make the user experience the center of all we do? What impact are we having and how do we measure it? In an effort to better answer these questions and make a tighter connection between library objectives and the broader needs of the community, the Oak Park Public Library embarked on a journey to “turn outward.” Following the Harwood model for community engagement, Oak Park has made strides in unifying its internal operations and strengthening strategic partnerships.
