The French school is changing from a pyramid-like structure where all schools are conceived as units executing decisions made at the top into one organized on a network basis with schools as basic units linked together through ‘conventions’. There are conventions between schools on how to allocate specialized options and clientele in each catchment area, conventions between schools and local political authorities or firms concerning resources, etc. This article examines the evolving relationship between these two models from the beginning of the 1980s. It first points out their limits: while the increase in the power of local political authorities over schools through the allocation of complementary subsidies is an undeniable fact, initiatives concerning actual teaching activities remain quite modest. Secondly, it shows that the state has progressively abandoned the idea of reaching local consensus on education-related values in favour of a more pragmatic view of local compromises on certain key measures. Finally, the article examines the link between school autonomy and educational equality. 相似文献

Objective： To evaluate the effect ofpreimplantation genetic diagnosis （PGD） conducted for women who had Down syndrome pregnancy previously. Methods： Trisomy 21 was diagnosed by using fluorescence in site hybridization （FISH） before embryo transfer in two women who had Down syndrome pregnancies. Each received one or two PGD cycles respectively. Results： Case 1： one PGD cycle was conducted, two oocytes were fertilized and biopsied. One embryo is of trisomy 21 and the other of monosomy 21. No embryo was transferred. Case 2： two PGD cycles were conducted, in total, sixteen oocytes were fertilized and biopsied. Four embryos were tested to be normal, six of trisomy 21, and one of monosomy 21. Five had no signal. Four normal embryos were transferred but no pregnancy resulted. Conclusion： For couples who had pregnancies with Down syndrome previously, PGD can be considered, and has been shown to be an effective strategy. 相似文献

Performance of biological phosphorus removal in the oxic-settling-anaerobic （OSA） process was investigated. Cell staining and fluorescent in situ hybridization （FISH） were used to analyze characteristics and microbial community of sludge. Experimental results showed that phosphorus removal efficiency was near 60% and the amount of biological phosphorus accumulation in aerobic sludge of the OSA system was up to 26.9 mg/g. Biological phosphorus removal efficiency was partially inhibited by carbon sources in the continuous OSA system. Contrasted to the OSA system, biological phosphorus removal efficiency was enhanced by 14% and the average total phosphorus （TP） contents of aerobic sludge were increased by 0.36 mg/g when sufficient carbon sources were supplied in batch experiments. Staining methods indicated that about 35% of microorganisms had typical characteristics of phosphorus accumulating organisms （PAOs）. FISH analysis demonstrated that PAOMIX-binding bacteria were predominant microbial communities in the OSA system, which accounted for around 28% of total bacteria. 相似文献

We report a case of hemolytic anemia that was subsequently identified to be a case of α-thalassaemia harboring the common rightward 3.7 kb deletion/HbH. The diagnosis was based on sequential analyses using BioRad D10 HPLC, Alkaline gel electrophoresis, GPO α THAL-IC strips and the identification of the specific genetic lesion using an α Globin reverse dot blot hybridization assay. Supravital stain of RBCs helped in identifying classical HbH inclusions. In a background of a variable clinical presentation, lack of definitive hematological markers, and general under-diagnosis of α-thalassaemias we have used this case to highlight the features and sequence of techniques involved in identifying and characterizing an α-globin chain mutation, starting from a diffuse clinical history and presentation up to the identification of a specific genetic lesion involved. 相似文献

ABSTRACT This paper analyzes a locally bound and hybridized form of civic engagement through digital media. Based on an explorative case study of a Slovak Facebook page called Zomri, engaged mostly in both mockery and denunciation of societal and political actors, the paper aims to challenge existing conceptual definitions of social media-based civic engagements, pointing to its hybridization. Through in-depth interviews with its founders and a survey of its supporters, we position the group and its activities through three separate lenses (trolling, digital vigilantism, and citizen journalism) that constitute an emergent category of dynamic and politically influential civic society actor. 相似文献
