In Chomsky's Government and Binding theory, null subject is a kind of Empty Category, namely"pro". Whether subject can be empty constitutes an important parameter of universal grammar, called pro-drop Parameter which is often used to indicate the syntactic difference in human language. According to that, Chomsky divides human language into two categories:pro-drop language and non pro-drop language. The former one allows the loss of the subject, stood for by Italian, Spanish, Chinese, etc. The latter consists of English, French, etc. whose subjects cannot be omitted. Through a comparative study, taking Chinese and English as the examples, this paper aims to disclose the differences between pro-drop language and non pro-drop language. 相似文献

An essential part of the auto-tuning control involves parameter estimation of a suitable low order model. Since a common way to control an unstable system is via a PID controller, there is a growing interest in the application of new PID-based algorithms for the identification task. In this light the relative advantages of two recently published methods are investigated. The first method is based on typical data of the reaction curve and the time delay is measured directly from the initial portion of the curve. The second method utilizes a least-squares algorithm to get an equivalent time delay together with the values of the other parameters. Thus, the obtained time delay approximates not only the true delay but also part of the nonlinear and the higher order dynamics. This is an advantage when a PID auto-tuning is sought. Two examples are provided to demonstrate and compare between the results of the methods. 相似文献

This paper presents the optimal filtering and parameter identification problem for linear stochastic systems over linear observations with unknown parameters, where the unknown parameters are considered Wiener processes. The original problem is reduced to the filtering problem for an extended state vector that incorporates parameters as additional states. The resulting filtering system is bilinear in state and linear in observations. The obtained optimal filter for the extended state vector also serves as the optimal identifier for the unknown parameters. Performance of the designed optimal state filter and parameter identifier is verified for both, positive and negative, parameter values. 相似文献
