Research investigating the management styles of male and female supervisors is mixed. In an effort to clarify this research, the present study examined the interaction effect of gender of supervisor and gender of subordinate on perceived mentoring. Results revealed the least amount of mentoring occurred between female supervisors and female subordinates, but the greatest mentoring took place between female supervisors and male subordinates. Results were explained in terms of managerial experience and the double‐bind of female managers. These findings challenge the traditional advice that female subordinates should seek female supervisors.  相似文献

Abstract

This survey examines the basic needs of Harvard Law Faculty for information about new books and current journal articles. The purpose of this survey was to examine new media and technology in order to develop better current awareness tools, to better utilize the online catalog as a method of delivering current information to faculty, and to produce a new publication that fills in the gaps left by Current Index to Legal Periodicals and other sources. This survey looks at the production and circulation of photocopied pages of law reviews, recent acquisition lists, document delivery and interdisciplinary current awareness needs.  相似文献

运用文献资料法,对国内外红色体育研究进行综述。认为当前红色体育的发展还缺乏文化自觉,主要表现为：内涵不清、外延不准,研究方法单一,方向迷失、价值异化。按照马克思历史辩证法和黑格尔形式逻辑法,明晰了红色体育的上位概念、阐明了红色体育文化之“道”与现代化之“器”二者的关系,得出红色体育内涵,即广义上泛指国际红色文化圈内的一切无产阶级体育文化;狭义上是指中国近代红色文化话语体系下,以西式体育本土化和传统养生体育为手段的体育实践活动。红色体育的外延包括器物文化、制度文化和精神文化。红色体育的价值在于“道”“器”两方面,前者即坚持科学的、民族的、大众的体育方向,后者即为科学借鉴西方体育器物及改造传统器物  相似文献

基于社会网络分析(SNA)的共享调节学习评价:概念框架与解释案例

共享调节学习评价涉及协作学习的不同维度和过程,同时兼具群体感知的功能。现有的评价存在分析维度单一、数据利用不足、缺乏对互动过程的挖掘和跟踪等问题。将社会网络分析(Social Network Analysis,SNA)引入共享调节学习的评价,可以充分反映共享调节学习特有的理论观照,呈现调节过程不同阶段的特点、不同评价维度的关联性以及调节的内在机制。基于SNA的共享调节学习评价框架,在数据收集以及分析工具方面,拓展了现有的共享调节评价维度,其引入群体交流模式、群体互动紧密性、个人或群体角色、不同关系维度、多模社会关系等评价分析工具,对共享调节学习过程进行评价与跟踪,促进了群体的自我感知。以华东师范大学教育信息技术学系的一门专业选修课程为解释案例说明概念框架的应用过程,也表明了基于SNA的共享调节评价能够评估共享调节学习的协作过程,促进共享调节水平的提高,相应的评价工具能够促进协作学习活动开展,强化成员的群体感知。未来仍需要进一步深化实证研究,完善评价工具,拓展应用案例,进一步挖掘概念框架的潜在价值。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The aim of this study is to determine primary school administrators’ and teachers’ opinions about the quality of their schools; the school administrators and teachers’ knowledge about Total Quality Management and quality tools and the quality tools used in primary schools. The research has been carried out with a qualitative approach and it is in the case study pattern. The participants consisted of 16 teachers and 4 school administrators working in primary schools in North Cyprus. The participants were chosen via maximum sampling method. The findings show that the current situation in schools contradicts with the basic principles of Total Quality Management. It was determined that school administrators were ignorant about Total Quality Management and none of the teachers and school administrators had previously heard the concept of quality tools. Teachers and school administrators mentioned disabled students as an issue. It seems like teachers have problems in behaving in the right way towards these students. They do not know how to improve these students’ talents because they are not educated on the subject. Via tools of quality teachers and school administrators may find reasons and solutions for issues like people with disabilities and plan events to promote disability awareness.  相似文献
