自上世纪90年代以来，我国就面临着严峻的就业形势和巨大的就业压力，大中专毕业生的就业工作越来越被社会所关注。因“涉及千家万户，关系到人民群众的切身利益”，毕业生的就业率及就业层面也就日益成为社会评价各个高校的重要指标。管理和使用好毕业生的档案信息资料，冲破档案利用的种种局限，将隐藏的、静态的档案信息开发成系统的、有价值的和动态的档案信息，不仅对大中专的就业工作起着积极的促进作用，也势必为今后各级各类院校档案工作的发展开辟新的途径。  相似文献   

工程服务中心:构建工程创新实践教育的支撑体系——上海交通大学国家双创示范基地案例分析

在高等工程教育中学生自主实践创新教学活动极为重要,而当前高校普遍缺乏创新支撑服务平台及灵活的实践服务模式,学生在自主开展实践教学活动时常常需耗费大量的时间和成本去完成创新项目所需资源的准备;一轮轮的教学实践环境建设,由于多围绕课程、学科的培养体系投入,造成设备利用率低,与学生强烈的创新实践需求形成尖锐矛盾。本文基于当前国家双创示范基地中学生创新中心建设,创造性提出以工具借出、设备借用、远程加工、设计IP撮合等为特点的特色服务模式,持续大量地为学生提供基本器具资源使用和加工服务。围绕学生需求提供"创新实践图书馆"式的服务,为学生创造创新实践的服务环境。本文就设备借出、3D打印等具体工程服务分中心建设的内容、目标和服务模式,阐述了这类创新实践服务中心的建设模式,需要解决的问题和实施思路。实践证明,建设工程服务中心能有效解决设备利用率问题,更好地培养大规模勇于投身实践的创新人才,为高校创新人才培养模式开辟新途径。  相似文献

本文是美国"以学生为中心"的本科教学改革研究之三,主要介绍在这场改革中美国学者和教师创造的行之有效的实践和方法。全文共九部分。第1~3部分介绍相关文献、科学基础和大学教学有效性双因素假设。第4~6部分介绍由科学研究、受生活与职业发展影响和由经验总结而产生的实践与方法。第7部分是SC方法论,讨论了"SC方法树"、"3650"框架和5个"方法论误区"。第8部分是关于SC改革的未来,介绍了颠覆性创新概念和两所创新性学校。文章特别强调了设计在课堂教学模式改革中的核心作用。好的设计能把SC原则贯穿教学实践,能结合学生实际,促进学生有效学习。由于原文较长,故分为上下篇发表。上篇包括前四部分,下篇包括后五部分。  相似文献   

当代媒介文化背景下大学生媒介素养培养探析

我国当代媒介文化呈现价值取向多元化的特点,拓宽了当代大学生视野的同时,也给处在价值观形成阶段的大学生产生了负面影响。近年来,我国大学生在媒介文化消费和传播中暴露出诸多不良行为,充分说明当代大学生媒介素养水平亟待提升。培养大学生媒介素养应以社会主义核心价值观为价值导向;以促进学生发展为根本宗旨;以批判性思维为重要抓手。推进我国大学生媒介素养培养应抓住以下三个方面:确立媒介素养课程目标,借鉴美国一流大学经验、立足我国国情,课程目标应涵盖批判性思维、合作沟通、媒介鉴赏、信息获取分析、创造媒介产品、信息技术运用,以及坚持以社会主义核心价值观为导向、坚持文化自信;开发媒介素养课程内容;加强大学教师媒介素养的在职培训。  相似文献   

When Librarians Hit the Books: Uses of and Attitudes Toward E-Books

Librarians offer a unique perspective on e-books: on one hand they collect these resources and train users as part of their jobs, while on the other hand, they may be users of e-books themselves. With recent increases in research expectations for Canadian academic librarians, this study aimed to discover: when librarians do research, do they use e-books and how often are they using them? This study examines the results of a survey of 392 academic librarians from across Canada. The survey generated data on librarians' use of, and attitudes towards, e-books. While a number of studies examine the use and opinions of e-books among other user groups, this study examines how librarians search for or use e-books differently than other user groups. Results will help librarians to improve their liaison work and make more informed collection development decisions at their own institutions.  相似文献   

Mandatory Student Fees and the Academic Library

As academic libraries' budgets remain flat while their expenditures rise, library leaders must seek out alternative sources of funding. One option is a mandatory student fee dedicated to the library. This article presents the results of a survey of 152 deans and directors of public R1 and R2 research universities that were asked whether their libraries benefit from mandatory student fees. While a library-specific fee is unusual, nearly half of responding libraries are eligible to receive some portion of another mandatory student fee. Study results can serve as evidence for libraries preparing to make a case for the significant, positive impact possible through even a modest library fee.  相似文献

This article explores how the library-student liaison program at Eastern Washington University (EWU) Libraries has evolved into an opportunity for students to develop leadership skills. Originally designed to foster better communication between the EWU Libraries and students enrolled at the university, we recognized that the process of achieving established goals for the program provided a vehicle for students' leadership-skill development. To facilitate the leadership process, librarians employed the Social Change Model. Benefits to Collection Development Librarians from Collaborating with “Community-Embedded” Librarians-In-Training

The 21st century collection manager encounters serious challenges in collection development (e.g., budget shortages, lack of skilled personnel, lower agency prioritization, and reduced available staff time). This article explores a practical, low-cost solution to these challenges that prevent collection developers from regularly creating/managing adequately balanced collections. It discusses the role of 93 “community-embedded” librarians-in-training to develop contextually situated collections in a graduate course taught seven times in an information sciences program in a southern land grant university. Findings of collection management activity tasks completed during the course provide evidence of accrued tangible outcomes/benefits to motivate collection development librarians and their information agencies collaborate with librarians-in-training in future initiatives.  相似文献
