This study explores how a three‐way collaboration between a University library, writing centre and faculty created avenues of training and support for students within a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program in an American University. The role of each partner involved in the collaboration is discussed alongside the profile of the DNP students. Lesson planning and classroom techniques for DNP information literacy classes are described and feedback from the partners and the students are discussed. Temporal bibliographic networks

We present two ways (instantaneous and cumulative) to transform bibliographic networks, using the works’ publication year, into corresponding temporal networks based on temporal quantities. We also show how to use the addition of temporal quantities to define interesting temporal properties of nodes, links and their groups thus providing an insight into evolution of bibliographic networks. Using the multiplication of temporal networks we obtain different derived temporal networks providing us with new views on studied networks. The proposed approach is illustrated with examples from the collection of bibliographic networks on peer review.  相似文献

深度认识国内馆校结合领域研究的主题和发展趋势,不仅有利于研究者更加详细、清楚地了解国内馆校结合发展的最新动态,也有利于推动我国馆校结合的发展。研究结果表明,我国馆校结合领域研究主要集中在馆校结合中的博物馆角色研究和馆校结合的结合特征研究两大方面,其中馆校结合的结合特征研究又可分成六个方面:馆校结合教育课程建设;馆校结合课程的教育学思考;馆校结合教育模式;馆校结合相关教育类型;馆校结合机制与策略;馆校结合现状。我国馆校结合领域研究的发展趋势为:奠定博物馆在馆校结合中的重要作用;馆校结合机制的研究日趋增加;更多体现馆校结合课程中的教育学理念;完善馆校结合评价体系。  相似文献

2018年3月22日,美国总统特朗普正式签署美国政府对华贸易备忘录,这标志着“中美贸易战摩擦”的序幕正式拉开。本文以《人民日报》英文版(People’s Daily)为研究对象,用抽样选取的方式将该报纸上从2018年3月22日(星期四)到2019年3月28日(星期四)有关中美贸易摩擦的相关报道全部摘录下来,根据每篇报道的话语特点将其分成三个阶段,以内容分析和基于语料库的批判性话语分析为研究方法,分析得出中美贸易摩擦不同阶段的话语特点,进而得出相应的研究结论,同时提出一些富有实操价值的改进建议,为我国主流报纸更好地向世界传播中国思想、讲好中国故事献计献策。  相似文献   

Deep Participation in Underserved Communities: A Quantitative Analysis of Hearken’s Model for Engagement Journalism

ABSTRACT

Hearken is a proprietary news engagement platform growing in popularity. Under the Hearken approach, audience members are invited to participate in the newsmaking process. Hearken strives to assist news organizations in providing local and hyperlocal content that meets audience needs and demands while preserving elements of the journalist’s role as gatekeeper. Hearken has also worked to help news organizations reach underrepresented populations with mixed results per its own anecdotal analyses. This study employs a quantitative content analysis comparing one year’s worth of coverage at four different local NPR affiliates in the United States to provide a breakdown of Hearken content versus traditional reporter-driven content in the following four categories: emphasis on hyperlocal coverage, story topic prevalence within local and hyperlocal coverage, emphasis on coverage of underrepresented communities, and story topic prevalence within coverage of underrepresented communities. Findings reveal listener-driven Hearken content favors hyperlocal news on lifestyle issues while reporter-driven stories emphasize state-level governance and politics as well as local crime. These indicate a stark contrast between the content audiences want and that which journalists tend to report. The nuanced normative implications, possibilities and limitations of Hearken’s model of “deep participation” are addressed in some detail.  相似文献
